Danmachi: Bell Gojo through the fictional Multiverse

Chapter 125: Grand Zeno

The Universe 6 team huddled together on the edge of the now silent arena, their heads bowed as Champa's voice thundered across the vast space.

"Useless! Completely useless!" Champa's face was red with rage, his sharp teeth bared as he berated his team. "I gave you everything, and this is how you repay me? By losing to that ragtag bunch of mortals? You should be erased for your incompetence!"

Auta Magetta and Cabba flinched under Champa's tirade, while Frost scowled but kept silent. Hit stood stoic, his expression unreadable, though the tension in his posture betrayed his readiness for anything. Champa raised his hand, purple energy swirling ominously as his destructive aura grew.

"Perhaps I should do the multiverse a favor and rid it of your failures!"

Before Champa could release his energy, Bell stepped forward, his expression calm yet commanding. "That's enough, Champa."

The Destroyer of Universe 6 turned his blazing eyes to Bell. "Who are you to interrupt me, mortal? Do you want to join them in oblivion?"

Bell didn't flinch. "These fighters gave it their all. They fought valiantly for their universe. You should commend them, not destroy them."

Champa scoffed. "Commend them? They're pathetic!"

"Then why don't you test your strength against me?" Bell's voice was steady, but there was an undeniable edge of challenge. "If you win, you can do whatever you want. But if I win, you let them go."

The air grew heavier with tension. Beerus stepped forward, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Champa, are you really going to let a mortal talk to you like that?"

Before Champa could retort, a voice cut through the air like a divine melody.

"Wow, this place is so cool!"

Every head turned to see the diminutive figure of Grand Zeno, flanked by his imposing guards and the serene Grand Priest. The angels, Vados and Whis, immediately ceased their movements and appeared before Zeno, bowing deeply.

"Welcome, Grand Zeno," they said in unison, their voices respectful.

Bell followed suit, stepping forward and bowing. "It's an honor to meet you, Omniking."

Zeno's childlike face lit up as he waved. "Hi! Who are you?"

"I'm Bell," he replied with a smile. "I've heard stories about you but never had the chance to meet you. You're even more impressive than the stories."

Zeno giggled. "Impressive? You think so? Tell me more!"

Bell chuckled softly, engaging Zeno in a casual conversation about the multiverse. He asked simple yet thoughtful questions, such as why Zeno had chosen to attend the tournament. Zeno's eyes sparkled as he recounted how exciting it was to watch mortals fight.

"It's so much fun!" Zeno exclaimed. "I've never seen battles like this before!"

Bell smiled. "Would you like to learn some basics yourself? Maybe throw a punch or two?"

Zeno's excitement reached a fever pitch. "Really? You'd teach me? That sounds amazing!"

The Grand Priest's serene demeanor shifted slightly, his brows raising in surprise. "Teaching the Omniking to fight is no small endeavor. Are you certain you're up to the task?"

Bell nodded, his tone serious. "I can sense Zeno's energy. It takes everything I have just to stay standing in his presence. If we're going to train, we need to ensure the environment can handle it."

The Grand Priest's eyes widened. "You can sense his energy? Even angels spend eons training to perceive such power."

Vados and Whis exchanged stunned glances. Beerus and Champa, who had only just noticed Zeno's presence, froze in place. In a blur of speed that left mortals dumbfounded, both Destroyers appeared before Zeno, bowing deeply.

"Forgive our ignorance, Grand Zeno!" Beerus said, his voice trembling. "We didn't realize you were here!"

Champa added hastily, "We apologize for our bickering. It won't happen again!"

Zeno giggled. "It's okay! This is so much fun!"

The Grand Priest finally spoke. "If you truly wish to train Grand Zeno, Bell, I will ensure that the palace is reinforced to withstand the energy output. It will be ready in a week's time. I must commend you on your unique abilities. Few mortals have achieved such feats."

Bell bowed his head. "Thank you, Grand Priest. I'll do my best."

With that, Zeno waved goodbye in his adorable way. "Bye-bye! See you soon!"

In a flash of light, Zeno, the Grand Priest, and the guards disappeared, leaving the arena in stunned silence. Beerus exhaled deeply, wiping sweat from his brow. "That was too close. Bell, you're lucky you didn't say anything out of line."

Bell smirked. "I think I made a good impression."

As the tension eased, Beerus stepped forward, eager to make his wish. "Whis, summon Super Shenron."

Whis obliged, speaking the language of the gods. The arena trembled as the colossal golden dragon, Super Shenron, emerged, its size dwarfing the very stars.

Beerus cleared his throat and whispered his wish to Whis, who translated it for the dragon. "Restore Universe 6's Earth, and grant Beerus the most comfortable bed with pillows that are hot on one side and cold on the other."

Super Shenron's eyes glowed ruby red as the wish was granted. The massive dragon disappeared, leaving behind a restored Universe 6 Earth and a very satisfied Beerus.

"Finally," Beerus said, smirking at Champa. "Now you can stop whining about food."

Champa grumbled but didn't respond, his attention already on the thought of Earth's delicacies.

As the fighters and their families boarded the transportation cubes, the air was filled with a sense of camaraderie and relief. The bonds forged during the tournament would last a lifetime, and for Bell, the promise of training Zeno opened a new chapter of unimaginable possibilities.
