Gerald moved towards Flashy while being covered with shadows all over his body.

But before he could get to Flashy, he had to deal with someone worse.

Pablo.

"Get out of my way. It's between father and son." Gerald barked.

"Your daughter calls me daddy too."

Gerald's eyes widened.

"How do you know my daughter? Wait. Where are they? Where are my children?"

Pablo pointed at Flashy. "You have one right there."

"No. The good ones."

"Damn. Your father knows how to joke, Flashy."

"Tell him the truth, boss. He is not weak. You will have problems dealing with him."

Gerald lunged at Pablo.

Pablo dodged and kicked Gerald.

THAAM!

Gerald flew far away.

Pablo looked at Flashy.

"You were saying something?"

Flashy opened his mouth but then shook his head.

"Nevermind. Just tell him what went on for all these years. He will remember it… probably."

"Sure."

"How can you even touch me? No one can touch my shadows!"

Pablo shrugged his shoulders. "Ask your shadows yourself."

"I will."

Gerald muttered something under his breath and one shadow came beside his ear.

As time went on, Gerald's eyes widened.

"You… you.." He stuttered.

But Pablo spoke first.

"Fuck that. Did you seriously talk to a shadow just now?"

"...Yes."

"And it answered you back?"

"Yes."

"I was joking about asking your shadows. I didn't mean you to actually do that. What is wrong with you?"

"What is wrong with you?" Cupid shouted out of nowhere. "Why are you joking? You are not serious about this at all."

'Of course I am not serious. His shadows aren't affecting me and I can wipe the floor with him. So I am just having fun right now.'

Cupid rolled her eyes. She had no further argument. Pablo was technically right. Gerald had yet to pose a threat to Pablo.

Meanwhile, Gerald clenched his jaw.

"You are annoying, kid."

"What did your shadows tell you anyway? Stay away from the sun? Or stay away from your son? I think you mistook sun as son and threw Flashy out."

"That's a really bad one." Cupid said.

'Oh yeah? Then I have another joke.'

"What?"

'You.'

"What!?"

'You are a joke of an angel. That's why.'

"You imbecile. I hate you and I will.."

Pablo already ignored her and diverted his attention back at Gerald who was also irritated.

"My shadows told me that you are already familiar with shadows. That you have already gone inside them and came back. That's why they couldn't do anything to you."

"Oh? Then your power is useless against me."

'It's probably because of Draxus. I lived more inside the shadows than rooms for a couple of these days.'

Pablo figured out the reason and Gerald didn't really like Pablo's remarks.

"My shadows may not be useful against you, but my experience is."

FWISH!

Gerald vanished from his spot.

Pablo remained calm. He stayed in one place.

SHRILL!

CLACK!

Pablo moved Colt.

He only placed it behind his head, not even turning around himself.

And he didn't just hit the air.

Colt definitely stopped something.

Metallic sound had rang and it came because Colt had stopped another sword.

Another sword that was held Gerald.

He had appeared behind Pablo, hoping from a surprise attack but he was the one who got surprised instead.

Pablo smiled.

He looked over his shoulder.

"You were saying something about experience, old man?"

Gerald's eyes widened.

"Who.. who are you?"

"It's high time I tell you about that."

Pablo finally turned around.

"But for that, you have to stay put."

Pablo held Gerald's shadow covered hand and yanked the sword out of his grip.

He also called back Colt.

Now both men had no swords.

Pablo looked at Gerald from head to toe and nodded.

"Like I thought. You compensated your broken leg by the shadows. Nice."

"Leave me!"

"Shut up."

Pablo waited for nothing and held both of Gerald's hands.

Twisted both wrists of Gerald.

He didn't even care about shadows. The shadows were still around Gerald and yet, Pablo twisted his wrists like rotten wood.

And of course, he wasn't done.

After the wrists, Pablo moved above.

"Now your elbows. It'd be easier if I cut your limbs but sadly, I can't do it. I am bound by some camaraderie, you see."

Pablo didn't wait for any reply and…

CRACK!

He twisted both elbows of Gerald inside out. In the opposite direction.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaa!!"

Gerald couldn't hold back his scream this time and Flashy only hoped Pablo doesn't go overboard.

Gerald was in pain and Pablo chose to make the old man more unstable or miserable.

First, he manually peeled off the shadows from Gerald's legs and the shadows ran away as well. The fear for Pablo was too much for them.

Now Gerald's legs were in full show and Pablo certainly won't waste the chance.

But since the shadows were off from Gerald's legs, the old man fell on one knee because Pablo had already broken one of his legs before.

"Now the other one and then we can talk."

Pablo raised his leg and kicked Gerald's knee.

And as a result, Gerald fell on his knees, quivering in pain.

Pablo walked towards him and positioned him in such a way that he could see Flashy in front of him.

After that, he laid Gerald and sat above him.

Then, Pablo sighed.

"You have got a lot of spunk for an old man."

"I am only 67 years old."

"That's what an old man is."

"Why are you doing this? Who are you? What will you get from all of this?"

"I am telling you. Just lie down and listen. Don't call shadows and all for a while."

"Bark!"

"Just say what you have to say!"

Pablo nodded.

"Your memories are hazy so it'd be bad to tell you something shocking. So I will start with something easy."
