The Exploration Group takes some distance from the [Dark Shadow Hurdle], as Khallyon prepares himself to destroy the immaterial construction.

The [Hurdle] has 200 Units of Durability; 40 Åyûrïc Nodes transformed into the same amount of Basic Ammunition It would be fair to tear down this protection; However, the 10 Units of Nullification per impact make this option completely unviable.

{If I use "Standard Ammunition" instead of "Basic Ammunition", I would deal 30 Units per hit, as I already subtract the 10 negated Units because of the Nullification; Although, I would need 7 Rounds to destroy the [Hurdle], and that would make me waste a total of 56 Åyûrïc Nodes}

The only options that Khallyon has available at the moment, are his "Experimental Ammunitions", "The Never Achieved Theoretical Ammunition of 27 Åyûrïc Nodes", and the "Explosive Dodecahedron".

{The Experimental Ammunitions are out of question; While is my strongest and arguably more constant source of damage; I am still quite slow to fire more than three, and I need 7; Not to mention that I would rather keep this as a secret}

"I think we are still too close to the [Hurdle]"; Say Khallyon increasing the distance between him and the hole under the Dead Tree "I will use the Rocket Launcher"…

{It is possible to put the Åyûrïc Nodes in layers!, Maybe I can try the same for the Ammunition of 27 Åyûrïc Nodes, or attempt something similar}

With the ideas set as a pending matter for the future; Khallyon compresses the polygon to make it more compact; Throwing the Explosive Dodecahedron towards the [Dark Shadow Hurdle].

The ammunition explodes on contact with the immaterial black protection, creating a blazing blast of 25 meters of diameter that evaporates all traces of the black mist with the luminosity provided by the Åyûrïc Energy.

The residual brightness and shockwave are notable, but not exaggerated; The latter being diminished by Khallyon fast intervention, as he creates a square [Åyûrïc Hurdle] employing Nine Åyûrïc Nodes, eight in the perimeter and one in the center.

However, even with Khallyon's prompt reaction, Leroy's Shadow flickers as the Cadet becomes dizzy, collapsing forward over the grass and gasping for air, feeling how his lungs are being burned from inside, incapable of utter a word or scream in pain.
