Crossover: With Heaven-Defying Insight, I'm Shaking the Very Aeons

Chapter 74: The Arcane Holy Grail, and "The More You Struggle, The More Excited I Get"

Pandora's outlandish comment was enough to make even Su Mo pause in his tracks.

"If this bothers you, I can find another way."

Su Mo was still quite considerate of his subordinates. Artoria, unlike Lancelot, was a follower who had joined him of her own free will. Naturally, she deserved special consideration.

Hearing Su Mo's words, Artoria was deeply moved.

To think Master cares so much about me.

She immediately shook her head, glancing over at Lancelot as she did.

"Master, please don't worry about me! In a world where even Lancelot is a woman, this Guinevere is not the same person I once knew. I won't be bothered in the slightest. Please, do as you see fit."

She was telling the truth.

The legendary tragic love triangle of Arthurian lore... and all three of them were women. The relationship was such a chaotic mess that even if she wanted to be offended, she wouldn't know where to begin.

Besides, she didn't know this Guinevere. The woman was an enemy from the start, and how Su Mo chose to deal with his enemies was his decision alone.

If she had been bothered by this, she wouldn't have taken the initiative to capture Guinevere in the first place.

"That simplifies things."

Seeing that Artoria genuinely didn't mind, Su Mo resumed his advance on Guinevere.

"Rakshasa King, stay back! Don't come any closer!"

Guinevere retreated with every step Su Mo took.

But after just a few steps, she felt herself bump into hard armor. Turning around, she saw it was Lancelot.

"My apologies, my beloved child. I must obey my master's command."

The female war god blocked her path, refusing to let her pass.

"Uncle…"

Cornered, Guinevere collapsed weakly to the ground. As Su Mo closed in, she clenched her fists, her defiant gaze fixed on him.

"Don't push me, Rakshasa King. You think I truly have no way to fight back?"

As she spoke, serpentine scales materialized across her skin. The faint aura of a Heretic God began to emanate from her, proving she wasn't lying—she truly did have power in reserve.

However…

"Go on, fight back! The harder you struggle, the more excited I get! *Kekekekeke!*"

Before Su Mo could even respond to Guinevere's threat, Pandora had already struck a classic villainous pose.

"Pandora, you're forcing my hand!"

Guinevere rose from the ground, her expression becoming far more solemn. Her respectful demeanor toward Pandora was gone.

Su Mo could feel the Divinity of an Earth Mother Goddess coalescing within her.

As a Divine Ancestor and a descendant of the Earth Mother Goddesses, Guinevere could cast off the seal of her draconic-serpentine form at any time and revert to her divine state.

However, such an act was irreversible. Guinevere was preparing to defy them at the cost of her own life.

Faced with this rebellious attitude, Pandora's opinion was…

"That's right, I'm pushing you. What are you going to do about it?"

Seeing that Guinevere might revert to her divine form at any moment, Pandora wasn't the least bit worried. Instead, she adopted a smug, triumphant air.

"Thinking of using the Divine Ancestors' hidden trick to become a Heretic God? Go ahead. Do it. For little Su Mo, you're far easier to deal with as an Earth Mother Goddess than as a Divine Ancestor. Come on, transform!"

As an Earth Mother Goddess herself, Pandora knew every trick her kind could possibly use against her.

She knew Guinevere was just bluffing.

If Guinevere dared to return to her divine form, Su Mo wouldn't even need the new technique he had just acquired. He could turn her into a Vassal directly.

"Damn you!"

Her weak spot exposed, Guinevere didn't dare transform.

If she didn't reclaim her Divinity, she had no way to resist. If she did, she would be walking straight into a trap.

And so, while Guinevere wanted to resist but couldn't bring herself to, Su Mo pierced her chest with the tip of his Blade of Salvation.

Using the information granted by Pandora, the Plunder Art of the Sword's Origin activated, siphoning Guinevere's entire Spiritual Core into Su Mo's body.

Then, just as it had with Lancelot, a phenomenon occurred. Beneath Su Mo's blade, Guinevere was completely reborn as his vassal.

"So, how about it? Willing to tell us the pseudo-god manifestation Art now?" Pandora asked, leaning in as Guinevere's eyes fluttered open.

"I'll never do it!"

Guinevere's reply was as defiant as ever, her tone firm and her temper unchanged.

And yet, her body moved on its own. She walked right up to Su Mo, prepared all the knowledge in her mind, and involuntarily puckered her lips, as if awaiting her master's pleasure.

Seeing this, Pandora gloated.

"Hmph hmph hmph. Your words say no, but your body has to obey! I just love seeing you like this, unable to resist."

"Mmmph~"

Guinevere wanted to retort, but the contract bound to her very soul compelled her to stand on her tiptoes, eager to complete the transfer of knowledge as quickly as possible.

Naturally, Su Mo wouldn't refuse the offering of his own vassal. He simply lowered his head and accepted it.

A moment later, after the knowledge transfer was complete, Guinevere had a miserable look on her face. Her body, however, was brutally honest, retrieving the Holy Grail she treasured so dearly.

"This is magical energy I've collected for millennia. I was originally saving it for the Last King."

Now, it was Su Mo's property. Even if she didn't want to hand it over, she had no choice.

Su Mo accepted the Holy Grail without ceremony.

"A Holy Grail filled with the life force of several Earth Mother Goddesses. If fully absorbed, even an ordinary Godslayer could grow to a level rivaling the Last King."

"However, using it for a simple power boost is too wasteful. I'm more interested in studying the Divinity itself."

The Sword's Origin technique was complete. He had obtained the Blade of Salvation and the Arcane Holy Grail, and gained a knight and a handmaiden in the process.

For Su Mo, this expedition had been quite fruitful.

After taking stock, he refocused on his long-standing priority: Divinity.

As mentioned before, a Heretic God's Divinity is a construct formed when a mythological being descends upon the mortal plane.

When a Heretic God returns to mythology, the god's consciousness departs, but the coalesced Divinity doesn't necessarily dissipate.

Su Mo had previously probed the core structure within a Divinity and discovered a material structure he had provisionally named "Stardust Particles." He just didn't know yet if this structure had the effect he predicted.

Originally, trying to isolate and study the Stardust Particles within a Divinity would have been incredibly difficult.

The structure of a Divinity is complex, making it hard to eliminate interference from the structure itself.

But now, thanks to Guinevere, he had a complete understanding of the technology to simulate a Divinity.

In other words, he could create a simulated Divinity with the exact same functions as a real one.

By comparing the genuine article to a simulation, he could easily isolate the differences.

So, the question was: what would be the difference between a simulated Divinity constructed purely from magical energy, and the real Divinity Su Mo possessed?

If Stardust Particles truly existed within them, then the greatest difference between a real and a simulated Divinity would have to be the Stardust Particles themselves!

With this idea in mind, Su Mo began his research.
