Crossover: With Heaven-Defying Insight, I'm Shaking the Very Aeons

Chapter 85: Excalibur vs. Heaven's Strike

Unlike her previous casual demeanor, this time, Jibril's slender body trembled slightly. Condensing such a vast amount of energy to its absolute limit was a feat that required the full concentration of even a Flügel.

In return, the power she obtained was truly formidable.

Lancelot and Guinevere, who had previously been underestimating her, now had completely grave expressions on their faces.

"To think she actually possesses this scale of energy… this is more than ten times!"

Lancelot sensed an extremely dangerous aura from the tip of the spear of light. He knew Jibril had a lot of energy, but he never imagined it was this much. Even the Divine Protection of Steel couldn't save his life against such a massive energy disparity.

He had a premonition that if he faced this attack head-on, he, along with the cratered mountain range behind him and even an entire continent, would be utterly pulverized by the spear of light, evaporated into nothingness.

A gap this large could no longer be bridged by the advantage of an Authority. The energy capable of shattering a continent far exceeded the limits of his spiritual essence.

"To condense magical energy to this degree… this is a technique that has reached the Holy Sanctuary, perhaps even approaching the level of an Authority!" Guinevere's eyes also flashed with intense shock.

Although the Flügel before them was clueless about the application of magical energy, her fine control over it was something even a typical Heretic God couldn't compare to.

The technique of extracting all the energy from one's body and unleashing it in a single burst seemed simple, but it was practically impossible for anyone to achieve. Even the strongest Heretic God could hardly expend all their divine power in a single strike.

Yet, somehow, she had done it.

Not only could she project all her power, but she could even control it. To be blunt, this level of control was already approaching the domain of an Authority.

It was as if she was born to construct this very technique. After condensing all her power in such an extreme manner, Guinevere was absolutely certain that the Flügel girl before her could indeed shatter a continent with a single strike.

And such a strike was definitely not an attack that a normal Heretic God or Godslayer could withstand.

Not even Lancelot, with the protection of the Sword's Origin.

"Lord Su… M-Master!"

With no time to hesitate, and though she hadn't fully submitted to her new master, Guinevere lowered her head in this critical moment, seeking a solution from Su Mo.

"Uncle's strength is not enough to handle this attack, I beseech your judgment!"

Not wanting Lancelot to die in vain, she frantically issued her warning.

Faced with this warning, the usually proud Lancelot rarely failed to object. He didn't mind charging forward, but he couldn't let his own pointless pride cause his Lord to misjudge the battlefield situation.

"I know."

Su Mo's answer slightly eased Guinevere's worries. Since he knows, he must have a way to deal with the enemy, right?

She didn't notice that, in the face of an external enemy, she had unconsciously begun to rely on her new master.

It wasn't just her. Everyone in the chat group was holding their breath, their full attention fixed on Su Mo. If Su Mo lost to this Flügel, the entire dynamic the chat group had built up might change. Everyone in the group might fall under Jibril's tyrannical rule.

Aside from Jibril herself, no one wanted to see Su Mo lose.

Fortunately, Su Mo's expression was as calm as ever, which allowed them to maintain their confidence.

Under their expectant gazes, Su Mo stated his countermeasure with an incredibly calm demeanor.

"Saber, she's all yours."

"Yes, Master!"

Artoria stepped forward, her expression resolute, her golden ahoge moving on its own.

"Huh?"

Seeing this, Guinevere was dumbfounded.

Rin Tohsaka: ?

Kanae Kocho: ?

Erica Blandelli: ?

"My Lord, what are you…?"

Even Lancelot couldn't understand it. In terms of combat power as a Heretic God, Artoria was stronger than him, but only by a little, right? Asking Artoria to tank the full force of the enemy's attack was sending her to her death.

Jibril clearly thought so too.

After maintaining the formed spear of light at its limit, she ignored Artoria and aimed her Heaven's Strike at Su Mo.

"I acknowledge that you possess the same nature as gods. Allow me to grant you defeat with this, my strongest Heaven's Strike!"

Su Mo did not respond to this declaration.

Instead, Artoria took another step forward.

"I am the sword that serves my Master. Until you have defeated me, you are not worthy of facing him."

"How dull."

Hearing the same line Lancelot had used, Jibril couldn't even be bothered to reply and raised her arms high.

The spear of light, containing all her power, shone with a blinding brilliance, and the condensed energy was instantly unleashed.

BOOM!!!

A pillar of light capable of severing a continent shot forth, a vast attack that swept up everything in its path.

You'd better survive! I have high hopes for you, Lord Godslayer!

While using all her strength to deliver a killing blow, she also sincerely hoped her opponent would live. For Jibril, these two feelings were not contradictory.

Although, she didn't actually think he could survive the power of Heaven's Strike.

And just as she watched the battlefield with expectant eyes, thinking Heaven's Strike would annihilate these minions…

A resolute voice appeared, along with a torrent of golden light.

"This is a battle to save the world!"

"This is a battle for survival!"

"This is a battle to protect the order of man!"

"This is a battle against evil!"

"…"

At first, the golden torrent was faint, like a candle flame flickering in the face of Heaven's Strike, on the verge of being extinguished.

But with each subsequent cry, the golden torrent erupted with several times more power, causing the faint candlelight to gradually expand.

By the eighth cry, the golden torrent was already able to match Heaven's Strike.

By the ninth, it was able to counter-attack.

Finally, Artoria swung the Sword of Promised Victory in her hand—or rather, what should now be called the Holy Sword of the Planet.

"This is a battle for honor!"

"In the name of the wielder of the Holy Sword of the Planet, I release the tenth of the thirteen restraints. For my Lord, Su Mo, I shall vanquish the great enemy of the planet before me!"

By defining Jibril as an enemy of the planet and drawing on the energy supply from the Arcane Holy Grail, Artoria unleashed all her current power in a single burst.

BOOM!!!

The clash of light against light made the entire moon shine as brightly as the sun.

People on the night side of Earth quickly noticed that the moon in the sky had suddenly begun to emit a light comparable to the sun, almost illuminating the entire night sky.

Finally, the golden light suddenly surged, so bright that people could barely open their eyes.

After several long seconds, this astronomical phenomenon finally disappeared.

Curious onlookers wanted to take out their telescopes to see what had happened. But upon closer inspection, they found that no telescope was needed. Anyone familiar with the patterns on the moon's surface could see with the naked eye an irregular crack that had suddenly appeared.

Noticing this, people were horrified. What on earth had happened on the moon to cause such a drastic change to its surface? Not even the world-ending meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs could have caused this level of damage, could it?

---||---

And on the moon.

"Master! I have not failed my duty."

Having completed her mission to protect her master, Artoria reported back with a meticulous attitude. Although her expression showed nothing, her master noticed her constantly twirling ahoge, a clear sign that she was actually very excited and eager for praise.

Su Mo was never stingy with praise for his subordinates.

"Well done, Saber!"

Hearing this, Artoria's ahoge perked up, her holy cerulean eyes filled with joy, though her words remained humble.

"Without the magical energy from your Holy Grail, Master, I would not have been able to unleash the full power of the Holy Sword of the Planet."

"That's my Holy Grail… ah, no, I mean, what's mine is Master's!" Guinevere muttered, then immediately looked at Su Mo in a panic after realizing she had spoken aloud, anxiously trying to explain herself.

Seeing the now much more docile Guinevere, Lancelot shook his head, not chiming in.

"I never thought you possessed such power, Artoria. As expected of the knight who bears the name of King Arthur!" he said, stunned by the power Artoria had displayed.

From what Artoria had just said, this Holy Sword of the Planet had a total of thirteen seals, and she had only released ten of them. If just over half its power was this strong, what would happen if all the seals were released? Could it destroy the entire moon?

Looked at this way, the power of the so-called Holy Sword of the Planet was in no way inferior to the Blade of Salvation, and perhaps even surpassed it.

Rin Tohsaka: Meow meow meow? It's over already?

Rin Tohsaka: Lord Su Mo didn't even make a move!

Erica Blandelli: That's right! I thought my Lord was going to do it himself, but it turns out Senior Artoria was enough?

Madoka Kaname: I never expected this result at all.

Rin Tohsaka: Indeed. And I was worried whether Lord Su Mo could win. It seems I was too naive.

Rin Tohsaka: I know I'm not qualified to say this, but for Lord Su Mo, even Tier 4 seems to be nothing special.

Kanae Kocho: Ordinary power levels can clearly no longer be used to evaluate Lord Su Mo.

Kanae Kocho: But am I the only one curious about what happened to the newcomer, Miss Jibril?

Rin Tohsaka: I'm curious too. Didn't she say victory was guaranteed earlier?

Rin Tohsaka: @Jibril

Erica Blandelli: Kicking someone when they're down… you're terrifying, Rin, but I like it!

Erica Blandelli: Serves her right for daring to offend Lord Su Mo!

United in their animosity, Erica directed the live stream to the battlefield.

After the dust settled, everyone saw a massive trench on the ground, a scar visible even on a planetary scale. And in the deepest part of the trench, a figure very similar to Jibril, but clearly much younger, lay in a heap on the ground.

Seeing this Flügel, who looked no older than six or seven, everyone was stunned.

Erica Blandelli: A little girl?

Rin Tohsaka: Did she shrink from the hit?
