Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1707: Future Problems

Following everything regarding the Frozen Wastelands being settled and the sect's general future development being placed in the hands of Elder Song, Xuan Hao found himself using his divine sense to check up on the current situation of Gong Cheng and the other three who had come along with him to join the Star Shattering Sect before he had went over to check up on the situation taking place close to the core of the Frozen Wastelands… And although he had essentially left them in the hands of a few Domain Lord Realm Elders of the sect, they had already managed to settle down in their respective new homes inside the sect. Focusing on their own professions without any hesitation now that they finally had not only the resources to make full use of their abilities, but also the safety to do so without the fear of a major power like the Blue Sea Empire showing up threatening them to either join them or get killed off.

Even if the Blue Sea Empire or other major powers ended up learning about their existence inside the Star Shattering Sect, there wasn't really anything they feared about this, as they had already managed to get a good idea about the strength of the Star Shattering Sect and understood that it was by no means weak and would be more than capable of standing up to a major power on its own. Ensuring that they would be able to peacefully cultivate inside the Star Shattering Sect without any problems coming their way.

But… Maybe most importantly of all, they also realized that outside of practicing their respective profession and slowly starting to advance towards the Saint Realm in their respective fields, they also came to realize that their cultivation became far easier after they had become a part of the Star Shattering Sect with the help of things like the Dao Enlightenment Monument and the newly added Enlightenment Chamber.

However, the main benefit to them on their path to the Saint Realm was that the library of the Star Shattering Sect contained clear information on the Saint Realm and the requirements for reaching the Saint Realm and how to proceed further along this path of cultivation, something they had never encountered before and essentially made them fully loyal to the Star Shattering Sect in an instant.

As for where this information on the Saint Realm had come from… It mostly originated from information Xuan Hao had bought from the Tower of Secrets in the mystic realm while also containing some new information he had managed to gather on the Saint Realm from looking through snippets of information throughout the Tower of Secrets during his search for information on the realms above the Profound Immortal Realm.

Of course, the source of the information wasn't really a concern for these newly added Dao Seed Realm Elders of the sect, all they cared about was the information was there and readily available to them. At the same time, the presence of this kind of information only made them more certain about the Star Shattering Sect's strength, as they knew from firsthand experience that even a major power like the Blue Sea Empire wouldn't easily hand out this kind of information even if they ended up joining them to safely breakthrough to the Saint Realm.

In fact, one of the three people who joined the Star Shattering Sect together with Gong Cheng had once been a part of the Blue Sea Empire, but had left the empire after he was repeatedly denied access to information on the Saint Realm because he didn't have enough contribution to the empire yet.

Of course, different from the contribution points of the Star Shattering Sect, that was tangible and easy to understand, contribution in the eyes of the Blue Sea Empire was more intangible and impossible to understand and seemed more dependent on how connected one was to those above.

For one, the main thing that had caused this person to leave the Blue Sea Empire even at the risk of being hunted down was because he saw a junior over a thousand years younger than himself who had done nothing for the Blue Sea Empire get access to the information he had been working hard towards gaining access to for the past five or so hundred years at that point in time, because the one in charge of that information happened to be a family member of his.

Compared to that kind of situation, it was far simpler in the Star Shattering Sect, as almost everything was available with enough contribution points… And more importantly, the cost of the information on the Saint Realm that he had sought for over five hundred years without success back in the blue Sea Empire could essentially be exchanged for such a meager amount of contribution points that it wouldn't even take him a week to gather enough…

To be honest, after this realization, this specific new elder in question viewed the Blue Sea Empire and the Star Shattering Sect in a completely different light, as just from how cheaply the Star Shattering Sect viewed this kind of information, it was clear that the sect really didn't care about or viewed it as something valuable to be guarded like the Blue Sea Empire had done. Indicating a clear difference in level between the two powers.

Outside of this, there was also the recent addition of new information on the Profound Immortal Realm into the library that had stirred up some waves among the stronger elders and guest elders of the sect , but the situation had quickly calmed down after realizing that this information should have just been added to encourage them to continue advancing and showing them that the sect would have more than enough resources to help them advance even if they broke through to the Profound Immortal Realm in the future.

To just make this even more clear, there had even been a bit of information about the realm that existed above the Profound Immortal Realm, the Venerable Realm, released along with the new information on the Profound Immortal Realm.

Of course, this information was understandably restricted and wasn't accessible, something that everyone who learnt about this information found understandable, as even the higher realms of the Profound Immortal Realm had similar restrictions. Indicating that it wouldn't be as simple to get the information on those cultivation realms as it had been in the past.

Even then, the fact that the information existed and the Star Shattering Sect had the ability to show it off indicated just how strong the sect was, while the information on a realm above the Profound Immortal Realm that they had never heard about before made everyone, Feng Chen, Elder Song and the previous sect elders included understand that the Star Shattering Sect was far more terrifying than they had first expected.

Although… For the latter, it was more so that they felt Xuan Hao was far stronger than they had first expected, as some of them even began wondering if he had already reached the Venerable Realm.

And in response to all this…

"Of course, I haven't broken through to the Venerable Realm, these old fellows have far too much faith in me."

Xuan Hao was left completely speechless as even normally rational people like Feng Chen came to ask him whether he had already broken through to the Venerable Realm, a realm so far removed from him that he still didn't understand much of the realm outside of its name.

In the end, though the information on the existence of the Venerable Realm above the Profound Immortal Realm did help boost the image of the sect in the eyes of everyone, it also placed an enormous burden on Xuan Hao himself, as he realized that everyone had already started treating him as someone in the Venerable Realm even though he had just barely broken through to the Profound Immortal Realm less than a month ago.

The pressure was not only because of the expectations that had been placed on him, but also because he understood that if his cultivation couldn't keep up in the future and live up to the expectations of these sect elders, it would end up negatively impacting the Star Shattering Sect.

After all, there didn't exist some terrifying hidden sect behind the scenes hidden on the Second and Main Star Peak like most of the sect's elders and disciples had begun to speculate, but there was no way for this to remain hidden without his own strength far surpassing everyone in the sect by such degree that no one would even think about questioning his decision to seal off the two mountain peaks.

For now it was fine, as Feng Chen and Elder Song were fully aware of the situation and were in complete control of the sect, but in the future when more of the younger generation grew up and the different elders who hadn't been with the Star Shattering Sect since the beginning became stronger, it would inevitably lead to the power of the sect being shared and different responsibilities being handed over to these senior members of the sect.

And… In the end… It would lead them to become curious about the Main and Second Star Peak that had remained completely closed off. Not out of any suspicious or evil intentions, just simple curiosity that would lead to questions that would be difficult to answer and could best be dealt with if he remained far removed and far stronger than anyone in the sect. Acting as a kind of person who was just ensuring the stability of the sect's outward expansion into the rest of the continent.
