In Kai's ears, the voice felt childlike, of a boy's. But the changes it brought with itself were mind-boggling, to say the least.

The entire world pressed on Kai and Actaea.

The seawater fumed as if it had become a growling beast. The wind became millions of millions of wraiths, howling at him. The clouds became hundreds of thousands of swords, ready to hack him down. The space itself folded unto itself, locking everything within. Even time struggled to flow as if hooked by unseen shackles.

A storm was brewing in front of Kai… the size of a world.

The Timeline Backlash!

Captain… Actaea worded concernedly, battling the storm.

It had gone dark in front of them. The Hurricane had replaced everything. Winds with supersonic speed blasted everything. Multicolored bolts of lightning cracked the space. Fury manifested itself in the storm, taking the shape of a world's wrath.

The Game of Thrones Timeline wouldn't interfere, Kai knew.

It couldn't stop Pokemon Timeline from exacting revenge. But it wouldn't actively help it, either. Going against an Outer One, especially Nyarlathotep, wasn't a good idea for any timeline.

Once ripped off a Bubble, the timeline wouldn't survive.

On the other hand, the Outer One would only get a slap on the wrist in the face of Great Old Contract's Backlash.

No Timeline wanted that outcome.

That's why THEY had imprisoned the Soul King who had gone rogue in the Multiverse.

Still, from the widening smile on Kai's face, it didn't seem he was looking for any help.

As the sound abandoned him, replaced by the roar of the dozens of miles wife, magical hurricane, a redness appeared in Kai's left hand — The Philosopher's Stone!

Simultaneously, in the blackened sky overhead, a star shone hideously yellow — Eon Soul Dew!

"Come out…" Kai said, activating the Skill as the Philosopher's Stone began purifying the corruption crawling over his soul. "Old friend."

A yellow burst of light fell from the yellow star overhead, surrounded by a corrupt blackness.

It took the shape of a green dragon, with black fumes surrounding it like a cloak.

It was the Pokemon — Rayquaza!!!

Kai had never used the Eon Soul Dew after coming back from Island X. And the one time he did use it, it was in the Verse Fusion Random World.

The Pokemon Timeline didn't even know what were the powers of the Eon Soul Dew.

So, to see one of the creatures who IT had authority over was as shocking as what was about to happen next.

ROARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Rayquaza let out a majestic roar of might and defiance.

It coiled in the air over Actaea as if it were a corrupt, divine guardian.

The dragon looked at the world-ending Pokemon and growled in the back of its throat. Suddenly, its eyes glowed with a black-blue light.

MOVE —

As the hurricane arrived to obliterate Kai's existence, magical pulses erupted from Rayquaza as the center.

The pulses hummed, taking over all sounds.

One after another, they went to the distant skies to the deepest hells, instantly covering all the locked space and time.

Then, as if time was reversing, the hurricane began dying.

The winds lost their momentum. The waves lost their enthusiasm. The clouds their edges.

And the Pokemon Timeline screamed in anger and rage as it figured out what was going on.

[NYARLATHOTEP… NO ONE CAN SAVE YOU FROM ME!!!]

As the skies cleared up, and the weather was restored, Kai waved his hand, bringing out his mysteries and saying goodbye. "Until next time… little boy…"

— AIR LOCK!!!

Overhead, Rayquaza looked at Kai, narrowing his eyes.

Then, the Pokemon became a yellow burst of light, vanishing from sight.

With a flick of his hand, Kai took out the Eon Soul Dew that returned to his Inventory automatically.
