It had been seven days since Mo Yu left the Ten Thousand Beast Mountain Range. After departing, he didn't choose to rest in Lannister Town but headed directly west, toward the Jia Ma Empire.

Throughout his journey, Mo Yu took great care to conceal his tracks, knowing that Mu Lan Valley had likely mobilized the entire empire's forces to search for him. His suspicions were confirmed, as Mu Lan Valley's orders in the Mu Lan Empire were as authoritative as imperial decrees. Within half a month, the command to capture Mo Yu had spread across the entire empire.

The reward was indeed tempting: anyone providing information about Mo Yu would be rewarded with 100,000 gold coins and a low-level Xuan class technique or Dou technique. Those who captured him, dead or alive, would receive 500,000 gold coins, a high-level Xuan class technique or Dou technique, and the opportunity to recommend a family member to become an inner disciple of Mu Lan Valley.

The sheer richness of the reward was unprecedented. After hearing the news, nearly every power, large and small, in the Mu Lan Empire began hunting Mo Yu like sharks that had smelled blood.

Upon learning this, Mo Yu furrowed his brow, rubbing his chin as he muttered to himself, "Seems like I've become famous in the Mu Lan Empire. That lion-headed elder really pulled out all the stops."

Shaking his head, Mo Yu, although somewhat cautious about Mu Lan Valley's grand search, was still confident in his ability to escape, especially with She Lao as his ally. As long as multiple Dou Huang didn't appear at once, he believed he could get away unscathed.

Continuing his journey, Mo Yu's next destination was Beast Wasteland City, a large city located in the central part of the Mu Lan Empire. It was also his intended destination.

Beast Wasteland City was one of the most prominent cities in the Mu Lan Empire, and among all the large cities in the empire, it ranked near the top. Mo Yu's purpose in going there was to join the so-called Weapon Alliance.

He still carried an introduction letter from Bing Lao. While Mo Yu didn't know much about the mysterious elder's exact identity, a group with a seventh-tier weapon refiner was certainly worth his interest.

Just like alchemists, weapon refiners also needed to band together. Given Mo Yu's meager skills in alchemy, he had no hope of joining the Pill Tower, but the Weapon Alliance? He was determined to get in.

Especially after awakening the Flash Void Breaking Thunder, Mo Yu was desperate to find some space-infused treasures, and with so many weapon refiners in the Weapon Alliance, there might be some leads.

With this in mind, Mo Yu didn't care much about Mu Lan Valley's pursuit, disguising himself and heading to Beast Wasteland City.

The city was quite far from the Ten Thousand Beast Mountain Range. In the past, Mo Yu would have simply flown there using his Purple Cloud Wings in a day or two, but now, it was too risky.

Using the Purple Cloud Wings would attract too much attention, especially since Mu Lan Valley had detailed his appearance and characteristics in their bounty. Among those traits, his pair of purple wings was undoubtedly the most eye-catching.

The Mu Lan Empire was vast, and many hidden experts were already keeping an eye on him. Naturally, Mo Yu had to be more cautious now.

After traveling for a few days, he arrived at a small town near Beast Wasteland City. After resting briefly, he paid his way into a merchant caravan to slip into the city unnoticed.

As they say, money talks, and that rule held true everywhere.

Mo Yu had intentionally altered his appearance, turning his originally handsome face into something more ordinary. His eyes now gleamed with a faint silver hue, and he wore cheap cloth garments. Even if Elder Lion stood before him, he might not recognize him.

For a few dozen gold coins, Mo Yu easily bribed the caravan's manager, who didn't ask any questions about his identity and cheerfully agreed to let him tag along.

In exchange for the gold coins, the manager even offered Mo Yu a place in a carriage for the trip.

After half an hour of rest, Mo Yu set out with the merchant caravan, making his way toward Beast Wasteland City.

Although the town was the closest to the city, the journey still took the caravan most of the afternoon. Finally, as the sun began to set, Mo Yu could faintly see the enormous outline of Beast Wasteland City.

Standing in the carriage, Mo Yu gazed at the colossal city bathed in the crimson glow of the setting sun, letting out a soft sigh of relief.

However, when they reached the city gate, his expression froze upon spotting a familiar face on a wanted poster. It was none other than a likeness of himself.

Touching his face, Mo Yu smirked inwardly. With his disguise, it would take an expert with extremely powerful soul force to detect any flaws. To the average person, they would appear to be two entirely different people.

The city guards were certainly not skilled enough to notice anything amiss. After the caravan manager paid the entry taxes, the black-armored guards only glanced briefly inside the carriage before impatiently waving them through.

After being guided into the city and parting ways with the merchant caravan, Mo Yu followed the manager's suggestion and booked a room at a well-known inn for the night.

As soon as Mo Yu sat down in his room and reached for a cup of tea, a voice suddenly rang out, "Mo Yu, what are you doing in this city?"

Before he could react, a hazy white figure floated in—She Lao.

"Nothing much. I heard this city has a Weapon Alliance branch, and my weapon refining skills caught the eye of a senior a few months ago. He gave me an introduction letter, so I thought I'd check it out," Mo Yu replied with a smile, sipping his tea.

"Weapon Alliance? A weapon refiner organization?" She Lao raised an eyebrow, musing, "I vaguely heard about them when I was in Central Plains. Back then, they were a small faction. I wonder how they've developed over the years."

"Though weapon refiners aren't as prestigious as alchemists, they still hold considerable clout. If the Weapon Alliance has a branch here, it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to join. At least within the Mu Lan Empire, I doubt anyone would dare to mess with a member of the Weapon Alliance."

After listening to She Lao's words, Mo Yu's interest was piqued. He had previously ignored this aspect, having always operated solo. Even when invited by Lü Man, he had refused without hesitation.

But the Weapon Alliance was different. It wasn't just a faction but a coalition of weapon refiners. By joining, Mo Yu wouldn't be constrained by them but would still enjoy some protection.

With a seventh-tier weapon refiner among their ranks, the Weapon Alliance was certainly formidable. If Mo Yu successfully joined, even Mu Lan Valley would have to think twice before attempting to harm him.

Smiling, Mo Yu nodded. "Indeed, joining the Weapon Alliance offers many benefits. I was initially just looking for some space element treasures through their connections, but it seems they might also help me deal with the Mu Lan Valley issue."

"An item containing space element? You're trying to continue feeding your Thunder Soul, right? I remember that besides the Void Ice Crystal, the Na Ling ( Spatial Essence ) is also a good option. You can start from there."

"Na Ling?" Hearing the name, Mo Yu's heart stirred.

"Yes, the Na Ling. But compared to the Void Ice Crystal, it's much rarer. It's also somewhat related to Na Jie ( Storage Ring ), and this Na Ling can only be found at the core of the highest-grade Spatial Stone."

"As for high-grade Spatial Stone, it's a crucial material for making high-grade Na Jie. So you can imagine how rare it is. Additionally, the chance of finding Na Ling inside a high-grade Spatial Stone is not high, making it even rarer."

Hearing this, Mo Yu nodded seriously. He knew well how precious Na Ling was. Even Yao Lao only had a tiny bit of it.

If it weren't for the remaining Na Ling from Yao Lao in the original story, Xiao Yan might not have even had the chance to subdue a Heavenly Flame.

Shaking his head, Mo Yu murmured, "There's no rush for Na Ling. If I can't find it, I'll just use Spatial Stone as a substitute. After all, the Flash Void Breaking Thunder isn't that picky."

Hearing Mo Yu's playful tone, She Lao's lips curled into a wicked smile, and he chuckled.

"Since you've made up your mind, I'm looking forward to seeing your performance tomorrow. I hope your weapon crafting skills are as impressive as your talent."

After speaking, She Lao's soul form flashed and slipped into Mo Yu's Beast Ring.

After seeing She Lao disappear, Mo Yu sat quietly for a while, then drained the tea in his cup before heading to his bedroom. The fatigue from traveling for so many days slowly led him into a deep sleep...

The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight touched the earth, Mo Yu had already left the inn early. While on his way out, he also inquired about the location of the Weapon Alliance.

However, to Mo Yu's surprise, the Weapon Alliance wasn't called that on the Northwestern Continent. Instead, it was stationed in various places under the name of the Weapon Refiner's Branch.

Mo Yu chuckled and shook his head at this. Even though these Weapon Refiners despised Alchemists, they still couldn't help but mimic them in every way possible. Was this what people meant by "denial with a straight face"?

Not dwelling on it further, he followed the innkeeper's directions and turned down a few long streets.

After wandering for a while, Mo Yu finally stopped, looking up at the grand, imposing building before him.

The structure had a unique design, resembling a giant furnace. Surrounding the building were windows shaped like the furnace's fire vents, and a massive lid sat atop the high roof, covering the entire structure.

Mo Yu was no longer surprised by these attempts to mimic the Alchemists.

His gaze landed on the golden plaque outside the building, where five ancient characters, slightly blurred with time, shimmered faintly.

"Weapon Refiner's Branch!"

Mo Yu muttered softly under his breath. He glanced around and noticed that most of the passersby who walked by the unique building would cast a respectful gaze toward the plaque.

It was clear that in the Mu Lan Empire, Weapon Refiners held a status similar to that of Alchemists, gaining recognition and respect from the public—just like Poison Masters in the Chu Yun Empire.

After a quick glance around, Mo Yu strode confidently toward the Weapon Refiners' building, attracting curious looks from passersby.

As he approached the entrance, a heavily armored man who had been watching him for a while extended his hand to block Mo Yu's path, speaking in a deep voice, "Young man, this is the Weapon Refiner's Branch. No one is allowed inside unless you have a letter of introduction from your mentor."

Unfazed, Mo Yu casually retrieved a sheepskin envelope from his Beast Ring and handed it to the guard. "I do have a letter of introduction, though it's not from my mentor. But I believe it should suffice."

A Seventh-Rank Weapon Refiner held significant prestige within the Weapon Alliance. Though not necessarily a top figure, their status and influence were certainly noteworthy. Thus, Mo Yu wasn't worried about being turned away after handing over the letter.

The guard took the sheepskin letter, casting a doubtful glance at Mo Yu. But when he noticed the shining furnace emblem on the envelope, his expression changed, and his tone became more respectful.

"Young master, please wait a moment. I'll deliver this letter to our president. If it checks out, you'll be allowed to enter shortly."

Mo Yu nodded, watching as the guard hurriedly walked inside with the letter.

Seeing the guard's respectful attitude, the onlookers became more curious. When they saw Mo Yu pull out a letter of introduction, their gazes shifted to one of awe.

A disciple of a Weapon Refiner was also a Weapon Refiner, a status far beyond their reach.

Mo Yu had grown accustomed to such looks, and his expression remained unchanged as he closed his eyes and waited quietly.

As time passed, just when Mo Yu began to feel a bit impatient, a seductive and teasing voice suddenly came from inside.

"Oh my, when did Master take on a new disciple? Why didn't he tell me? Let me see what my junior brother looks like."

Hearing this voice, Mo Yu froze, sensing that something was off. Just then, a graceful figure in blue slowly emerged from the door.

The woman, appearing to be in her early thirties, had a beautiful face and a voluptuous figure, with all the right curves in the right places. Her mature and alluring body was wrapped in a blue, tight-fitting palace dress, exuding an air of nobility.

She walked up to Mo Yu, her seductive eyes sweeping over him. Her red lips curved into a playful smile as she said, "So, you're my new little junior brother?"
