25.chapter 25
George's hands were trembling. He put his fingers on the end of Al's nose and relaxed after feeling the weak breathing. Al was now as pale as a dead man, and George almost didn't dare to move him, fearing that any movement would cause harm to him; but it was obvious that he couldn't stay in this place for long, and who knew if there was only one monster like that just now.
George stood up despite the pain radiating from all parts of his body. One of his ears was still buzzing and he couldn't hear anything. He hoped he wouldn't be deaf. George leaned over and picked up Al. Al was very light. George used to hold him easily, but now it was extremely laborious, as if he was not holding Al, but Fred.
He looked around. He didn't know how far away they were from where they had just come in. George had to find where they came in in order to return to Hogwarts through the secret passage. During his hasty escape just now, George could only instinctively think of the rice company rules he had read in a book before: turn right when you see any fork in the road. He remembered that they made six turns while escaping. They turned left when they encountered a fork in the direction they came from. He wondered if they could go back.
George held Al in his arms and took a few steps in the direction he came from. Al's hat had long since fallen off, and his blond hair was swaying with George's movements. The dead will-o'-the-wisp beast was still lying in the middle of the road he had to pass. A smell mixed with the smell of blood and metal filled his nose. George frowned and carefully walked around the giant beast. Its legs were still twitching, and even though George hadn't seen many mechanical machines, he could tell that this guy was not a naturally occurring species.
This is much more dangerous than the magical creatures in the Forbidden Forest. They must show it off to Fred if they can really come back alive. George thought in amusement.
Although there was unspeakable pain all over his body, George still started to jog, not wanting to waste a second. We need to go back to Hogwarts quickly and find Madam Pomfrey.
Meanwhile, in the Slytherin cellars.
Gryffindor defeated Hufflepuff, and Slytherin's House Cup was not as firmly in their hands as before. Therefore, the atmosphere in Slytherin was not very good, except for Draco, who was sitting at the table in his dormitory, writing homework, humming an unknown song, and the writing on the parchment was more than three and a half feet long.
Harry had won, and he wished he was even happier than Harry himself.
The only drawback is that Al, the little villain, doesn't know where to go to play. He also wants to share the joy with his younger brother.
Draco had a plate of biscuits sent by Narcissa in his hand. Draco had just picked up a piece and put it into his mouth when suddenly he shuddered and felt a sharp pain in his heart, almost biting his tongue.
The blood all over his body rushed to the top of his head as if boiling, but his chest felt empty, as if something important had been lost.
Draco stared blankly at Al's empty bed, and there was no movement for a while.
George was once again grateful that he was a wizard who loved exploring. He had an excellent sense of direction and a good ability to memorize terrain. Otherwise, he would have been lost in the Forbidden Forest with Fred countless times.
After turning a few corners, the road in front of him became familiar. George quickened his pace, and the buzzing in his ears gradually weakened. It seemed that the deafness caused by the explosion was only temporary.
After turning another corner, we should reach the secret passage. George was overjoyed. However, just after running a few steps, a black figure suddenly passed in front of George. George's attention was suddenly distracted. He was shocked and stumbled. Towards the ground, he didn't forget to protect Al's head with his hands when he fell to prevent him from getting hurt.
The black shadow stopped in front of George. It was in the shape of a beetle. Having learned from the past experiences of the Griever, George did not think it was a natural creature or a magical creature. If Al was still awake, he could tell George that this was a "blade beetle" created by Wicked WICKED specifically to monitor the boys trapped in the maze.
This entire maze was built by the Wicked organization. Solar flares destroy human civilization and bring about "The Flare". People infected with the Flare will turn into madmen and the walking dead. In order to find a vaccine and antidote to cure "The Flare" and save humanity, wicked put a group of children who were immune to the Flare into a maze, created various dangerous variables, and studied the children's brain waves. In order to find an antidote, this organization disregarded any humanity and used a group of children who were immune to the Flare as guinea pigs, trampling on their lives wantonly.
And now, George and Al have been discovered by Wicked.
George knew nothing of this at the moment. He got up from the ground, picked up Al again, and ran towards the secret passage.
After turning another corner, he finally saw the black hole in the wall, big enough for two children to crawl through side by side. While running towards the secret passage, he suddenly heard a rumbling sound coming from somewhere.
Such a sound was very strange. George had never heard it before. He ran over, first lifted Al up and stuffed him into the secret passage. He was careful not to let Al's head hit the wall. Just when he let Al lie down completely in the secret passage, and when he was about to climb over, there was a sudden sound from behind George. There was a burst of noisy footsteps.
George turned around suddenly and saw a group of Muggles in white coats running over from the other side of the road. The leader was a woman. The light was too dim and George couldn't see her face clearly. He could only tell that she was no longer old. Smaller.
This woman was followed by several Muggles, both male and female, each holding a handful of things. George couldn't identify what they were, but he had an intuition that those things were very dangerous.
George took out his wand and pointed the tip of the wand at those people, as if facing a formidable enemy.
Already seen on the monitor, Al defeated a ghost fire beast with a wand. The woman waved her hand, and the Muggles behind her put down their weapons; she showed George a kind smile and said: " Hello, I’m Ava, what’s your name and where did it come from?”
George didn't speak, his instinct prevented him from responding to any of Ava's words, and the tip of the stick was still pointed at her without letting up. He was thinking whether it would be faster to use their weapons or climb into the secret passage by himself.
Of course, the weapon is fast, and you can figure it out with your butt.
George's left hand slipped into his pocket.
Ava keenly noticed George's movements. Seeing that George was not ready to cooperate, she turned her head slightly and whispered: "Shoot."
There was a "bang", and at the same time as the muzzle of the researcher next to Ava flashed with lightning, George suddenly threw the thing in his hand towards the group of people opposite.
Amidst the shocking explosion, George, who was under the gun, suddenly turned towards the entrance of the secret passage.
