BOOM!

With a thunderous roar, Shiva's head slammed into the floor, creating a crater.

"What was that?! An explosion? A terrorist attack?"

"Where's Shiva-sama? And that arrogant brat?"

The Gods below, startled by the sudden noise, leaped to their feet, their divine auras flaring as they searched for the source of the disturbance.

Then, Odin pointed towards Shiva's now-empty throne. "Um… take a look over there…"

The Gods' gazes followed his finger.

Haru, crouched down, his right hand pinning Shiva's head to the ground, half of the God's face buried in the stone floor.

The Gods stared at Shiva's exposed eye, their faces a mixture of shock and disbelief.

'What had just happened?' How had the mighty Shiva, the God of Destruction, been so easily subdued?

Indra's eye twitched. He should have sensed it. He was closest to Shiva, and as one of the top five strongest, he should have reacted instantly. But he'd only seen a blur of motion, and then… Shiva was on the floor.

As a former Hindu God of Thunder himself, Indra knew Shiva's power well. That was why he'd backed down earlier, when he'd been about to attack Haru. A single glance from Shiva had been enough to stop him.

Even after leaving Shiva's service to establish the Buddhist pantheon, even after achieving his current rank as the fifth strongest, Indra still held a deep respect—a healthy fear—for Shiva.

He'd been accustomed to being… outclassed for so long that Shiva's invincibility had become ingrained in his mind.

That was why he'd immediately called for Shiva's help when he learned Ophis was under Haru's control.

And now… the invincible Shiva, right before his eyes, had been pinned to the ground, his expression as bewildered as the others'.

Clearly, even Shiva hadn't understood what had just happened.

Something within Indra snapped. The image of Shiva's invincibility, carefully constructed over millennia, crumbled.

He stared at the defeated God, a thought forming in his mind. "Even you can be defeated… Perhaps… I should challenge you sometime…"

Then, he saw the smirk on Haru's face, and his eyes widened in alarm.

He scrambled back, clutching his chair, his heart pounding.

If Shiva hadn't stopped him earlier, he'd be the one on the floor now, his face buried in the stone, his dignity shattered.

He looked at Shiva with newfound gratitude.

"What a bro… taking one for the team like that, saving me from humiliation. As expected of my former boss."

...

The other Gods at the head of the table had also witnessed Shiva's… predicament, like Indra, they were stunned.

Only Hades looked… pleased.

He'd been humiliated earlier, effortlessly subdued by Shiva with a single touch.

Just one finger!

He, the God of the Underworld, had lost face in front of everyone.

That was why he'd remained silent after Haru's arrival, waiting for Shiva to make his move.

He knew Haru, who had annihilated Samael, combined with the Boosted Gear's power, could rival even the top ten strongest.

All he had to do was wait for Shiva to challenge Haru.

And as expected, Shiva had taken the bait, attempting to claim the Biblical God's followers. Everything had gone according to plan—until Shiva was suddenly pinned to the ground.

That had given Hades pause, but seeing Shiva's defeat… he was overjoyed.

It seemed Shiva was losing.

"Go, Red Dragon Emperor! Finish him off!"

"....."

Then, Hades felt a gaze, filled with malice, upon him. He frowned. Was this a side effect of Shiva's earlier attack??

He turned his head, his eyes narrowing.

A beautiful young woman with golden hair and twelve shimmering white wings—Archangel Michael—sat across from him.

She glared at Hades, her hand mimicking a slashing motion across her throat.

Hades's face darkened. A mere Angel, disobey him, the God of the Underworld? He was about to retaliate—

Then, he remembered. It was Michael's… complaint that had led to Shiva's current predicament.

And now, judging by Haru's expression, it seemed Hades was next.

He turned his head, his gaze fixed on Haru's back, his eyes flickering. Should he strike first? A preemptive attack?

Shiva stared at the… legs… before him, confused.

One moment, he'd been looking at the faces of the other Gods, and the next… legs?

Then, he felt a hand—a rough hand—grabbing his face, grinding it into the stone floor.

He sensed the other Gods' gazes—shock, amusement, gratitude?—fixed upon him.

'Had he… been pinned to the ground?' He slowly turned his eye, meeting Haru's smirk, his face flushing, the color deepening until it was almost black.

As a Primordial God, a being of immense power and eternal life, only three things mattered to him—increasing his strength, his dignity, and his followers' faith.

And now, his dignity had been shattered, his face ground into the dirt before the other Gods. He'd gone from all-powerful deity to… this… in an instant.

It was unbearable.

"YOU BASTARD!!!" Black, destructive divine energy erupted from Shiva, his face contorted in rage as he unleashed a punch, his fist infused with annihilating power.

The space around his fist shattered, fragmenting into countless pieces, which then disintegrated into nothingness.

The fist, carrying the weight of a god's fury, hurtled towards Haru's face.

Haru raised his hand, blocking the attack.

BOOM!!!

The impact reverberated through the conference room, the walls cracking and crumbling under the force of the blast.

Haru grabbed Shiva's fist, his toes tapping the ground as he launched himself into the air, dragging the struggling God with him.
