Daomu Biji: Wu Xie’s Private Notes
Chapter 14: The Map That Was Decoded From The Warring States Silk Book
The key to translating the Warring States silk book was to take apart the characters. You split a character and made it become a matrix, and then all the details formed a huge matrix. That matrix was also divided into dimensions, so we needed to find the appropriate points. These symbols indicated the meanings of the lines after they were connected. This set of symbology was very complicated, but it could be restored in a short amount of time thanks to modern computers.
Later, this method was widely used in "Yanshi Lei" designs, but I don't know if it was also inspired by the Warring States silk book.
(TN Note: basically showing how the decoded book fits the terrain on google earth)
