Weekly Chapter 2/6
Jihak merely watched Eunha as she left the room.
Yuljae, who entered the room, knelt before him.
The warrior briefly looked in the direction where Eunha had gone.
Jihak lit the pipe.
Yuljae was distracted by the dagger in Eunha’s hand. It was something Jihak had personally ordered when he was Crown Prince. He had decided to give it to his descendant.
But she held that precious dagger in her hands.
Yuljae knew that the Prince had no desire to ascend to the throne. He wanted to live his life quietly with a nobleman. The current turmoil was temporary.
That was why he believed that Jihak should build an even stronger fortress. Unless he was at the top, his life would be in danger every day.
Yuljae opened his mouth when he saw Jihak smiled as he looked out the window.
“Lord, you should leave her.”
A cold wind blew into the room.
When he raised his head, he realized that Jihak was looking at him with a smile on his face.
“I’m afraid my Lord will take that girl to his heart. She will never be able to protect him. My Lord needs a woman with a powerful family behind her.”
Though he made the request earnestly, Jihak’s expression did not change. He looked silently at Yuljae’s face, then looked out the window again.
“If the day comes when that woman becomes a problem for my Lord, I will wring her neck with my own hands. Then, if you want to save her, you must abandon her.”
“Shut your mouth.”
Yuljae said nothing more.
As the ground began to thaw, cracks naturally formed. Yuljae knew how dangerous it was to be in that place.

Eunha could not hide her joy that she had experienced freedom for the first time in a long time. Of course, there was a strict order that she could not speak to anyone, but her face lit up as she looked at the strange items in the crowd.
She was uneasy about the escort who followed her at a safe distance.
Was this a test? Or was it true freedom?
Her inclination was to dash to Master Shihoon’s residence rather than the fabric store to ensure her sister was safe.
She hadn’t heard from her since that day. But she couldn’t do that. Surely, there was a reason why she wanted to contact her on a certain day.
“She’s here.”
While walking down the street with various thoughts in mind, Eunha almost overlooked the fabric store. She entered with a shy smile on her face.
Perhaps because the sellers had increased, there was even finer silk than last time. There were too many customers inside.
Eunha looked for the owner.
“Eunha you’re here! Wait, wait.”
The owner, who was saying a long speech about silk to a customer, waved his hand with a cheerful expression.
Eunha smiled when she realized that Gari was captivated by the silk. In this place there were many beautiful women who looked like silk. There was excitement on their faces.
When Eunha was waiting for the clothes, someone approached her. It was a woman wearing beautiful white jade shoes. And behind the woman was another face she already knew.
Sohyeon, who looked embarrassed but strangely happy, made eye contact with Eunha. But the person who spoke to Eunha was a middle-aged woman.
“You are Eunha.”
“But who are you?”
The owner, who brought Eunha’s clothes wrapped up, had a puzzled expression on his face. Eunha found it challenging to engage in conversation with noble nobility, so she wanted to leave quickly with the clothes.
“Why did you come here?”
Gari came running from somewhere, then bowed to the middle-aged woman. Eunha sighed when she realized it was Jihak’s sister, whose face she hadn’t been able to see last time because it was shrouded in a veil.
“I’m going to have tea with Sohyeon… I’d like to have a cup of tea with you.”
