Lucia, Goddess of Light, awoke. A siren-like sound blared next to Her ear at a deafening volume, startling Her so badly that She nearly rolled off of Her latest playthings—who were similarly startled but much less energetic with what little rest She had given them.

She willed the noise out of existence, along with its source.

The sound intensified, growing closer and louder.

She opened Her eyes in annoyance, the usual brilliant white glow of Her massive pocket dimension marred by something dark and ugly.

A large screen, larger than any that the outworlders She had summoned had ever brought, hung in the air next to Her blonde head, positioned at the perfect distance so that it filled Her vision.

Lucia's perfect, blonde eyebrows raised to their limit over Her gorgeous face. "What the fuck?" She hissed.
