Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Do you really want this
He turned back to face her, his sad face turning emotionless. "What are you doing inside my room? Who permitted you in?" he asked, his voice firm.
Lira smiled and cried at the same time. "I deserve it," she whispered. "Even being banned from entering your room... I never came in, even when you tried to make me."
"But not anymore," she continued, her voice trembling. "I came to see you." Her vibrant emerald green eyes stared into his deep black ones, a slight smile on her tearful face.
Vadal's expression remained emotionless, his deep black eyes narrowing slightly. "You shouldn't be here, Lira," he stated, his voice firm but laced with a hint of vulnerability.
Lira's eyes faltered for a moment, but she stood her ground. "I came to see you," she repeated, her voice steady. "To talk to you."
Vadal's gaze lingered on Lira's tear-stained face, his resolve weakening. He turned away, his movements economical. "Say what you came to say, Lira."
Lira took a step closer, her emerald green eyes locked on Vadal's back. "I was wrong, Vadal," she whispered, her voice trembling. "About everything. About us."
Vadal's shoulders stiffened, his silence palpable.
His eyes widened, his expression frozen in astonishment. No one had ever seen him so taken aback. Lira's words cut deep, exposing the wounds he thought had long healed.
Her hand traveled up his face, tracing the contours of his features with a gentle touch. Vadal's eyes fluttered closed, his expression softening.
"I'm sorry for what I did in the past," Lira whispered, her voice trembling. "For not supporting your decisions, for making things hard for you, for choosing Laurent, for plagiarizing your company's work, for hurting you so many times, for not fulfilling my duties as a wife."
Vadal's eyes snapped open, his gaze locking onto Lira's. His eyes narrowed, surprise and confusion etched on his face.
Tears streamed down Lira's cheeks, her emerald eyes shining with remorse. Her hand continued to caress Vadal's face, her touch a stark contrast to the pain in her words.
Vadal's lips parted, but no words emerged. His mind reeled, memories of their tumultuous past flooding back. He searched Lira's face, seeking truth.
Lira's hand continued its gentle exploration of Vadal's face, her touch a stark contrast to the pain in her words. Tears streamed down her cheeks, her emerald eyes shining with remorse.
"I mean every word, Vadal," Lira whispered, her voice trembling. "I was blind, but I see now. I love you, not Laurent. I want to make it right."
Vadal's world tilted, his defenses crumbling.
"I want to fulfill my duties as a wife," she whispered, her hand sliding down his chest.
Vadal's hand stopped hers. "I don't need you to fulfill your duties to me as a wife," he said, his voice low and husky. "I only need you to love me with all your heart and soul, Lira. I didn't ask for anything except your love."
Lira's eyes locked onto Vadal's, her voice trembling. "I love you, Vadal. I really love you, not Laurent. I was blind, but I see now. I want to be yours forever."
Vadal's expression softened, his heart melting at Lira's words. He searched her face, seeking truth.
Lira's grip on Vadal tightened. "I swear, Vadal, I'll spend forever making it up to you. I'll be your wife, your partner, your everything."
Vadal's resolve crumbled. He wrapped his arms around Lira, pulling her close.
staring at her beautiful face, his eyes searching hers. "What do you want?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
"I want you, husband," Lira whispered, her voice trembling.
Vadal's heart fluttered, his chest tightening. He hadn't expected her to call him "husband" - it was the first time since they got married.
He warned, his face inches from hers, "I don't want to ever see you and your ex-lover together ever again."
A smile spread across her face. "Yes, husband," she whispered, her hand unbuttoning his shirt.
Vadal's resolve crumbled, his resistance weakening. He wrapped his arms around Lira, pulling her close.
Their lips met, sparks flying around them.
He claimed her lips, his kiss fierce and possessive. Lira's heart soared, her love for Vadal overflowing.
His hand slid down her hips, sending shivers down her spine. He lifted her off the ground, his strength enveloping her.
He carried her to the bed, gently laying her down. His eyes locked onto hers, burning with desire.
"Do you really want this?" he asked, his voice husky, giving her one last chance to change her mind.
"Yes, my love," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Vadal claimed her lips, his kiss fierce and possessive. Their bodies entwined, passion igniting like wildfire.
The room was bathed in soft, silvery moonlight, the only sound the gentle hum of crickets outside and the soft rustle of fabric as Vadal's hands moved over Lira's body. The air was heavy with anticipation, the scent of blooming flowers and desire hanging like a promise.
Lira's body arched, her back curving like a swan's neck as Vadal's lips traced her skin. Her moans were music to his ears, her sighs fueling his passion. Her clothes lay scattered, torn apart by Vadal's impatient hands.
His eyes blazed with desire, his touch igniting fires that threatened to consume them both. His lips worshiped her skin, his tongue dancing across her curves. Every caress was a promise, every kiss a vow.
The bed creaked softly, a rhythmic accompaniment to their love song. Lira's fingers tangled in Vadal's hair, pulling him closer. Their bodies moved in perfect harmony, a symphony of love and desire.
Vadal's hands grasped Lira's hips, pulling her closer as their bodies moved in perfect sync. Every thrust was a declaration of love, every kiss a promise of forever.
Lira's moans grew louder, her body trembling on the brink of release. Vadal's name escaped her lips, a whispered prayer.
Their passion crested, a tidal wave of pleasure crashing over them. Vadal's arms wrapped around Lira, holding her close as they rode the wave together.
In the stillness that followed, Vadal's lips brushed against Lira's ear. "I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too, Vadal," Lira replied, her voice barely audible.
Their hearts beat as one, their love shining bright.

Next morning.
"Ahhh"
"ouch"
Lira winced, her body aching as she stirred. Memories of the previous night flooded back, a mix of emotions swirling within. She felt... tender.
Awake" A gentle voice broke the silence.
Startled, she looks at the direction the voice is coming from.
Vadal sat on the couch his eyes fist intently on lira like a magnet. looking at her like a demon from hell.
Lira's smile was weak. "A little sore," she confessed, her cheeks flushing.
Vadal stood up, walking towards her on the bed. His hands cradled her face, his thumbs tracing her skin. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
Lira's fingers intertwined with Vadal's. "You didn't," she said softly. "It was worth it, am yours."
