Chapter 129: Chapter 128 Big Mom vs. Buggy

"Ah, that old hag is here!" Nami, who had just eaten the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon, felt a surge of nerves as she watched Big Mom approach through the crashing waves.

Crash! Scoff!

Suddenly, Nami let out an involuntary cry. In the next instant, two large, black wings burst from her back with a powerful snap. At the same time, her upper-body clothing shredded into pieces, scattering into the wind.

Buggy's jaw nearly hit the floor at the sight. But then he smirked, shaking his head. Well, it's Nami. This woman's never been shy about showing skin.

Despite the wardrobe malfunction, Nami didn't seem the least bit concerned about her now-exposed figure. Her wide, excited eyes were fixed on the wings spreading out behind her.

"Hahaha! This is incredible! I can fly!" Her voice was filled with exhilaration as she turned her attention to Buggy.

"And I can feel it—I can breathe fire anytime I want! This Devil Fruit is amazing! Aniki, thank you so much!"

Overwhelmed with excitement, Nami dashed forward and wrapped Buggy in a tight hug.

If Buggy had been an ordinary person, he would've been thrown backward by the sheer force of her enthusiasm. His amused smirk deepened as he noted the strength behind her embrace. But he also couldn't ignore the "snow peaks" pressing against him, which thankfully didn't completely flatten him.

From a distance, Pudding raised her hand to cover her eyes, though she peeked nervously through her fingers.

"Nami, stop! You're embarrassing yourself!" Pudding scolded, though her voice trembled. "Robin's going to be heartbroken if she sees this! You're acting like a bridesmaid trying to seduce her Aniki!"

It was only then that Nami realized what she'd done. Her face turned crimson as she remembered the wings' emergence had torn her top to shreds. Now, here she was, hugging Buggy—shirtless.

Crash!

Without a word, Buggy draped his cloak over her shoulders, his expression casual and unaffected.

"You just ate the Devil Fruit," Buggy said, his tone steady. "You're not skilled enough to control its power yet. For now, stay out of the battle and focus on mastering your abilities. Leave this fight to me and Robin."

"Yes, Aniki," Nami replied, nodding obediently. Her face was still flushed, but she tightened the cloak around herself, grateful for Buggy's composed demeanor.

Pudding, however, kept her hands over her eyes, muttering something in the cursed language she had learned from Sanji about how everything was doomed.

But before she could get too caught up in her embarrassment, the tension at the shoreline shifted. Everyone's eyes turned toward Luo Chen, whose presence now commanded all their attention.

At this moment, Robin stood tall, her wings outstretched behind her like an angel descending to the mortal world. She faced Big Mom, who was breaking through the waves with a terrifying presence, her expression calm and unyielding.

Though she couldn't pinpoint exactly where Buggy was, she could feel his arrival. Even so, Robin made no rush to act.

Do you want to see how much stronger I've become? Fine—watch closely!

A faint, confident smile curved Robin's lips as she stretched her right hand forward. Her voice rang out, firm and resonant:

"Fishmen Karate: 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva!"

BOOM!

As her palm thrust forward, a colossal, ethereal Avalokitesvara materialized behind her, its many hands glowing with power. Dozens of these hands moved as one, sweeping diagonally across the sea in front of her. The motion unleashed a shockwave that churned the ocean into towering waves.

Huff, huff… Whoosh!

The enormous waves rolled forward with unstoppable momentum, transforming into a massive water column stretching tens of meters high. It barreled toward Big Mom at terrifying speed, obliterating the jagged reefs in its path with ease. In the blink of an eye, the column surged toward its target.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Big Mom's laughter erupted, sharp and deranged.

"Not bad, little girl!" she cackled, her eyes gleaming with sadistic glee. "It's always more fun to crush someone with potential!"

With a crazed grin, she raised the Emperor's Sword, Napoleon, high above her head. Her voice thundered across the battlefield:

"Zeus! Prometheus!"

"Yes, Mama!"

Thundercloud Zeus and Prometheus sprang into action, their elemental power surging into Napoleon. In an instant, the sword was engulfed in crackling lightning and roaring flames. Energy spiraled around the blade, forming an overwhelming aura of destruction.

"Take this! Lightning Blade!" Big Mom roared as she swung the sword downward.

The blade cleaved through the air, unleashing a devastating slash of fire and lightning that tore across the sea. The elemental strike collided with the colossal water column.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!

A thunderous explosion erupted as seawater burst into the air, forming a dense mist.

Scoff!

Moments later, the water column split in two, cleaved by the thunder-fire slash. The attack's remnants continued toward Robin, spanning hundreds of meters.

However, by the time the weakened slash reached her, its power had diminished significantly. Robin's calm gaze never wavered.

With a single thought, Robin commanded the towering Avalokitesvara behind her. Instantly, seven beams of light shot out, each wrapping around palms imbued with Armament Haki, and blasted toward the incoming sword light.

"Seventh Hand!"

The enormous slash from Big Mom's blade exploded into fragments under the relentless barrage of Avalokitesvara's Haki-infused palms.

Robin didn't pause. Clapping her hands together, she channeled her energy, drawing it back to her fists as a powerful aura surrounded her. With a graceful yet commanding motion, she thrust her fists forward, her voice ringing clear and strong:

"Ninety-Ninth Hand!"

In perfect unison, the massive hands of the Avalokitesvara statue mirrored her movement. A powerful ripple of force burst forth as every giant palm was coated in Armament Haki, their overwhelming energy directed forward.

Behind her, Nami and Pudding stood frozen in awe.

"My God! Is Robin this strong?" Nami stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

"She's amazing! Absolutely incredible!" Pudding exclaimed, her eyes wide with astonishment.

Buggy, however, sighed softly, shaking his head as he observed the spectacle.

"If that's all there is to it, it won't be enough," he muttered. "Charlotte Linlin's defenses are on a completely different level. Even with all this, the power is spread too thin to make an impact. And the Haki consumption... it's enormous."

He crossed his arms, his expression a mix of frustration and bemusement.

"This is the problem with splitting force across so many points. Against ordinary pirates? Sure, it's overwhelming. But against a Four Emperors-level opponent like Big Mom? You need to concentrate everything on a single point to maximize the attack's potential."

Buggy rubbed his forehead, recalling the technique Robin had emulated.

"She must've been inspired by when I used True Several Thousand Hands. It's a solid move, but it's different when someone else tries to replicate it." He chuckled wryly.

His tone grew more contemplative as he explained further, "With my fruit ability, every attack lets me absorb the opponent's energy. The more hits I land, the bigger the advantage I gain. That's why when I unleash the thousand-hand technique, I can sustain the attack indefinitely, wrapping Haki around every palm. Even Four Emperors like Linlin would struggle to endure such a barrage."

Buggy's gaze turned back to Robin, watching her technique with a mix of admiration and critique.

"Still, it's not bad. She's got the foundation. But against someone like Linlin, even a momentary miscalculation could cost you everything."

Almost simultaneously, Nami screamed from behind, "Aniki, hurry up and do something—!"

Before she could finish, Buggy's figure had already vanished.

When he reappeared, he was behind Robin, his arms wrapped around her waist as he smiled softly. "Yes, your strength has improved a lot. Enough to handle most ordinary threats. Now I can rest easy, knowing you're ready for adventures with the crew."

Robin's lips curved into a sweet, radiant smile. "I knew you'd show up." He never let her down—not once.

Buggy tightened his hold on her gently. "Leave the rest to me."

With one arm still around Robin, he casually brushed a stray lock of hair from his forehead, exuding an air of complete indifference to the two devastating attacks closing in on them.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!

Thunderous explosions echoed, and powerful shockwaves crashed into the space just meters from Buggy and Robin. Yet the black-and-gold flames surrounding them stood impenetrable, forming an unyielding barrier that nullified the onslaught entirely.

As the smoke cleared, the attacks faded, leaving nothing but silence.

From the distance, Big Mom's voice cut through the air, cackling with manic glee as her massive form floated closer. "Mamamama! You wretched clown! What will you do now, watching your woman suffer at my hands?" She grinned wickedly, her voice growing louder with every word. "That last fight... it's been too long since I've fought someone this strong. Thanks to you, I've finally regained my edge!"

But her mocking laugh died in her throat when she saw Buggy disappear. Buggy was no longer standing with Robin.

Her pupils shrank in shock as he appeared directly in front of her, fists poised and aimed squarely at her chest.

Under her horrified gaze, his voice rang cold and clear, "Six Styles: Six King Spear!"

BZZZZ!

A massive shockwave crackling with platinum, purple, and black lightning erupted from Buggy's fists, tearing through the air and slamming into Big Mom's heart with terrifying precision.

BOOM!!!

"GAH—!" Big Mom screamed, a spray of blood escaping her lips as her colossal body was launched off Prometheus like a cannonball. She crashed into the rocky island below with earth-shattering force.

BOOM!!!

The island trembled violently before sinking nearly a thousand meters. A massive crater, over ten meters deep, formed at the impact site, with countless cracks spidering outwards.

From afar, Nami and Pudding were frozen in disbelief, their eyes wide and jaws slack.

"That... that's Big Mom," Nami stammered. "The same Big Mom who chased us across the New World?"

"Mom—she's injured from a single attack?! That's insane!" Pudding cried.

High above the destruction, Buggy hovered calmly, the corner of his mouth curving into a faint smirk.

"You might've gotten stronger, Linlin," he murmured, "but so have I—and far more than you."

Buggy's eyes narrowed as his resolve hardened. He hadn't come here to let her recover. This was the end.

Without hesitation, he vanished again, his figure reappearing in front of a stunned Prometheus. The living sun hadn't even processed what was happening when Buggy's right hand began to radiate an intense platinum-gold light.

With a cruel grin, he uttered, "Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Absolute Heaven!!"

BOOM!!!

"MOTHER!!!" Prometheus shrieked in terror as Buggy's merciless punch obliterated it into fragments.

BOOM!

"Ah..."

Before anyone could react, Buggy kicked Zeus—still dazed and confused—straight toward Nami, Robin, and Pudding.

The kick left Zeus half-disabled, rendering him useless for the fight, at least temporarily. For someone like Big Mom, losing Zeus might be an inconvenience, but for Nami, it was a golden opportunity.

Buggy smirked. If she can't seize this chance, it's on her. Luck only favors the bold.

For a powerhouse like him, Zeus was little more than a toy. But in the hands of someone less experienced, Zeus could be a game-changer. With that matter settled Buggy shifted his focus back to the battlefield.

Having obliterated both Prometheus and Zeus in near-instantaneous attacks, Buggy rotated midair with effortless grace. His gaze locked onto the massive crater below where Big Mom had crashed. Without hesitation, he unleashed a devastating series of kicks, his voice cold and commanding:

"Tempest Kick: Half Moon Death Scythe!"

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Dozens of crescent-shaped blades, each over ten meters long and crackling with purple-black lightning, tore through the air.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!

The blasts struck the crater with terrifying force, sending shockwaves across the battlefield. The pit deepened by several dozen meters, and jagged fissures ripped through the surrounding terrain. Seawater began to seep in, pooling ominously. If Big Mom didn't rise soon, she'd risk being swallowed by the ocean.

But she wasn't done yet.

"The Spear of Elbaf: Ikoku!"

Big Mom's bellow echoed like thunder as the air around her superheated, evaporating the seeping seawater instantly. A colossal shockwave erupted from her position, surging toward Buggy in the sky.

"Zeus! Prometheus!!!"

Her roar was laced with desperation. But the absence of their responses made her freeze. One presence was faint, barely hanging on, while the other was gone entirely.

Her eyes widened in disbelief, her disheveled hair whipping around her face as she realized what had happened.

"Clown Buggy!!!" she snarled through gritted teeth, her voice a mix of fury and despair. "I'll kill you!!!"

Buggy remained unshaken, his expression cool and detached. His right hand began to glow with a platinum-gold brilliance, radiating an overwhelming aura of power.

"Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Empyrean!"

With a deafening BOOM, Buggy's platinum-gold energy clashed with Big Mom's Ikoku, splitting the sky with its intensity. The sheer force of the collision sent a shockwave rippling outward, shaking the battlefield below.

At the same time, Buggy bent his legs and sprang forward, blasting through the air like a missile toward Big Mom's attack.

"Ikoku! Ikoku! Ikoku!!!"

Big Mom roared, her body erupting with Conqueror's Haki, the sheer weight of her willpower creating a crushing aura.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

But Buggy met her head-on, smashing through the shockwaves with a single, unyielding punch. His indifference to her fury only enraged her further.

"Why! Why! Why won't you die yo,u damned clown!" Big Mom screamed.

In a blur, Buggy closed the gap, appearing directly in front of her.

Snap!

His hands clapped together with a sharp crack before swiftly pulling apart, unleashing a deadly glow.

"Nuclear Flash!"

The battlefield fell silent for a moment, save for the crackling hum of energy building between Buggy's hands.

"Zzzzzzz..."

Big Mom's eyes widened in horror as the golden light intensified, the move she feared most manifesting before her. Memories of its destructive power replayed in her mind.

"No! Damn you! Stay away from me!!!"

Her scream was laced with panic, her towering frame trembling. For the first time, Charlotte Linlin—the monstrous Yonko known as Big Mom—looked truly afraid.

Big Mom was utterly shattered by the attack. Her face twisted in agony as she saw the devastating move unfold before her eyes.

This had been Buggy's plan all along. He had always favored high-impact, explosive battles.

Smirk.

Without hesitation, Buggy closed the distance in the blink of an eye, propelled by the force of his high-altitude descent. He didn't waste a second, unleashing the full power of his Nuclear Flash directly at her chest.

BANG!!!

There was no chance for Big Mom to defend herself at such close range. The Nuclear Flash tore through her body, a blast of pure energy that pierced her chest with terrifying force. Blood erupted from the wound like gushing pillars.

"AHHH!!!"

Big Mom's shrill scream filled the air, growing louder with each passing second. With the emperor's sword still clutched in her trembling hand, her massive form crumpled to the ground with a deafening THUD.

Nami, Pudding, and even Robin stood frozen in disbelief. Had the terrifying Four Emperors, Charlotte Linlin, really just been defeated?
