Chapter 80: Tier 4 vs. Tier 3, The Advantage is Mine!
Erica Blandelli: ?
Kanae Kocho: ?
Rin Tohsaka: ?
Madoka Kaname: ?
The newcomer's sudden declaration left everyone stunned.
That's it?
What kind of reaction was that? Was she dissatisfied with this mythological-level battle?
Kanae Kocho: Was that a slip of the tongue, Jibril?
Kanae sensed something was off, but she wanted to confirm, worried she was overthinking it. However, the next reply completely shattered that hope.
Jibril: Of course not. I'm just stating the facts.
Jibril: And here I was, getting my hopes up. A power that can only destroy mountains and part seas dares to call itself a battle of mythological proportions? Are the gods of other worlds all this weak?
Her overly arrogant tone and dismissive attitude struck a chord with everyone in the group.
This newcomer was so conceited!
Rin Tohsaka: "Only" destroy mountains and part seas?
Kanae Kocho: A power like that is considered weak?
Erica Blandelli: To look down on even the power of a god… this newcomer has quite the nerve. It seems she's no ordinary person.
To say something like that while watching this scene meant she was either completely insane or had something to back it up.
Jibril: Of course! I am a Flügel. While I may not have slain a god myself, I have seen many other races. The power output of this so-called god can't even compare to a mere Gigant, let alone a Dragonia or an Old Deus.
Jibril: I was actually looking forward to it when you all mentioned a mythological battle, but I didn't expect it to be at this level.
Jibril: Sigh. I suppose I shouldn't have had any expectations for this so-called Dimensional Chat Group.
Jibril couldn't judge the effects of Athena's Authorities or concepts through the screen, but she could gauge her opponent's strength by its impact on the surrounding environment.
The Heretic God Athena's power was considered strong in the eyes of others. She could casually destroy a mountain range and, if serious, an entire island—a nation-level power that was definitely in the dominant tier.
But for a Flügel, that was far too weak.
Judging by power scale alone, this so-called god's ultimate attack was barely on par with her own basic attacks.
Among the Flügel, Jibril was known for her impressive battle record, but her on-paper power level wasn't particularly outstanding. And this supposed god couldn't even match her… Was such a weak being truly worthy of being called a god?
The thought left Jibril somewhat disappointed.
Madoka Kaname: Flügel? Gigant?
Even Madoka could keenly sense that the newcomer's world was anything but simple.
Rin Tohsaka, on the other hand, immediately did a "home visit." After finding the newcomer's profile, she was left speechless.
Rin Tohsaka: I thought the newcomer was just a chuuni spouting nonsense, but…
Rin Tohsaka: Everyone, look at this. [Screenshot.JPG]
She immediately sent what she had found.
The group chat fell silent. A few seconds later, someone finally spoke.
Madoka Kaname: Am… am I seeing this right? The newcomer's level is… Tier 4?!
Madoka rubbed her eyes fiercely, thinking she was losing her mind.
Kanae Kocho: Tier 4… I remember the chat group defines that as the Continent-Sinking level. In other words, a level capable of destroying an entire continent…
Kanae Kocho: Speaking of which, aren't Heretic Gods all Tier 3?
Kanae was also at a loss. God-level combat power was already the ceiling of her understanding. She couldn't make sense of Su Mo's strength, and now another incomprehensibly powerful being had appeared.
If the chat group's rating was accurate, did that mean the newcomer could sink the entire country she stood on into the sea all by herself?
Erica Blandelli: That's right. In fact, Lord Su Mo is currently still Tier 3.
Upon learning this news, Erica was probably the calmest one in the group. She knew Su Mo's power level was still Tier 3, the same as a Heretic God. But she knew even better that his strength was not so easily defined.
When Su Mo was still a Tier 2 Paladin, he had killed a Heretic God with overwhelming superiority. For a true powerhouse like him, fighting above one's tier was nothing special.
Jibril: Tier 4? Tier 3?
Hearing their discussion, she curiously checked the function and quickly figured it out. Then, she immediately looked up everyone's level.
Jibril: I see. I thought this Dimensional Chat Group was full of powerful beings, but it turns out you're all weaker than the weeds in my world.
"Weeds" was the Flügel's derogatory term for the Elves. In the world of No Game No Life, any Elf capable of combat was basically at a Tier 2 level. To a Flügel, Elves of that caliber were like roadside weeds, easily reaped in droves and not worth a second glance.
She hadn't expected that this chat group, so mysterious that even the God of War, Artosh, couldn't interfere with it, would contain so many beings weaker than weeds. Some were even just ordinary people, barely different from beasts.
Jibril: Even the strongest among you, this Su Mo, is only Tier 3. And you dare call him a Godslayer?
After discovering that none of them could beat her, Jibril went on an all-out offensive. This wasn't some kind of goading strategy; it was simply the inherent arrogance of the Flügel.
Flügel were generally arrogant, and Jibril was even more arrogant than the average Flügel.
Hearing Jibril's previous comments, the group had just about managed to stomach it. After all, she was right. To a Tier 4 powerhouse like her, they probably were less valuable than roadside weeds.
But when they heard her next sentence and realized she was looking down on Su Mo as well, they immediately lost their patience.
Rin Tohsaka: You can talk down to me, I can take it. I'm pure fluff. The worst that happens if you bully me is that I get bullied. I can't do anything about it.
Rin Tohsaka: But how dare you look down on Lord Su Mo? That I cannot tolerate.
Madoka Kaname: That's right! Big Brother Su Mo is really strong!
Jibril: Tier 3? Strong?
Jibril responded to their indignation with irrefutable mockery.
Rin Tohsaka: Hmph! When you were analyzing power levels before, you only seemed to consider racial factors. If I'm not mistaken, you're one of those long-lived races who are just born with that kind of power, right?
Jibril: Naturally. A strong being's power is innate. Although, in the presence of my Master God, I'm not yet worthy of being called strong.
Jibril found Rin's question very strange. Besides being born with it, was there any other way to have power?
Rin Tohsaka: I knew it. Someone like you, who can only squander their innate power, would never understand! You're only one tier higher for now. Lord Su Mo could crush you at any time!
Kanae Kocho: That's right! For Lord Su Mo, that small gap is nothing!
Erica Blandelli: How could someone who spouts such arrogant nonsense possibly comprehend my Lord's power?
Despite knowing Jibril was rated as Tier 4, not a single person in the group sided with her. Besides finding the newcomer too arrogant and unfriendly, there was another important reason.
Their faith in Su Mo.
Everyone but Jibril had witnessed Su Mo's growth firsthand. In just one day, he had gone from a complete and utter nobody to a Tier 3 powerhouse, one who even held an overwhelming advantage over typical Tier 3 gods.
In the face of such terrifyingly rapid growth, what did Jibril's meager one-tier advantage even count for?
Not to mention, thinking back on Su Mo's near-invincible record, they even felt that the current Tier 3 Su Mo might not be any weaker than this Tier 4 Flügel.
With such a titan backing them up, they naturally felt more confident in confronting the newcomer.
Faced with their counter-attack, Jibril let out a bored yawn.
Jibril: How dull… Is this how the weak huddle together for warmth?
Jibril: Forget it. I don't have time to waste chatting with you. Although you're all weak, I'm still very interested in this chat group… From the looks of it, you all seem to acknowledge this Su Mo person. So, it's fine to consider him your leader, right?
Erica Blandelli: Lord Su Mo is my master. There's no need to "consider" it.
Rin Tohsaka: I guess so, but what are you planning?
She felt a subconscious sense of unease.
Jibril smiled haughtily.
Jibril: What else? Battle, conquer, and plunder, of course!
Jibril: To take what you desire by killing is to have it be granted by heaven—that is the creed of us Flügel!
Jibril: So, care for a duel?
Jibril: @Su Mo.
Jibril: Let's wager our lives. The loser's everything will belong to the winner. If you lose, you and everything under you will become mine!
Jibril: And if I lose, the same applies!
Brimming with confidence, Jibril directly challenged Su Mo to a duel.
Given Su Mo's status in the chat group, she just had to take him down, and the entire group would fall into her hands.
As for losing? Impossible!
Tier 4 versus Tier 3—the advantage is mine
