Chapter 54 – New Monster?
Hero Association HQ
3rd POV
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Sitch, a member of the Hero Association staff, screamed. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T FIND HER TRACE?! SHE WAS LITERALLY HERE DOING A MISSION A FEW DAYS AGO!" He collapsed back into his chair, wiping the sweat from his brow.
"About that, sir..." began a man in glasses, preparing to give his report. "We checked the surveillance cameras near her house. She was visible entering her house, but there was no trace of her leaving. It's as if she vanished from existence. We even dispatched heroes skilled in sensing abilities to search for her inside her house, but to no avail. The results were the same—no trace of her inside."
'This is bad, really bad', Sitch thought. The room fell silent, no one daring to speak. Suddenly, Sekingar, a man with a robotic right eye, broke the silence. "Let's schedule a meeting for the S-Class Heroes in a few days."
Sitch sighed, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, let's do that for now. Send a message to all S-Class heroes to attend this meeting in a few days, with the exception of Blast and the currently missing hero, Tatsumaki," he instructed.
"YESSIR!" all the staff responded in unison.

Few Hours Later
Monster Association
A portal opened in a room resembling an apartment. A girl with long black hair stepped out, holding a piece of paper. Her name was Rena.
"Welcome back~," a green-haired girl, Tatsumaki, greeted Rena. She was lounging on the sofa, watching TV while stroking a cat on her lap.
"Hoh? It seems like you and Nyan have made up. You two used to be like water and oil," Rena remarked with a small giggle.
"Well, stuff happened. Since she joined us, why not?" Nyan, the cat, responded, surprising Rena with his uncharacteristic openness.
"Is that so, huh? You grumpy cat," Rena teased, giving Nyan's head a playful stroke. "T-THAT ASIDE, what's that in your hand?" Nyan quickly changed the subject, breaking free from Rena's petting.
"Hmh? Oh, this. Ever since we moved here, I set up a dummy home as my official address for the Hero Association. I asked Black Sperm to keep an eye on it using one of his clones. So this," Rena held up the paper, "is from my mailbox."
"I see. Have you read it?" Nyan asked.
"No, I came straight here after fetching the mail," Rena replied.
"Then what are you waiting for? Go open it," Nyan urged.
"Okay, just a moment," Rena said, gently unfolding the paper. She placed it on the table so Tatsumaki and Nyan could read it too. After a few moments of reading, they all spoke simultaneously.
"O..."

Few Hours Later
Rena POV
It's been a few hours since we read the mail from the Hero Association. They want to discuss something with us S-Class Heroes, so we're being summoned to HQ in a few days. Nyan said it was a good chance to gather information, so I shrugged and replied that I’d arrive just before the meeting starts. Sadly, without Tat-Chan, the journey will be lonely, but I’m fine with it.
Now, I'm standing in front of a huge glass tube filled with green liquid. Floating inside it is a baby-sized monster with its eyes closed. Beside me, Psykos and Genus are sitting, deeply focused on their tasks. I just stand there, admiring the tube.
With the sound of the last click, Psykos spoke, "It's done, Rena-Sama. Now we just need your DNA to complete it."
"Un, what kind of DNA? My blood? My sweat? Or maybe..." I walked to Psykos, raising her chin with a playful gaze. "My mixed DNA with yours?"
Psykos's face turned beet red. "R-R-R-RENA-SAMA, I-IT'S NOT TIME TO PLAYING!"
I giggled and let go of her chin. If Tat-Chan saw this, she’d probably get jealous and beat up Psykos on the spot.
"Cough* cough* ehem* J-just any liquid is fine, Rena-Sama," Psykos stammered, still blushing.
"Alright~" I replied playfully. I pulled out a small glass cylinder with a strange liquid inside and added a single drop of my blood. Psykos was startled but took the glass and placed it in a small compartment beside the huge tube. She returned to her seat and continued working. A few minutes later, Psykos glanced at Genus, who nodded back. They both looked at me.
"Rena-Sama, we will now start the project," Psykos said. I nodded, and she placed her hand on a lever and pulled it. The huge tube began to shake intensely.
"Eh," Genus said immediately.
"What's wrong, Genus?" Psykos asked.
"Psykos-Sama, it seems that after combining with the liquid, the object became unstable. I can't control it," Genus explained, sweat dropping nonstop from his face.
"What?! Let me see," Psykos rushed to Genus's screen. "Oh no..."
BOOM!*

The explosion filled the room with dust. As it slowly dispersed, I saw a small figure rubbing her eyes. I walked towards her. Realizing my approach, the figure looked up at my feet, then slowly up to my face. She then spoke,
"Mom,my?"
