Chapter 76
"Tssk, Zarek, after we got home you will have to train for a month... As a Rank1 Master Swordsman, you can't even stop a lowly monster." Said a person, who was flying in the air. Looking at the two headless monsters on the ground. The two headless monsters were the two thief.
"I'm sorry father, I will surely train after we got home." Zarek apologizes to his father, he continued. "But Father, these creatures are weird. When I'm fighting these two thieves, they have so many skills for a monster. And the way they fight is like they don't care about their life, and would go for mutual destruction."
Zarek count at least three skills the two thieves used. Zarek felt like he was fighting a highly trained assassin of some kingdom, rather than the barbaric monsters. As a Rank1 master swordsman, he felt trouble fighting the two thieves.
"Stop your nonsense, I don't care about that monsters... Right now, we need to go back immediately, I have evidence in my hands right now, that the Russo family has been trading with the monsters... This family has been expanding their influence too fast, and not giving respect to our family. So they need to be reminded, who is the boss of this place." Zarek's father explains, with a big smile plastered on his face.
"Yes, Father." He said and looked for the place where Black had escaped. Then looked at the two headless monsters on the ground. The two thieves looked like mutated rats, however, they have small horns on their foreheads. He didn't know what kind of race they were, however, the monster race has a lot of bizarre races. So, he didn't think of anything suspicious.
After looking carefully, and imprinting in his brain the racial traits of the two, he then followed his father.

"Hmmm..." Lily slowly opened her eyes, looking around, Lily found herself still in the forest. Furthermore, she was now on the ground. As though she remembered something, she tried to fly, her body still aches from the impact.
After some time, she finally succeeded. The first thing she does was to look around, Lily become nervous when she didn't saw Black. However, she found a trail of blood, She followed that trail with nervousness.
Shortly after, Lily found Black, lying on the ground unconscious. With a bunch of normal Beasts around, clearly dead.
"Aaah, Uncle Black." She immediately flies towards Black in a hurry. She was relieved to see that Black's chest was still pumping. Furthermore, the wound was not gushing with blood anymore. So, he can still be saved.
"Uncle Black!!, wake up!!" She tried to wake up Black by jumping on him, however, the latter didn't make a sound and still unconscious.
Glistening tears welled up in her eyes, after failing to wake him up. As though she remembered something, Lily goes through the map in her mind, trying to find where her location was. Shortly after, she wipes her tears with his piggy leg, then said.
"Just wait here, Uncle Black. I will go back to the village, and get some help." Lily then flies out in the village direction.
------------
Right now, Fendrel was in school. Gioz told him that they finally created the project he gives to them. Well, what Fendrel wanted them to create was a lamp powered by a fire elemental core. His house was just too dark for him, with just a candle as a source of light.
So, upon finding out that he can create things using elemental cores. He asked Gioz if he can create a thing, like a lamp powered by elemental cores. Gioz told him that there was a similar item, used by demi-humans.
However, it's been a long time since Gioz created something. So, he needs a little time to experiment. He has some basic understanding of rune-maker, so making a basic artifact shouldn't be a problem. Moreover, the thing that His Majesty wanted him to make was just a basic rune artifact, no, not even a basic, but lowest of the lowest artifact.
"So, where is that artifact?" Fendrel asked.
Right now, they were in some kind of lab room, where Gioz experiments with things. Since then, when Fendrel found out that Gioz was a rune-maker. He supported him, with all he got. He doesn't have a clue, about the rune-maker. However, it looks promising to him, in which, can help his kingdom in the future.
Gioz retrieves a thing from somewhere and placed it on the table.
"Here, Your Majesty. It's a lamp powered by a fire elemental core... Your Majesty, every Tier 1 elemental core, can last up to one month." Gioz said.
"En..." Fendrel nodded, he picked up the lamp to take a closer look. The lamp exterior was the same as the normal lamp. Whereas the inside has a small ball-like object, with runic writing around it.
"So, how can you turn this thing on?" Fendrel asked.
"Ahm... Your Majesty, you need to put your finger on that little runic." Gioz said, then point at the rune as big as a thumb, in the outside of the lamp.
Fendrel put his finger on the rune, just like Gioz said. Shortly after, miraculously the lamp began to light up. The lamp was soo bright, as bright as the bulb in his previous life. However, the light's color was kind of orange. Nonetheless, it still a great source of light, than the candle.
"Good job, our village won't be that dark anymore. You greatly contributed yet again to the village." Fendrel praised him, praising him with cheap words was the only thing he can do for now. However, if things become stabilize, the first person he will reward would be Gioz.
"It's my pleasure to help Your Majesty." Gioz said with sincerity.
As though Fendrel remembered something, he asked. "Gioz can you put this thing into a ball that can be attached to the ceiling." He wanted to make this thing like a light bulb.
"Ohh... That's a good idea, Your Majesty. However, Your Majesty the rune to activate the lamps would be a little tricky." Gioz said.
"Can't you put it in another place? Aside from the lamp?" He asked.
"Hmm..." Gioz becomes silent, shortly after he said uncertainly. "I have an idea, Your Majesty. However, I don't know if this will work."
"It's okay, take you time. I think this lamp would be enough for now." Fendrel said, then told him not to overwork himself.
"I will, Your Majesty."
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Shortly after, the door opened. It was Lavender, with a gloomy face.
"Your Majesty... We have a problem."
