Brothel Manager : Unexpected Encounter with A Hidden Family Heirloom
Chapter 503: Prince Saviour!
"Tung… Kacha…"
Suddenly, the silver sword gifted by General Harries broke in half. A sudden halt occurred as enemies stared at this scene with hope.
The battlefield, once roaring with the sounds of clashing steel and the cries of warriors, suddenly fell into an eerie silence. All eyes were fixed on a single moment—the steel sword snapped in half. The metallic clang of the broken blade hitting the ground echoed through the air, chilling the hearts of those who heard it.
For a brief, haunting moment, time itself seemed to freeze. The army of the Taurus family, who had been so eager to seize victory, now stood paralyzed with fear. Their gazes locked onto Das, not daring to move.
They weren't just happy for the broken sword—they were terrified of the man who held it. There was an unspoken fear that this warrior, already so fearsome in battle, would become even more dangerous in his anger.
The stillness was suffocating. And then, like the breaking of a dam, the battlefield erupted into chaos once more.
"KILL… KILL… KILL…"
The Taurus soldiers, now driven by both fear and desperation, surged forward, their bloodthirsty cries filling the air. They targeted the few remaining soldiers of Princess Amara's army, knowing that their victory was now within reach.
Within mere moments, the last of Amara's fifty brave warriors fell, leaving only the princess and a few sturdy soldiers standing beside her.
Amara's heart pounded in her chest as she watched her defenders drop one by one. For the first time, she truly felt the icy grip of fear—the fear of death. She could see the enemy's sword swinging towards her face, and in that moment, she realized how close she was to meeting her end.
As the final two soldiers at her side crumpled to the ground, Amara's eyes widened in horror. The blade was descending towards her, and she could already feel the cold breath of death on her skin. But just as the sword was about to strike, Das moved with lightning speed.
His broken blade, still sharp and deadly in his hands, intercepted the enemy's weapon, stopping it mere inches from Amara's face.
The clash of steel rang out, and Amara gasped, her breath caught in her throat. She looked up at Das, who now stood between her and certain death. His face was a mask of blood, his eyes burning with an unyielding fire.
"Stay behind me!" Das commanded, his voice steady despite the chaos around them.
Amara, her body trembling with fear, clung to Das like a small bird caught in a raging storm. Her sword, now feeling more like a burden than a weapon, slipped from her grasp. Das had become her only support, the only thing standing between her and the overwhelming force of the Taurus army.
"I... I can't... I can't do this..." She cried out in a shaking tone.
"You don't have to, Just hide behind my back." Das cried out, while slicing the enemies with both swords.
"Push… He is the only one! Let's end this now."
"There is not much time left. Everyone, push together."
The battle raged on around them, but for Amara, the world had narrowed down to just this one man. She could see the determination in his eyes, the way he moved with such precision, defending against the relentless attacks of the Taurus soldiers.
His blades danced all around, pushing the enemies away before they crushed him with numbers.
Far away, atop the human pyramid, Amara's sister, Leela, watched the scene unfold with a mixture of fear and hope. Her hands were clasped together, her knuckles white as she prayed silently to the gods. But her prayers were not just for her sister's safety; they were for Das, the man who now held both their fates in his hands.
Meanwhile, the Taurus army pressed forward, their numbers seemingly endless. General Harries, standing in the watch tower with shaking hands, was anxiously watching the clock.
There were only ten minutes left until the end of the battle. Ten minutes that could mean the difference between life and death.
Das, fully engulfed in the war, knew that every second counted. But instead of rushing, he took his time, carefully defending against the enemy's onslaught. He was a wall of iron, impenetrable and unyielding, standing as the last line of defense for Princess Amara.
"Keep going! Push the spear forward. Throw your daggers. This man should die today." the Taurus commanders shouted, their impatience growing with every failed attempt to breach Das's defense.
"He can't hold out forever! We must kill him today. To victory!" The commanders continued to shout loud.
But Das showed no signs of weakening. His body is continuously supplied with cosmic energy. Occasionally, he manipulated the enemies to throw weapons on their own people.
The distant Sun is settling hurriedly, painting the sky with an orange hue.
Amara, her body trembling uncontrollably, clung to his armor as tightly as she could, her eyes wide with fear but also with an unwavering trust in the man who fought to protect her.
Her face is filled with fear and brain is buzzing with scenes of death.
The clock ticked down, each second feeling like an eternity. General Harries, still watching with bated breath, could barely keep his hand steady as he prepared to press the siren that would signal the end of the battle.
With every passing minute, the Taurus soldiers grew more frantic, their attacks becoming more desperate. They threw everything they had at Das, but he stood firm, deflecting blows and countering with lethal precision. The ground beneath them was slick with blood, the air thick with the stench of death, but Das remained unbroken.
Amara's grip on him tightened, her small frame shaking with the effort to hold on. She looked up at Das, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and admiration. In him, she saw not just a warrior, but a savior—a prince in blood-soaked armor, fighting against impossible odds to protect her.
