Chapter 27: Enme Seiko Backstory
Backstory: ENME SEIKO — The Shrine Bomb
Enme Seiko – The Sealing Princess
Class:
Creator
Primordial:
Aegira, Mistress of Divine Constructs
— Primordial of Seals, Locks, Barriers, and Sacred Bindings
There were no lullabies in Enme Seiko's childhood.
Only warning bells.
Born beneath the cracked torii gate of an ancient mountain shrine, she entered the world already cursed. Not by evil but by legacy.
She was the last daughter of the Sealing Bloodline, an ancient spiritual lineage tasked with one impossible duty:
To trap what should never be unleashed.
To carry inside themselves the most violent fragments of ARAÉ.
Her clan called her the Blooming Lock, a prodigy.
But the world would remember her by another name:
The Shrine Bomb.
From the age of six, she sealed her first demon — a soul-consuming wraith from the husk of a collapsed monastery.
By ten, she had already held five Class-1 hellbeasts inside her own spiritual core.
And by thirteen, her body was so loaded with barrier glyphs and spiritual pressure that her mere presence warped the air.
She couldn't cry. Couldn't laugh too loud. Couldn't show weakness. The seals required balance. Emotional stillness.
But she was a child.
So she danced.
Dancing, they told her, was foolish. Wasteful. But to her, it was balance.
When her body couldn't scream, it moved.
When her heart couldn't speak, her music did.
At fifteen, she ran away vanished from the shrines and surfaced in Seoul under a different name.
Enme Seiko: K-Pop Trainee.
Her music masked her power.
Her persona as a sharp-tongued, androgynous idol was her shield.
Nobody knew that while she sang to adoring fans, she was also sealing fractured VYTHRA outbreaks in backstage corridors.
While the crowd screamed for her, she exorcised nightmare beasts beneath trapdoors.
She called it living between the verses.
Half of her belonged to the lights.
The other half belonged to silence.
Until one night — a crack.
During her world tour rehearsal at Seoul Dome, a sliver of ARAÉ's fragment bled through.
She had no choice.
Her brother — her final family — stood too close. The others wouldn't make it out.
So Enme Seiko did what no Sealer had ever done:
She sealed a fragment of the World-Eater itself into her own soul.
It shredded her ribs.
It imploded her heart.
It killed her. She managed to seal it and sent it to somewhere she doesn't even know
She died behind the main stage curtain, curled under a rack of shimmering dresses, blood soaking the floor beneath her microphone.
But that wasn't the end.
She woke in the Divine Interstice — the spiritual horizon between death and oblivion.
And before her stood Aegira, the Primordial of Seals.
The goddess looked at the broken girl and said only one thing:
"If you die, the world dies next."
Enme opened her eyes hours later, buried beneath the ruins of her shrine — reborn not as a pop idol…
But as the last Warlock of the Blooming Seal.
Now, she dances no longer for fame.
She moves to trap devils.
To intercept fate.
To crush anything that dares break the rhythm of the world.
And though her hair is still dyed silver-blue, though her voice still hums with music —
Her eyes carry the weight of forty-seven demons…
And the loneliness of a girl who once just wanted to sing.
She is no longer just a Sealer.
No longer just an idol.
She is:
> Enme Seiko
The Queen of Barriers. The Seal that Walks. The Last Bloom of the Shrine.
