Bully Lord

Part-115

Part-115

The days that followed were a relentless quest for mastery. James spent countless hours in the gym, pushing his body to its limits. The initial shock from his encounter with Coach Gin had ignited a burning desire to improve. He focused on building strength, endurance, and flexibility while honing his Judo techniques.

His sparring matches with Zia became the ultimate testing ground for his new abilities. At first, Zia was surprised by James' newfound strength, but this quickly turned into a competitive spirit. Always eager for a challenge, Zia pushed James to his limits, forcing him to adapt and evolve.

Couple days later after he survived against Coach Gin, during an especially intense sparring session, James decided it was time to test his newly acquired skills. He started with a basic Judo technique, the O Goshi (major hip throw). As Zia moved in for an attack, James swiftly shifted his weight and turned his hips, catching Zia off guard. With a powerful motion, James lifted Zia off the ground and executed the throw perfectly, sending Zia to the mat with a thud.

Surprised but undeterred, Zia quickly got back on his feet. He circled James, looking for an opening. James remained focused, his training kicking in. When Zia attempted a shoulder throw, James countered with a Tai Otoshi (body drop). He stepped to the side, using Zia's momentum against him, and brought him crashing down again.

The intensity of the match increased. Zia tried to regain control, using his experience to anticipate James' moves. But James had spent hours perfecting his techniques. When Zia reached out to grab his gi, James responded with a swift Ippon Seoi Nage (one-arm shoulder throw). He rotated his body, pulling Zia over his shoulder and onto the mat.

James could see the frustration in Zia's eyes, but he didn't let up. He transitioned smoothly into groundwork, applying a Kesa Gatame (scarf hold). Zia struggled to break free, but James' grip was firm, his positioning impeccable. After a few moments, he released the hold and allowed Zia to stand.

Emboldened by his success, James pressed the attack further. He used a variety of throws, locks, and pins, each move flowing seamlessly into the next. His movements were fluid and powerful, a testament to his rigorous training. Zia, despite his skill, was overwhelmed by James' newfound strength and aggression.

During a brief moment of grappling, James executed an Ashi Guruma (leg wheel). He hooked his leg around Zia's and used his upper body strength to pivot and throw Zia to the ground. Zia, caught off guard, hit the mat hard. James immediately followed up with a Yoko Shiho Gatame (side four-quarters hold), pinning Zia effectively.

As the match continued, it became clear that James had the upper hand. His technique, strength, and strategic thinking were all in perfect harmony. Zia, recognizing this, fought valiantly but was ultimately outmatched. In the end, James emerged victorious, his body drenched in sweat but his heart filled with satisfaction.

"Where did you learn that?" Zia asked, genuine surprise in his voice. "You've improved a lot."

James smiled. "Observation, practice, and a little bit of luck," he replied, deflecting the question. He wasn't ready to reveal the existence of the System just yet.
