Chat Group: Traits, Gacha, and Crossovers

Chapter 111: Everyone’s Daily Routine

— — — — — —

The battle between the Web and HYDRA in Sokovia went pretty much exactly as expected.

There were no real surprises.

That team of the eight girls—including both Black and White Widows, Natasha and Yelena—had all completed the full Red Room training and enhancements. Honestly, drop them into any battlefield and they'd qualify as street-level superheroes… or maybe villains.

Their combat suits? Top-tier. Designed for maximum protection and explosive bursts of power, they could boost a normal human's strength and speed by ten times when pushed to the limit.

Even just that made them a force to be reckoned with—enough to go toe-to-toe with this particular HYDRA base.

Now imagine their leader (Gwen) is a woman who can scan the entire battlefield the moment she activates her Observation Haki, swat away a 30-ton tank like a fly, and punch through "nuke-resistant" defenses with her bare hands.

Yeah. It wasn't much of a fight.

From start to finish, the only thing HYDRA managed to pull off at their Sokovia headquarters was this one minor "win": they tricked a test subject into joining them, promising she could get revenge on Stark Industries.

When things went south, the girl panicked and lost control, unleashing a burst of red energy that sent Yelena flying and dimmed part of her combat suit's power controls.

The test subject's name? According to her ID tag: Wanda Maximoff.

Didn't matter, though—Natasha took her down in a flash with a stealth taser strike, knocking her out cold with a high-voltage zap.

Battle over. Smooth and clean.

Right after that, Gwen signaled the rest of the Web operatives who were already stationed across different locations. They immediately launched cleanup operations to eliminate any remaining HYDRA outposts around Sokovia.

Meanwhile, the team at HQ started recovering all the files HYDRA hadn't had time to destroy—planning to upload everything to their underground network.

『Lady Avalon』: Wow… this whole mission… you guys aren't even pretending to play fair anymore.

『Lady Avalon』: @ChatGroupSystem Admit up! Is Veyron-kun bribing you or what?!

『Catwoman』: I second a full investigation!

『Earth's Cancer』: Thirded!

『Hellish Blizzard』: +1

『Ordinary Human』: ...

The chaos in the group chat kicked off when the mission ended and the system started its post-battle settlement phase.

The results? Pretty much exactly what Gwen had hoped for.

Since the fight was between "The Web" and "HYDRA," even though some of the group members didn't participate directly, they still had official affiliations with The Web—so the system awarded them 10,000 points total.

But the way those points got distributed… wasn't quite what anyone expected.

Most people assumed that since nobody really joined the mission hands-on, the points would just get divided equally. Fujiwara Chika even asked once, "If it's 10,000 split among six people, how does the system handle the decimals?"

Well. The system didn't go that route.

It gave Veyron 5,000 points.

Then Chika, Merlin, Hancock, Selina, and Fubuki? Each got 1,000.

Same as the last settlement, basically. Veyron got half. The other half was split equally among the remaining five.

『Hellish Blizzard』: Maybe it's because none of us have gone back to that world since last time? So the system just stuck with the previous contribution?

『Snake Empress』: That would make sense.

『Catwoman』: Wait, hold on.

『Catwoman』: If that's the case, what about Natasha and the other spider-girls? They were all wearing combat suits based on my original Gantz_Auits design. Why did I only get the same 1,000 points as everyone else?

『Cancer of Earth』: Maybe it's because the handoff happened on Rusukaina Island in Hancock's world, not on Earth-∞?

『Catwoman』: ...

When you rule out the more absurd theories… that actually kinda tracks.

『Catwoman』: Anyway, whatever. I'm heading out to cool off.

『Lady Avalon』: ??

『Lady Avalon』: You? The lazy cat?

『Catwoman』: I dropped over ten million the other day on some auctioned jewelry. If I don't go show it off to Harleen, Pamela and the girls, what's the point?

『Catwoman』: Gotta make the money mean something.

...

Harleen Frances Quinzel is a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum and one of Gotham's more infamous criminally insane. Yup, she's the future Harley Quinn.

And besides Pamela, she's the only person who knows both of Selina Kyle's identities—the civilian Selina and the thief Catwoman.

Unlike Pamela Isley—who had an accident, got pumped full of plant-based toxins, turned green, gained control over plants, and started going by Poison Ivy—Harleen is just… a completely normal human being.

Well, for now.

After Selina logged off, the chat quieted down.

Gwen was swamped managing the inner workings of The Web.

Sure, Natasha made for a great second-in-command. Having lost her family as a child, she'd grown to treat the Web like her new home ever since joining.

She saw the girls from the Red Room as sisters, and she was honestly more devoted to the organization than Gwen herself. With her skills and initiative, Gwen could leave most of the day-to-day stuff to her.

Still, they'd just taken down a major Hydra base—it wasn't the kind of moment you could just delegate. Some things needed Gwen's personal touch.

Hancock, being the ruler of an actual nation, was equally buried in government work. Once she was free, she planned to head over to Eientei to get her Sharingan checked by the legendary doctor, Eirin Yagokoro.

In the same world, Merlin was busy helping Artoria with the endless administrative chaos in Mariejois.

As for Fubuki, she was constantly challenging monstrous villains in her own world, trying to unlock a higher level of her gene lock through real-life battles. It doubled as a great way to rack up achievements too.

Ever since she joined the Chat Group and started growing stronger thanks to the group's resources, she'd let go of that pathetic self-consolation of "Being top of B-rank still makes me number one." She was done lying to herself.

Now, she planned to face her sister—the terrifying force who'd always towered over her like an insurmountable mountain—head-on.

And after months of consistent grind, her hero rank had jumped from B-rank #1 to S-rank #13.

Only 11 spots to go until she stood toe-to-toe with the one and only "Tornado of Terror."

As for Veyron? He'd gone back to his usual half-training, half-chilling lifestyle. Spending time with Kaguya, Eirin, Inukimi, and the rest... basically a balance of self-discipline and indulgence.

A few days passed like that.

Once Hancock finally wrapped up things on Amazon Lily, she made her way to Eientei to receive a full ocular examination from the legendary Eirin Yagokoro.

Meanwhile, Fujiwara Chika, who had spent the past few days training hard and steadily mastering the powers of her Tenseigan thanks to her unlocked gene lock, said her goodbyes to Veyron and the others at Eientei—and returned to her own world.
