Kaizoku, still struggling to keep his head up, desperately thought of a way to survive. "...Huh!? Yeah... That's it..."

With all his strength, Kaizoku lifted his head and chest, forcing Taki to momentarily stop pressing down on the back of his head.

As Taki step back a little, Kaizoku pulled Destion from his revolver holster and placed it right in front of his forehead.

Predictably, Taki stomped on his head again, but now Kaizoku didn't have to hold back. Destion acted as a shield, cushioning his face from the fast-moving chainsaw.

Sparks flew as the chainsaw clashed with Kaizoku's revolver. Taki noticed the sparks. "Huh!?"

But it was too late. Kaizoku managed to pull Destion's trigger, firing a teleport bullet to the side, aiming at a distant, massive tree.

As Kaizoku teleported away, Taki's own foot got caught by her chainsaw. "Grrr..."

Now far away from Taki, Kaizoku opened Destion's cylinder and loaded his last teleport bullet. "Heh... Space Skip!"

Kaizoku aimed Destion at Taki and fired the teleport bullet again. After successfully teleporting right in front of her, he delivered a powerful punch straight to Taki's face.

The force of the punch sent Taki flying, giving Kaizoku time to focus on crafting one final bullet for Destion before she recovered.

Though Kaizoku felt immense pain, as if his soul was being drained, he successfully created the last bullet and loaded it into his revolver.

Just as Kaizoku finished loading, Taki stood up, her face calm but filled with rage. "I didn't expect you to have a brain after all... You're not as dumb as I thought."

Kaizoku replied weakly, exhausted from everything they had been through. "You mean muscle without brains? Heh, I've got both enough to kill you..."

The right front section of Kaizoku's hair turned white.

Taki noticed his hair change color. "Ah... It seems you're not immune to the curse..."

Taki rushed forward at incredible speed, throwing a punch with her right hand straight into Kaizoku's stomach. Unable to dodge, Kaizoku spat out blood from the impact.

She followed up with a kick to his chin, sending him flying upward.

As Kaizoku soared through the air, Taki leaped after him, grabbing his head and slamming him into the ground with tremendous force.

Taki watched Kaizoku lying motionless and laughed maniacally. "Oh, kid... You'll die unconscious..."

She turned and walked toward her chainsaw, still stuck in the ground. But to her surprise, Kaizoku appeared behind her, pointing Destion at her head.

With a calm voice and a face covered in wounds, Kaizoku spoke. "Your biggest mistake is... not killing me right away."

He pulled the trigger, shooting a bullet straight into the back of Taki's head as she reached for her chainsaw.

The bullet pierced through her skull, leaving a hole that exited the front of her head.

The fight ended with Kaizoku's victory, killing Taki with a shot to the back of her head.

Kaizoku then heard the loud ringing of a bell again, he closed his eyes. When the sound faded, Kaizoku opened the eyes to find himself back on the snowy mountain, alone.

In a weakened voice and with deep pain, Kaizoku called out, searching for someone. "Sylphy? Eve? Gabriel? Where are you..."

Despite his efforts, Kaizoku eventually decided to sit down and rest in front of a tree, waiting for help or to reunite with his friends.
