Chapter 66: I am Mohan Das!
"Ohhh… Brother Han, this is really a storage ring!" Fatty cried out as Mo Han stored a spirit stone bag inside the ring.
Mo Han smiled and passed the ring to Fatty to check.
"Hahaha… Brother Han, it has always been one of my goals to purchase a storage ring one day. I have read many books about storage rings. Finally, the day has come for me to touch one with my own hands," Fatty Lambu said excitedly while moving the spirit stone bag to and fro.
Mo Han smiled as he lay down on the back of the spirit crane to take a short nap. The mountain eagle was following them from a distance, flying on its own.
The shining sun was covered by red-colored clouds. The spirit crane carrying all three of them was moving at a normal pace.
While Fatty Lambu was playing with the storage ring, Jia Kai stood on the spirit crane, observing the terrain with a serious look. She had several doubts about the identity of Mo Han, and the death scene of Shadow Fang kept replaying in her mind.
Even after thinking for hours, she still could not understand how Mo Han was able to summon an inner spirit. Usually, cultivators who crossed the Grand Master rank would awaken an inner spirit. But Mo Han was still a Qi Condensation cultivator.
Time passed slowly as they crossed the mountain desert area.
Mo Han woke up from his long slumber and stretched his body lazily. To his right, Fatty Lambu was sleeping with a loud snore, the new storage ring on his finger.
Mo Han slowly moved toward Jia Kai, who was still staring at the empty sky.
"Why do you look so bothered? Is there any problem?" Mo Han asked calmly, sitting beside her.
She turned her head toward Mo Han and said, "To be honest, I am worried about your identity. How did you awaken your inner spirit?"
Mo Han was silent for a long time, breathing deeply.
"That's not my inner spirit," Mo Han said at last.
Both shock and confusion appeared on Jia Kai's face.
"It's a weapon spirit," Mo Han revealed.
"Weapon spirit???" Jia Kai uttered in shock. Several thoughts rushed through her mind. The concept of weapon spirits was nothing more than a myth to her, something found in children's stories.
"I know weapon spirits exist in this world, but they are in the hands of top rulers. How did you get one? Who are you actually? Do you really belong to the Han family?" Jia Kai asked several questions in a row, wondering whether Kent was the prince of an empire.
Kent shook his head. "I am not what you are thinking, and I am not the owner of the weapon spirit."
"What are you saying?" Jia Kai's confusion doubled.
"Those weapon spirits chose me and made me an emperor. Now, I have come to this Twin Sun Realm to find the creator of the weapon spirits and save him from a critical danger. You are a clever girl, Jia Kai; I hope you understand what I am saying." Mo Han explained briefly while gazing into the horizon.
Jia Kai silently thought for a long time, trying to connect the dots. She also knew that asking for more secrets wouldn't be wise. Mo Han had already revealed a lot indirectly.
"I have one last question. Do you have any connection with the Han family?" Jia Kai asked calmly, now clearer about Mo Han's position.
"Nothing. My full name is Mohan Das. The elder of the Burning Sun Peak misunderstood my name with the Han family." Das replied honestly.
Unknowingly, a smile appeared on Jia Kai's face as she thought about how Mo Han had acted at the Khan family auction.
"I really can't imagine how Zoya Khan would react if she knew the truth," Jia Kai said while staring into Kent's eyes.
Both of them suddenly burst into laughter.
Fatty Lambu woke up to the sound of their laughter.
"What's so funny?" Fatty asked sleepily.
Mo Han and Jia Kai exchanged a look and laughed even louder.
"Does Lambu know about the Han family matter?" Jia Kai asked curiously.
"He's the one who convinced me to act as a Han family boy. If not for him, I would have denied the Han family identity in the first place," Mo Han explained with a smile.
"I can guess that," Jia Kai added with a laugh.
"You are talking about Brother Mo Han's family. I can guarantee that my Brother Han will bring pride to the Han family," Fatty Lambu announced with a hysteric smile.
The evening twin suns slowly faded as the three continued their chat. After a few more hours, they chose a secluded place among the big stones to rest for the night.
After landing, Mo Han made a campfire and began brewing herbal tea.
The two beasts quickly went to sleep after eating the dry rations.
"Brother Han, from next time, we can carry more fresh and tasty foods in the storage ring without losing the aroma. I'm really fed up with eating these dry rations," Fatty said as he munched on a dry bun.
"It's better if you stop showing the ring inside the Burning Sun Peak Sect. Even the elders don't have the luxury of a storage ring," Jia Kai suggested with a stern look.
Fatty Lambu nodded in understanding.
"By the way, Brother, do you think Ron Lee escaped from the Pink Blossom Tree Sect?" Fatty asked.
Before Mo Han could reply, Jia Kai answered, "Ron Lee doesn't need to escape. Those girls will throw him out after making good use of him."
Mo Han smiled knowingly.
"Then isn't that a problem for us? That Ron Lee might blame-us for visiting the Pink Blossom Tree Sect!" Fatty said with concern.
"Don't worry about Ron Lee. After entering Burning Sun Peak, I will become a main peak disciple. If he really makes any allegations, I know how to deal with him. Just ignore him," Mo Han said confidently before closing his eyes, arms folded behind his head.
With that, they went to sleep without any worries.
