Chapter 5:A system huh

i stared into the black sky with my hands clawing At my throat as i struggled gasping for a single breath of air. But not even a slight breeze filled my lungs, maybe it was due to the large gaping hole sat at the center of my chest.

My vision began to fade as the thought of dying twice ran across my mind.

Eventually i had finally lost consciousness but i had managed to catch of glimpse of a familiar face.

"Br.....brother!?".

I said as the last stretch of air escaped through my lungs rendering me unconscious.

I was born with a twin but he was a little different, he had red hair and blue eyes and he had an unusual facination in computer tech and all that. When I realised that the whole world seemed to go according to my will including him I stopped taking school snf studying seriously, but he went to school daily and read books.

Aside from that we were still pretty close. We did everything together, and we loved doing them, At least thats what i thought.

When we turned 13 he seemed to be obsessed with knowing the reason why everyone just did what i wanted and never had a mind of their own.

But that's when we encountered the coby kate documentary, the only known serial killer in all of smilesville. Not the real name just a joke.

I honestly dont know the real name, probably because i never cared.

Either way, after watching it over and over, he noticed that after every murder cobe committed his almost CGI smile seemed to fade more and more.

This lead him to one revelation, he would either kill me or someone else to end the torture. This drew him to madness and we eventually grew apart slowly, on a rainy day in the middle of the night he came up to my room knife in hand with tears dripping from his eyes as he wore that creepy smile, he then proceeded to stab right into my chest, before his body began glitching heavily.

Luckily i survived it, but my brother had already ran away from home and town.

After a few months he committed the largest crime in history. He killed over 67 kids in my high school with nothing but his bare hands and a few teachers he ran and was never heard of again.

Alright enough with my past lets get back to the present.

As i opened my eyes i no longer saw the destroyed dystopia i was in before. I saw quite a nice room with beautiful portraits and a nice scenery.

I looked down and saw my chest covered with bandages that had a little blood stain on them.

I attempted to sit up but the pain got the better of me so i just layed back down.

A few seconds later my brother walked in with a sword in hand and a grin on his face.

I forced my self to stand as i fought the immense pain that came from the center of my chest.

Blood oozed from my mouth as i grabbed a side table before i said.

"You fucking cunt, so you finally decided to show your face again huh".

"Hey hey!, you cant blame me for what happened 5 years ago, i was desperate do you know how it feels to live with the notion that everything you live for is just apart of someone else's life".

"You know what i don't know how it feels like but i thought we were brothers, i thought it was me and you".

"It was, and it still can be".

He said as he grabbed my arm. I thugged my arm away as i continued.

"Hey, don't give me that gay shit. You can't just make it right when you want to. And did you ever think of coming, to umm i dont know apologize for trying to kill me".

"Look you can hate me all you want later but for now you have shut up and rest. So later you can go kill our mom or whatever is left of her".

"So you really don't regret it in even the slightest", I said as I looked down

I scoffed as i began clapping while saying.

"Wow son of the year".

We both laughed a little before i remember that the hand i was using to support my self was no longer supporting myself.

I fell to on the bed in pain before my brother helped me back up to my feet.

I shoved him away as i sat on the bed.

"This doesn't mean I've forgiven you, I will surely still kill you, or at least stab you back".

"Yeah i know".

He said as he left the room leaving me alone.

But now that i was alone it gave me some time to think and i remembered the one thing that annoyed me in all my fights.

Those stupid message that kept popping up.

I didn't know how to open it since i had never really seen anything like this so i just thought of a computer, and obviously that didn't work i thought of a phone but that didn't work either, but then i thought of that message.

But then i thought of those status windows i normally saw in manga.

And i thought of that, a whole blue rectangular weird ass looking window appeared in from of me.

That sneaky bastard i knew that he was hiding something, but aside from that Judging by the recent occurrences, i could tell that the curruptions were probably my abilitys, and i seemed to have alot of them, but what riddled me the most was those quest messages, not that it was a bad idea, but whats with the vintage name. Cant it just be like mission or something and I didn't receive any rewards from them aside from the 5 points, and a penalty, maybe I could score a goal.

But all jokes aside i was pretty bewildered by the fact that i had those systems like the ones in manga.

But while i was doing all this i suddenly notice a gold pendant embeded in the middle of my chest. , but it didn't hurt.

And it didn't seem to want come of, so i just left it be. I'll probably pull it out eventually.

I layed back and got a little more comfortable but thats when i saw the message.

[Penalty for quest failure will now be begin].

Immediately i fell unconscious as i found my self in a pitch black void.

It seemed to have a ground since i was standing and all my injuries had been healed.

But even with my body fully healed i felt an overwhelming presence that made me tremble.

Out of the darkness i saw a pitch black entity with long legs and arms nothing in its body was visible except from his pure white teeth. Its incredible hight and weird stature reminded me vividly of slenderman. But like scarier.

But while i was chilling in the penalty zone victor had been standing outside the building with another girl. She wore all purple, a purple lipstick, jacket, gean shorts , even her boots were purple.

She seemed to be holding a spear and wore the same excited expression that lucy had when she was fighting that dude.

And i won't lie she and lucy looked unnaturally similar.

"So what are we doing out here victor?".

"Shhh Vicki, just be quiet and watch". He said as he pulled out his sword.

A few moments later hundreds of glitches could be seen running towards them with my mother leading the charge with that annoying grin.

She saw the figure that stood before her as she said.

"Victor is that you?, oh victor don't protect that boy i know his still alive and with you, just hand him over so i can skin him alive then I'll let you live".

"You know what mother, ryan was right all these years you always were good at being a bitch or was it a dog". he said as he pulled out his blade.

Vicki stood there confused with her spear in hand. But judging from victors expression she knew that it wasn't a joke.

She smiled as she stared at him for the go ahead.

"No vicki it's not your turn to kill. Just go in grab those two and move out of this city I'll meet you at the edge".

"Urgh your no fun V". She murmured as she went in and carried both of us on her shoulders. And i was shocked by the beastly strength she possessed.

As she grabbed us and began running, my mom noticed and attempted to intercept us, as she turned her head she was suddenly met with the sight of the dirt up really close. her body slumped over as her head met the cold ground.

But her decapitated head only gave a smile.

Meanwhile i had been in the penalty zone for a few seconds now before i saw the message.

[Warning: chances of wining are 10000 to 1, if you can knock down your opponent addition rewards will be given, but main quest survive for 15 seconds is almost complete]

"Damn i have zero chance of winning, best to just stall him". I thought too myself.

The monster had just been standing, up until now. But it finally decided to sit.

"Hey, umm i dont know if you can understand me but are we gonna fight orrrr".

It said.

"Sorry what!"

"Ohh sorry this should be better, you understand now human".

"Yeah but why have you just been sitting there this whole time and whats up with your weird ass language".

"I know that you are trying to stall for time because you are certain of your faith if you attempt to fight me, so i will let you go this once but if you come here again i will not show mercy again, but just so you remember that mercy is different from stupidity i will leave you with a warning".

I suddenly felt a buckiling pain coming from my chest. I looked down to see a giant gaping hole at the center of my chest.

"Of fucking course the same god damn place what happened to mercy".

I said before i fell through the pitch black ground as i returned to my original body. All my wounds had been healed but a scare had been left by the punch.
