The Scale Frog Alien Clan had excavated rock caves of various sizes on the mountainside, with the larger ones accommodating two to three people standing side by side and the smaller ones so cramped that one had to stoop to enter.

The size of the caves generally reflected the status of their occupants.

Those among the Scale Frog Alien Clan who were of the lowest status lived in naturally smaller and shallower caves, barely large enough to house two or three individuals.

However, the caves inhabited by Scale Frog Alien Clan magicians were dug larger and deeper, not only accommodating the magician themselves but also their spouses, offspring, and slaves.

Among these caves, the one belonging to a second-order superior magician was the largest and deepest.

This cave was located in the central region of the mountainside; its entrance stood at eight feet tall and stretched over ten feet wide, with a wooden platform extending outwards in front of it, linked by a wooden walkway.

Standing on this wooden platform, one could gaze out at the vast expanse of the undulating waters of Dragon Abyss Marsh from a vantage point, truly a remarkable location.

But Zhou Chun had no interest in admiring these sights right now.

After he and Envoy Wu landed on the platform, they immediately rushed into the cave, swiftly descending the steps and advancing towards the depths of the cave.

As they entered, a continuous heavy rumbling echoed from the depths, obviously a fierce magical combat raging within.

This only heightened the anxiety already present in Zhou Chun and his companion, causing their pace to subconsciously slow down.

"Envoy Zhou, who do you think is fighting with the Fourth Protector inside? Could it be a third-order Scale Frog Alien Clan magician?"

As they moved forward, Envoy Wu's voice transmission suddenly reached Zhou Chun's ear.

He paused for a moment, then replied in a low voice, "I don't know, but that is very likely!"

Upon hearing his response, Envoy Wu seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, muttering to himself, "If it's really a third-order magician, they shouldn't be a match for the Fourth Protector, right?"

He then nodded vigorously to himself, adding, "Yes, a third-order magician definitely won't stand a chance against a Purple Mansion Phase Cultivator!"

But this sort of self-hypnotizing talk did not win Zhou Chun's agreement at all.

He did not know the true strength of a third-order magician, but it was clear that the person clashing with the Fourth Protector below was no weakling!

If that were the case, the Fourth Protector wouldn't be calling for help through roars.

"Envoy Zhou, Envoy Wu, what are you dallying for? Do you wish to endanger the Fourth Protector?"

Suddenly, a stern rebuke sounded from ahead in the depths of the cave.

It turned out to be Guo Chen, who had entered earlier and, upon noticing the two were not following promptly, raised his voice to question them.

This rebuke effectively cornered the pair.

"This damn fool, it's bad enough that he seeks his own death, now he's dragging us into it!"

Envoy Wu couldn't help but curse under his breath and quickly picked up his pace to catch up.

It was clear that despite the anger, he understood the seriousness of not keeping up at this moment — if the Fourth Protector emerged victorious later, the consequences could be severe.

Naturally, Zhou Chun was quick to follow suit.

After catching up with Guo Chen, the three of them charged deeper into the cave and finally saw the enemy who was battling the Fourth Protector.

It was indeed a third-order Scale Frog Alien Clan magician!

However, this magician was also adept at controlling the Magic Artifacts of Cultivators, and the several artifacts in their command were tremendously powerful.

By the time Zhou Chun and the others arrived at the battlefield, the Fourth Protector was already being overpowered by the opponent.

The Underground Cave Hall where the battle took place was partially collapsing due to the clash of two third-order beings, looking quite concerning.

Noticing the arrival of Zhou Chun and the others, the Fourth Protector's face lit up with joy as he urgently cried out, "Your timing is perfect, join forces with me quickly to slay this vile creature!"

But before he could finish, the Scale Frog Alien Clan magician suddenly pointed a finger in their direction, sending a red beam of light streaking towards Zhou Chun and his companions.

Seeing this, the three quickly dodged to the side.

However, they soon realized that the red light wasn't aimed at them but rather towards the passage they had used to arrive.

The red light struck a certain spot in the passage, and immediately a thunderous noise ensued, causing the entire Underground Cave Hall to shake violently.

In the midst of this violent shaking, the passage that Zhou Chun and his companions had come through was completely sealed off by countless rocks and mud.

Seeing this, Zhou Chun and the others' faces drastically changed, and the Fourth Protector as well shouted in shock and fury, "What are you trying to do? By sealing the exit, aren't you afraid of trapping yourself with no way to escape?"

No sooner had he spoken when a grating voice rang out from the magician of the Scale Frog Alien Clan, "Why would I flee? Since I've been discovered by you scum of the Dragon Transformation Sect today, I have no choice but to bury all of you here!"

"You can speak our language!!"

The Fourth Protector was startled, staring at the Scale Frog Alien Clan magician in shock.

The Scale Frog Alien Clan magician, seeing his shocked expression, suddenly let out a sinister giggling, "Ga ga ga, surprised, are you? Wait until you're dead, and I will tell you even more!"

As the words left the magician's mouth, he suddenly puffed out his cheeks, then let out a loud croak.

Gua!!

A croaking sound like thunder exploded in an instant, causing Zhou Chun and the others' eardrums to burst and their consciousness to become confused, falling into a momentary stunned state.

Even the Fourth Protector, a Purple Mansion Phase Cultivator, experienced a brief moment of stupefaction.
