Creation: Book 3: Strandbinder Complete!

Howdy folks,

AbnormalVAverage here. I just wanted to hop in and show off some cool stuff I'm working on. First, we have the new seperator:

You can see it above. Do you like it, not like? Awww, who cares. I like it, and I had a good time making it.

Secondly, I never realized there was a header option in paying for Author Premium. Am I a premium author? Debateable, but I enjoyed making that as well. You can see it above, and it holds several images that have been key to many of the chapters throughout the series.

I'm sure all of you recall when I first started writing this that it would be one book. Well, that went out of the window. It's too damn long and it's going to be longer. I'm a little shy of two-months ahead on Patreon, and I gotta tell you, I think this is a four-book series a.k.a. a Saga. I wanted to keep it "shortish" but that's just not possible with the way the story is shaping and all of the little minutia I have to add in. For instance, you're about to hit the Strand play-time for Walker, where he works out how Cosmic resources work. It takes a good amount of time, but I have a ton of fun writing it, so, again, it's whatever.

Sure, there's an actual plot to Creation, one I know within my mind-skull, but these little sidetrips, I feel, add so much Dimensionality to the whole thing.

I've also been working on a slideshow that breaks down how the different strands will work. While the imagery is complete, the writing isn't. That is certainly a work in progress, but I've found creating the images as a reference for how I want them to work, and tweaking them over and over again for exactly that, to be quite helpful. It's a standard google slides link. Shouldn't be any spoilers, really, but if you're worried about that I don't suggest reading it:

I'm also working on the following:

A document breaking down how skills work

A document breaking down how professions work

A document breaking down how masteries work

A document breaking down titles

A document breaking down the forthcoming Mount system (likely in book four)

If you're wondering why I'm making all of these. It's because they make it an easy reference point for me. I still need to make character sheets on google so I can easily track updates for my future peoples in Grey and the books that follow. Thus far, here's the list of books I have party plotted out.

Book 1: Symphony: The Alpha Protocol or Creation, I'm not sure which yet

Book 2: Symphony: Displacement

Book 3: Symphony: The Conservatory (Temp name)

Book 4: Symphony: The Creator Wars (Temp name but likely to stick. Includes battles 3, 4, 5, and the end)

Book 5: The Boy and the Stick

Book 6: Grey: Seeding

Book 7: I Am A Bastard Sword

Book 8: Grey: Gains

Book 9: I Am Magic

Book 10: Grey: Disruption

Book 11: I Am A City

This is where Grey continues to move on, and I have another series that gets spliced in. Sum total of books in the series right now is at about 25. Is that a bit much? Sure. But I'm planning very long-term for this. Also, each book will have a slightly different writing style. For Creation a.k.a. Symphony, it's more about exploration of skills, abilities, and how to create. For The Boy and the Stick or TBatS, it's about survival. For Grey, it's about navigating how the world works...for the first three.

Anyways, a big amount of words to say I'm working hard over here, and I hope everyone is enjoying the story. Hope this doesn't distract too much for those of you who like to splurge your reading all at once.
