Chat Group : Another Fate From Honkai

Chapter 244 – Let’s Vent Our Frustration on This World’s Otto First

"Wait a second—you're basically a fusion of Kiana and Nagami, right?"

Himeko stared blankly at Kanami, who was clearly doing her best to hold back laughter, then turned toward Kiana—whose sadness was flooding like a river in reverse.

"You're seriously toying with… half of yourself from another world… and you're okay with that?"

Kiana's vacant eyes were dull and lifeless, her posture hollow and defeated—as if her life had reached the end of the road, with not a single ray of hope in sight.

She just stood there, motionless.

Even when HIMEKO called her name, all Kiana did was turn her head stiffly, like a broken machine.

"It's fine. My greatest talent is that I never go easy on myself." Kanami shrugged, smiling as he spread his hands toward Himeko.

"I probably won't ever get the chance to beat up the Otto from my original world. So… I might as well take it out on this world's Otto.

Perfect timing, without 'Nagami' in this world, every single person has been screwed over by that old bastard's schemes."

By contrast, the Otto in the Nagami World, who was practically at Nagami's beck and call because of Kallen, was another story.

If it were just Nagami, not in Kanami's current state, there would be a small part of him that actually felt bad about hitting the original Otto.

After all, in the original world, Nagami had stopped every tragedy.

Otto's schemes had basically all failed, and even Sirin's rampage had been halted early on.

Kanami lowered his head, glancing at his own hand as it flickered rapidly with light, then looked back up at Himeko.

"At this rate… I've got about ten minutes left. If I use that, it'll be down to five."

"Which means… Miss Herrscher of Flames, let's give this world's Otto a memory he'll never forget in our last five minutes~"

Seeing Himeko's lips curl into an excited grin, Kanami also turned toward HIMEKO.

His own smile slowly spread as he looked in a certain direction.

"He's watching us right now… from the headquarters not far from here~"

In a certain control room, a blond man frowned at the entirely unexpected turn of events.

But when Kanami's gaze locked onto his through what felt like time and space and his unmistakable, deliberate smile told him it was aimed directly at him—the traces of amusement still on his face froze instantly.

"Oh, right—do we have a map of Schicksal HQ?"

Kanami turned toward the two Himekos.

Without a word, HIMEKO swiftly opened her terminal and projected the entire Schicksal headquarters map in front of them.

"Here… here… and here—these are all locations where Otto stores his Soulium bodies." Kanami pointed to several inconspicuous spots on the map. "And this… is where Otto is right now."

"Time's short. Let's move!"

"No problem! That bastard Otto—finally, I get to pound him into the floor!"

Thanks to Kanami transmitting intel from the other world directly into their minds, Himeko had already built up a full tank of rage toward this Otto.

She brought her two blazing swords together, forming a greatsword engulfed in roaring flames.

Resting the weapon on her shoulder, she turned toward the marked points on the map, her neck cracking as she stretched.

"And you— do you want to warm up a bit first?"

Kanami turned to HIMEKO, tapping a slender finger lightly against her smooth forehead.

Himeko's grin froze for a split second—then widened even more.

"...Can I join in too?"

As a direct victim of Otto's actions, HIMEKO's fury was far greater than her other self's.

Though her body had healed and her Honkai energy levels had soared to many times their former strength, she had only just accepted Ji Lin's Stigmata.

There was still a small shadow of doubt in her heart.

After all, even if someone suddenly gained power, it didn't mean they'd instantly become overconfident like some "Honkai big-shot."

"Of course you can!"

That answer didn't come from the boy, but from her other self.

She turned her head toward her counterpart with a smirk.

"He already said it—it's just using Otto as rehab training. Plus… we've got this."

She held up the Gem of Haste, which had been removed earlier, and refitted it into her crimson armor.

Recalling the knowledge Kanami had just shared, Himeko's golden eyes gleamed.

For a moment, it was as if fierce flames bloomed within them.

"This is…?"

Feeling the power surging out endlessly—yet without the slightest trace of Honkai corrosion—HIMEKO gave her a puzzled look.

"As the Herrscher of Flames counterpart, you naturally have some control over the Gem of Haste from other worlds.

The gem resonates with your Herrscher core—you can temporarily use Herrscher-level power like before."

Kanami explained matter-of-factly.

"No need to hold back. Otto won't die from this."

"Perfect. Then let's go!"

The two Himekos exchanged a glance, then—without a word turned their eyes toward the smiling boy before finally fixing their gaze on Otto's location.

A luxurious Herrscher gown bloomed around Himeko like a blazing rose, the Judgement of Shamash greatsword firm in her grasp.

Beside her, clad in crimson armor glowing with molten heat, HIMEKO gripped the Godsbane sword, its flames surging wildly.

Their bodies launched forward like cannon shells, leaving behind a striking crimson trail against the blue sky and drifting clouds.

To the Herrscher of Flames, the walls ahead were nothing but air—any obstacle in her path was instantly reduced to ash by the searing heat radiating from her.

Their advance was almost unhindered.

Soon, they reached a high-tech chamber, its steel walls glinting coldly under the sterile light.

Lining the room were capsule-like pods filled with strange fluid, and what was inside would have left any ordinary Valkyrie stunned—

Every single one contained… the Archbishop of Schicksal!

"Well, I'll give it to Otto—hiding his Soulium bodies in deserted, remote locations was a smart move. But now… it means I can cut loose."

Light flared like a dying star as Himeko use Judgment of Shamash form.

"Unsheath!"

The blazing blade erupted with a roaring inferno, the air shimmering under the heat.

A solid arc of condensed flame detached from the sword's edge.

"Might of Utu!"

Seeing her counterpart start with a full-force special attack, HIMEKO's own fighting spirit ignited.

She opened with the Vermillion Knight's finishing move, the Godsbane sword blazing hotter under the near-limitless Honkai energy from the Gem of Haste.

The burning edge glowed with a searing crimson light, its ringing hum like a funeral dirge.

Flames that could melt stars burst forth, their heat cutting through the divine realm itself.

In an instant, the chamber was engulfed.

Every Soulium body inside was reduced to cinders under their combined blaze.

Two Herrschers of Flames attacking together—unless Otto's strongest Soulium body, the one capable of overpowering Welt, was here, nothing could withstand them.

"Looks like even with the gem's help, I still can't quite match you," HIMEKO admitted without a trace of envy.

"No, that's my line," Himeko said, shaking her head with genuine sincerity before giving a wry smile. "The only reason I'm doing this well is… I just got lucky."

After all, before she even needed to call on Nyx, Nagami had already been fine-tuning her body.

"Ugh, disgusting! Can't believe I just got force-fed my own couple's fluff," HIMEKO groaned, her expression twisting in mock disgust.

Still a single woman in this world, she ground her teeth and stomped on a charred Otto head that had rolled to her feet.

"No wonder you look a bit younger than me—you've found yourself a younger guy!"

When women talk, the conversation can easily drift far beyond what most men could imagine—especially when it's Himeko, the veteran rogue.

"Not quite… Maybe this is just one of the perks of becoming a Herrscher," Himeko said, scratching her head a little shyly.

Outwardly she always acted carefree, but hearing such words from herself was still… weird.

"What? You still haven't him? What the hell are you doing, other me?!" HIMEKO shook her counterpart's shoulders like a disappointed coach.

"Hey, you think I don't want to? You have no idea how popular that guy is! I can't just throw away my dignity to fight a house full of little girls for him!"

That had been her stance before. But now… maybe it was time to change that.

"St. Freya's got plenty of examples like this—what are you hesitating for?" HIMEKO pressed, speaking with the same mischief as someone stirring the pot just for fun.

And so, the two Himekos walked side-by-side, chatting and laughing, their steps leading them straight toward Otto's location.
