Arthur's POV
Leaving the guild building, I headed toward the church to inform them that I had registered with the guild.
"I'm back," I said, entering through the church doors.
"Okay!" came a reply from the lower level of the church.
Following the sound, I saw Bell chatting with Hestia.
"What's up, Bell?" I said, raising a hand in a casual greeting.
"Nothing much, just getting ready to head into the dungeon," Bell replied with a faint smile.
"Oh, how far have you gotten so far?" I asked with a similar smile.
"T-to the fourth floor," Bell stammered in response.
"Cool! I'm planning to head in for my first time next week," I said with an excited tone.
"Next week?" Bell asked, looking slightly confused.
"Hestia didn't tell you?" I asked, getting a shake of the head from Bell in response. "I got magic, and I need to practice with it," I added.
"Magic!" Bell exclaimed, fascinated. "What kind of magic did you get?"
His enthusiasm made me smile, and I nodded to confirm.
"How does your magic work?" Bell asked after calming down a little.
"It lets me control various elements," I answered.
"Cool," Bell murmured. "Do you have any magic, Bell?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
Hearing the question, Bell's expression darkened slightly. "N-no," he muttered, looking down at the floor.
"That's great!" I said with a big smile. "Because I can teach my magic to others," I added.
Hearing this, Bell's once gloomy face lit up with a huge smile. Seeing his reaction, one thought crossed my mind: Well, damn.
"You can!?" Bell nearly jumped in excitement.
"I can, but I'll do it next week," I replied to his enthusiasm.
"Why next week?" he asked pouting
"Because what kind of teacher would I be if I didn't know the subject I was teaching?" I replied, mentally adding, I'm not my chemistry teacher, after all.
"Fine," Bell said, then glanced at a clock and paled slightly. "Sorry, I've got to go! Eina-san is waiting for me," he said before rushing out of the church.
"What's got him so scared?" I muttered to myself, watching the door. Then realization dawned on me. Well, good luck, Bell—you're going to need it, I thought to myself.
Turning to Hestia, I asked, "So, what's the plan for my accommodation? Should I find a place to stay, or will I have to stay here?"
Hestia looked around the room, noticing a normal bed and a sofa. "I think you should arrange a place to sleep," she said after considering.
"Alright, see you later," I said with a smile, turning toward the exit and waving goodbye.
Leaving the church, I decided to explore the city.
Time Skip
Seeing the darkening sky, I headed to a place where I could stay safe: an empty dungeon.
Upon entering, the only thing I did was go to sleep.

You've rested. Your HP and MP have been fully restored.

After nine hours of sleep:
{A/N: In the real world, only an hour and a half passed.}
The first thing that came to mind was meditation, so I started doing that.

Afterward, I moved on to swordsmanship practice.
Swinging a short sword back and forth, I received another notification:

Next, I tried to develop a hand-to-hand combat skill, but I gave up when I couldn't manage it.
Maybe I need to fight an actual opponent? I thought. For now, I decided to set it aside.
With that done, I moved on to practicing magic, starting with the easiest—fire.
With slight difficulty, I conjured a small fireball.
_________
-10 MP
_________
Looking at it, I could only whistle at how much strain such a small fireball put on my mana reserves. Then I remembered something from my stats: I still had 5 stat points to distribute.

After distributing the points, my HP increased by 10 and my mana by 20.
Feeling lighter, I started bouncing slightly, preparing my body for its newfound strength.
Returning to magic, I conjured a similar fireball and threw it.

Checking which skill leveled up, I saw a new description for Fire Manipulation:

Seeing the improvement, I smiled and returned to grinding my magic skills for the first day.

On the second day, I decided to experiment with gravity. I increased the gravitational force acting on my body by 0.1.
When I did that, it felt like I had an elephant pressing down on my back. The only option left was to focus on physical exercises.
By the end of the day, my Gravity Manipulation skill reached level 6. My stats had also improved considerably:

On the fourth day, I decided to work on my Lightning Manipulation.
I practiced by summoning small bolts of lightning, striking them back and forth, and refining my control. I continued this exercise throughout the day.
By the end of the fourth day, my Lightning Manipulation skill reached level 6. The only noticeable change in my stats was an increase in my magic stat to 11.5.
The fifth day was dedicated to Wind Manipulation.
I started by crafting air slashes, then worked on forming wind-based shields.

On the sixth day, I took a break to recover. During this time, I meditate and read a Dungeon Guide covering levels 1-12, preparing for future challenges.
Feeling rested and prepared, I decided to venture into the Zombie Dungeon on the seventh day.
