Chapter 308: It's Over
Jenny is already pissed after how Harry talked to her, and how he wanted to take control over her life, and how he ordered her to not talk with her friends anymore.
She had no idea how Harry even thought that she would listen to his orders. Telling her not to talk to Amon was one thing because she can admit that she crossed the line with Amon even though she is in a relationship, but ordering her, shouting at her, telling her not to talk to her friends, anyone pushed the line.
Ember and Witney might be sluts, but they are her best friends, friends who even helped her financially when she needed it. Of course, Harry doesn't know this because Jenny never told him about it.
She couldn't believe the man Harry was turning into, and the more she thought about it, the more she started to wonder why she was even in a relationship with this man.
Not only does he not contribute financially, but he is also using the money she earns to fund his own project, promising her that when his business takes off, he will pay her back, but it's been months, and there is no sign of anything happening from Harry's side.
Jenny can't believe she has been facilitating all this for no reason. She doesn't understand why she is pushing herself so much, spending over eight hours a day, sitting before a camera, entertaining a bunch of men for money, only for most of it to be spent by her deadbeat boyfriend.
This fight seems to have given her the perspective she was missing all this time.
And now here she is, bawling her eyes out over a man who isn't the same person she fell in love with. Harry was not like this; he was a decent prospect. He had a good job, but now look at him, bitter and cruel, and also spineless because he can't bring himself to come up here and talk to her; instead sends his disgusting friend, who has always given her the creeps.
Jenny looks at Tom with a frown as he hands over his phone to her. She doesn't know what he meant by looking at it herself, but she takes his phone anyway and watches as the video plays.
Jenny's eyes widen with shock as she stares at the screen in disbelief. Unable to believe what she is seeing, she turns on the volume and hears Harry's moans.
She sees a girl bouncing on top of Harry, fucking him, as he moans and sucks on the girl's nipples.
Jenny feels her stomach twist with disgust, and tears start flowing down her cheeks once again. She can't believe Harry had to audacity to scold her about being touchy with another man when he was out there fucking other woman.
As tears streamed down her face, she didn't notice Tom get close to her and sit next to her. He then suddenly put his hand around her shoulders and said. "You shouldn't cry over someone like him. He cheated on you. He doesn't deserve someone like you," Tom says. His voice filled with sympathy.
He nailed his words. The emotion behind them, perfect. Any girl who is in such a vulnerable state would fall for this, but not Jenny. Tom never realized how much Jenny is disgusted by Tom. She even believes the reason Harry has ended up like this is because of Tom's influence.
"Get away from me, you disgusting pig!" Jenny says, and immediately gets up from the couch and away from Tom. Her eyes filled with disgust as she realized what Tom was trying to do.
Using her vulnerable state to get close to her, but she sees right through him. His coming over, showing the video of Harry cheating on her. This would have worked if Jenny was not disgusted by this man, and didn't have a desire for Amon.
"Don't you ever fucking dare touch me again!" Jenny shouts and rushes out of the apartment.
Tom, at first, is stunned, but then it hits him. He realized that he fucked up. He pushed further than he should have; he got desperate seeing how close Amon was to successfully take Jenny for himself.
All these factors led him to act out, only for Jenny to reject him cold.
"Shit!" Tom says as he realizes that Jenny ran away with his phone, and he has a very good idea where she is going.
Tom immediately rushes out and sees the elevator door closing and Jenny in it. "Jenny, wait!" He shouts, but the door is already closed, and the elevator starts heading down.
He rushes towards the elevator and presses the button aggressively over and over again, but it's no use. The elevator is already making its way down.
Seeing this, Harry takes the steps downwards to intercept Jenny and stop her.
But when Tom reaches the ground floor, he sees that Jenny is already out of the building and walking towards his car with aggressive strides.
______________________
Harry has calmed down a little after being left alone. His thoughts right now are a mix of chaotic thoughts. He feels justified, guilty, relieved, uncertain, proud, insecure; every emotion he could feel comes in and goes as he thinks of his action.
He got loud with Jenny and said things, but he doesn't know how to really feel about it. Should he feel justified because Jenny did cross the line with Amon, or should he feel guilty as he did cheat on her? Or is uncertainty the right feeling because he doesn't know what the future holds for him after this fight, or should he feel proud for finally standing up for business and not being a pushover?
As Harry tries to get control of his emotions, he turns his head and sees Jenny walking towards him with purpose. Her strides are strong, and her face is cold, devoid of any emotions, but her eyes are speaking a very different language, one of sheer anger.
Harry doesn't like this. He can see that Jenny cried a lot, but now her sadness seems to have turned into anger.
'What did Tom say to her?' Harry wonders, worried because he has never seen Jenny so furious before.
"Open the door!" Jenny shouts. Harry feels a sense of dread as he hears her scream. He can feel the anger from her resonating in his chest.
Seeing her in such an angry state, Harry doesn't feel like opening the door and letting her in.
"Open the door, dammit!" Jenny shouts again. Her scream was even louder. People who are passing by finally take notice and stop to look at what is happening.
Harry starts getting really nervous; he has never seen this side of Jenny before.
Tom finally arrives, exhausted, but when he sees Jenny confronting Harry as he hides inside the car and a crowd gathering around, he knows to keep his ass away from this.
Seeing that Harry doesn't want to come out just makes Jenny even more furious. Not only did this bastard cheat on her, but now he doesn't have the guts to come clean?
He looks around, trying to find something to open the door, and to her luck, she immediately finds something. A good-sized rock.
Jenny grabs the rock, lifts it, and then throws it at the car's window, shattering it into pieces.
Harry, who is sitting inside, flinches with terror as glass flies everywhere. "Have you lost your mind?!!!!" He shouts at her. His heart was beating crazily.
"It's you who have lost your mind. How fucking dare you lecture me about crossing boundaries when you are fucking some other bitch?!!!!" Jenny shouts, making sure everyone who is standing around, watching them, hears it.
Everyone in the vicinity is now understanding why this girl is so angry. But what shocks them even more is that someone is dumb enough to cheat on such a beautiful girl like Jenny.
Jenny then tosses Tom's phone that she has been holding to Harry. Harry flinches as the phone hits his chest and falls on his lap.
He hears his own moaning sounds and looks down. He picks up the phone and sees the video of him having sex with the girl he met in Tom's house.
Harry also realizes that this phone belongs to Tom. Reality starts to set in as Harry realizes that Tom betrayed him.
The guy he thought was his best friend has betrayed him.
Harry looks up, his eyes searching for Tom and finally finds him, standing far away, staring at the circus that is going on.
"You..." Harry says, gritting his teeth, his eyes locked onto Tom's as Tom stares back at him with no emotion.
"It's over!" Jenny suddenly says, grabbing Harry's attention again. "It's over, Harry. I am breaking up with you. I want nothing to do with you. You are not welcome in my house anymore. And I want everything you owe me back. I need all the money I lent to you back. If I don't get them back in a month, I will sue your ass!" Jenny shouts, turns around, and walks back to her apartment.
The crowd watched with amusement as it was a great show. "Jenny, wait! Please, don't do this to me! Jenny! Jenny!" Harry shouts, but Jenny doesn't stop.
As Jenny walks past Tom, she gives him a disgusted side glance. "Pig!" Calling him a pig, and goes back to her room.
Tom's eyes turn cold, hearing Jenny insult him again.
