Chapter 1
“Papa~ wake up~ papa~”
“Yusheng? Yusheng?”
‘Who are you calling about? Who? You won’t even let me have a good night’s sleep?’
Wen Yusheng felt very irritable for no reason. He remembered that yesterday all his roommates had collected their homework and had to hand it over to the study committee. The final exam was coming soon, and he had to study all night! Trying to achieve a miracle: study the entire semester in seven days, and then what? Oops, he couldn’t remember. He was a little hungry.
‘Let’s wake up and eat something first.’
Waking up with a frown on his face, Wen Yusheng was dazzled by the bright light.
“Doctor! Doctor! He’s awake! He’s awake!”
Then there was the sound of hurried running.
Before Wen Yusheng could wake up, he was suppressed by a small milk bag thrown into his arms and coughed.
“Cough cough cough—!”
“Chen Weinian! Come down!”
A deep man’s voice rang out, and then the milky and plump meat dumpling pressed on his chest disappeared.
Chen Weinian was held by Chen Yumo, his short legs kicking in the air, and his little arms swinging.
“Papa~ Papa~”
Chen Yumo had no choice but to put the small dumpling on his shoulders. “Your papa is not feeling well now. Can you be more obedient?”
Chen Weinian grabbed Chen Yumo’s hair with both hands and drooled. “Niangao*… obey!”
As soon as Wen Yusheng woke up, he saw that one large and one small looked almost like they were carved from the same mold, staring at him with bright eyes.
Besides…
A circle of doctors was watching eagerly, waiting for Wen Yusheng to make any movement. They began to check.
“Director Chen, Mr. Wen is basically fine.”
“Papa!”
Chen Yumo patted little Niangao on the back. “Does he still need to be hospitalized?”
The doctor looked at Wen Yusheng and then at the form in his hand. “Basically, there is nothing serious, and he can be discharged.”
Just when everyone was breathing a sigh of relief, Wen Yusheng’s voice broke in.
“Excuse me, who are you?”
Next, Wen Yusheng saw a crack on the face of the man who had been calm since he woke up.
“Yusheng? You don’t recognize me?”
Wen Yusheng put on his best standardized smile. “Sir, should we get acquainted?”
Chen Yumo did not answer but turned to look at Wen Yusheng’s attending physician. “Explain it.”
The doctor did not expect that Wen Yusheng had no problems with anything except his memory.
He pulled Wen Yusheng into the operating room and observed it again, and finally came to the conclusion that Mrs. Chen…ah, no! Mr. Wen had lost his memory.
Two hours later…
Wen Yusheng looked at the sleeping meat dumpling in his arms and then at the tired-looking man.
Pointing to himself in disbelief, he asked, “My child?”
Chen Yumo didn’t say anything. He took out the DNA paternity test result sheet that had just been expedited from the hospital. Now, the evidence was conclusive. Even if Wen Yusheng didn’t want to believe it, it was true.
And now he had to accept that he had forgotten nearly ten years of memory and that the man in front of him was married to him.
“I don’t believe it!”
“Yusheng! This is evidence.”
Then Wen Yusheng looked at the two imperial marriage certificates handed over by the man in disbelief.
A bolt from the blue!
Not only had Wen Yusheng married young, but the most incredible thing for him was that his partner was an Enigma!
Oh my God!
His dream since childhood had been to marry a sweet and lovely Omega and live happily together at home!
Note
*Niangao is the nickname for Chen Weinian, the meaning is rice cake.
