Chapter 11: The New Butcher "Nurse"

After dispelling Wang Lide's worries, Yang Chi opened the system and looked at the task column. He tapped on the task and saw that the previous task had been marked as completed. 

When prompted, he clicked "Yes," and the system informed him that new DLC rewards had been received and that the new butcher "Nurse" had been added to the Dead by Daylight module. Seeing this, Yang Chi couldn't help but feel a bit emotional. Nurse was a familiar name for a butcher. In the previous life of Dead by Daylight, if the butchers were ranked by their abilities, the nurse was undoubtedly number one.

However, when Yang Chi looked at the products in the store, his eyes widened. "Hey, isn't it? A new DLC actually requires 5,000 fear points? What is this? The Evil God Statue? 100,000 fear points?" he thought. In the entire store, the cheapest DLC required 5,000 fear points to buy, and some special props were even more exorbitantly priced. The special prop called [Evil God Statue] could increase the amount of fear points obtained by 20%, but it required a full 100,000 fear points to purchase!

Four people stayed in the world of Dead by Daylight for four days before they got 20 fear points. Saving up to 100,000 seemed like an insurmountable task. Yang Chi calculated that at this pace, even if he threw all the prisoners into the world of Dead by Daylight, it would still take him half a year to collect the 100,000 fear points.

Regretfully, Yang Chi closed the store after briefly browsing the items. Judging from his current financial resources, these special props were still out of reach, so he decided to focus on completing the next task first. He found the taskbar again, and as expected, it had been updated with new missions.

The new mission, titled "The First Pot of Gold," tasked him with purchasing a prop in the prop mall with a reward of 10,000 fear points. Another mission, "Dictator," required him to conquer all prisoners in the prison, establish an iron-blooded image, and instill fear in all who saw him, with the reward being the Doctor's Electrotherapy Room. Additionally, there was a mission called "Pretender," which involved dealing with the Human Alliance evaluation team and obtaining a full star rating.

After three tasks in a row, Yang Chi first eliminated the first task and the third task. The reason for the elimination is simple. I don't have that much fear value to spend in the system store, so naturally, I can't complete the first task. As for the third mission, if my calculations are correct, the Human League's evaluation team will not come here to inspect it until a month later. The only thing I can complete at this stage is the second task. Although I don't know what the mission reward [Doctor's Electrotherapy Room] is for, Yang Chi understood that even if he didn't want this reward, he still needed to establish his prestige in the prison.

There is so much chaos inside the Iron Castle Prison now that the warden himself has no prestige at all. But now, Yang Chi is eager to find fault with these criminals and give herself a reason to throw them into the world of Dead by Daylight. I believe that under the education of the butcher's knife, no matter how vicious the prisoner is, he will have to kneel down to himself.

Just when Yang Chi was thinking about whom to trouble, a strong, sturdy prisoner led a group of people to Brother Long on the playground of Iron Castle Prison. Glancing at Brother Long, who was huddled in the corner, looking like a frightened mouse, the strong prisoner couldn't help but frown. "Chen Erlong, why are you acting like this?" Hearing this, Bald Brother Long's body couldn't help but tremble. He saw the strong prisoner talking to him, and then glanced at the prison guard staring at him coldly on the high wall in the distance. Brother Long suddenly shuddered, stood up, pushed the strong prisoner away fiercely, and cursed angrily. 

"Hou Hong, don't talk to me, get away." Suddenly being pushed by Brother Long, the prisoner named Hou Hong's eyes widened, as if he didn't believe that Brother Long dared to push him. Hou Hong grabbed Brother Long by the collar and lifted him into the air. Hou Hong slapped Brother Long on the face. "Chen Erlong, you dare to attack me, don't you want to live anymore?" 

"Made, surnamed Hou, I advise you not to take action, otherwise you will be targeted by the warden and you will reap the rewards." Seeing that the other party dared to slap himself, Brother Long was so angry that his veins burst out. To be honest, I would have done something before being grabbed like this. But now Brother Long doesn't dare, because Brother Long is worried that he will be sent back to the small dark room again because of the fight. He died again and again in that strange world, like a white mouse being strangled by someone, and he could never escape the cycle of death. Brother Long dared to believe that if he stayed in that weird world for two more days, he would definitely go crazy! So even if Hou Hong grabbed him and slapped him in the face, Brother Long didn't dare to fight back.
