D' Ultimate Lich King

Chapter 127: DULK: Chapter 127

Arthas knew a little about vampires, but not enough to fully understand his strange feelings.

It was bloodlust, affecting both the vampire and the victim.

For vampires, feeding brings unparalleled pleasure, also transmitted to the victim.

Arthas was affected by Flandre's bloodlust; his strength prevented a worse reaction.

Flandre panted; her leg, resting on Arthas, moved restlessly.

"Ugh, so hot… so uncomfortable, but… but so delicious, Flandre wants more… ugh… cough, cough," the little vampire mumbled, choking on the blood.

"Really… be careful," Arthas patted her back as she pulled away, her crimson eyes bright, her lips stained with blood.

The aroused girl gasped, then impulsively kissed Arthas.

Arthas froze, unsure what to do; he remained still, letting Flandre feed.

The pleasure was short-lived; a sharp pain on his lips snapped him out of his trance.

She'd bitten him again! Was she trying to drain him?

Arthas chuckled wryly; he needed to calm Flandre; it would be easy using his power.

Flandre shivered, pulling away.

"Better? Calmer?"

Arthas asked, amused by her cute reaction.

"Master's annoying; I was enjoying it,"

Flandre pouted; being forcibly calmed wasn't pleasant.

"I'd be drained! Have some consideration! I'm human,"

Arthas chuckled, wiping his lips; he stood; Flandre had been intense, and it had taken its toll.

"Sorry, Master,"

Flandre stuck out her tongue, wiping her mouth, standing.

"But Master's blood was delicious; I feel so energized,"

The pink-hued morning passed; Illya woke; a servant brought news from the Church.

The Church, overseeing the Holy Grail War, wanted Arthas to claim his reward for defeating the rogue Servant.

"The Church got the news so quickly?"

Illya was surprised; they'd defeated the Caster last night; the Church should have taken longer.

"Not surprising; as overseers, they have eyes everywhere,"

Arthas chuckled; he'd suspected it; the Church's message confirmed it.

Someone had been following them, unable to penetrate the Einzbern barrier, but tailing them when they went out.

This was impossible, unless… it was the eliminated Assassin.

An Assassin with Presence Concealment could perfectly track and spy without detection.

But the Assassin should have been eliminated, staging a somewhat comical withdrawal.

This comical withdrawal made Arthas suspect the Assassin hadn't truly withdrawn.

Was it a deception?

The Assassin's Master, Kotomine Kirei, sought refuge at the Church after the Assassin's withdrawal; coincidentally, Kotomine Kirei was the son of the Church's head priest, Kotomine Risei.

The Servant who eliminated the Assassin was Archer; Archer's Master, Tokiomi Tohsaka, was Kotomine Kirei's teacher.

Though Kotomine Kirei and Tokiomi Tohsaka had split after Kirei received a Command Seal, this series of relationships hinted at a conspiracy.

Perhaps Tohsaka Tokiomi and the Church were working together; the plan to reward Tohsaka Tokiomi with a Command Seal for defeating the rogue Servant had been disrupted.

They hadn't expected Arthas to encounter and eliminate the Caster that night, derailing their plans.

Tohsaka Tokiomi, having lost a Command Seal, must crave this one.

What did the Church want? Would they give him the Command Seal, or was there a trap?
