Bound To The Cursed Prince

I was there again, the creepy smell, stone crumbling into the mist. This time around, I still couldn't see him properly, he was turning his back to me.

I called out to him"Daemon". He turned to me, I couldn't see his face but he spoke"find me Emilia, the ruins".

I woke up, eyes wide open, but this time around I knew what he was, who he was to me, so he wasn't that scary as before.

I stood up from the bed to adjust the curtains, and that voice came into my mind again "the ruins".

I looked around out of fear. I went back to the bed to sit and I saw a note. I read it out loud "the ruins". I gasped"how was this possible". How did he give me the note. I looked around again, nothing just my usual room. I hurriedly got dressed, did my hair and headed outside.

I went for a walk again, the smell if the flowers always calmed me down.

While walking, I heard a voice from behind"Emilia". I turned to look and I saw my dad. I replied"hey dad". He looked at me with joy"how is our deal going".

Shoot! I forgot about the deal. I was thinking of what I should tell him then he called out to me"Emilia, which thoughts are you this engulfed in".

I replied "I am working on the deal". I lied. I don't know how to lie. He caught me and said"i know you have not started doing anything on the deal, I just want to tell you to take this serious".

I replied "I will". "Didn't you know your grand mother has been here for the past 5 days".my dad said. I told him I had no idea .

I rushed to my grandmother's chamber. On entering she threw me a big welcoming hug.

My grandma is the only person in my family I really loved, she knew all the things that was going on in my life.

I sat her down and asked her how she was doing, from what she told me she was doing quite well.

I told her about all my dreams and how I thought I was the last princess to stop the curse.

"Emilia, all I can say is that you should be careful, because this curse comes with a great sacrifice" my grandma said.

"Grandma can you tell me what you went through so I should know what I hv to go through"

She started

"I was also seventeen when I had this dream of a person. I could feel he was in so much pain.

This so called pain was so hefty, that even his power and our love couldn't quench.

When I had the dream, I was quite scared but there was no one to listen to me.

I eventually found out the location.

When I found out, I left the palace to find him.

On walking into the sinister place, the door behind me closed, I saw a wall but I could feel something drawing me from behind the wall.

I moved closer to the wall despite my fear.

I touched the wall and suddenly the wall split into two.

I was shocked, but I kept on walking, then I saw a room I walked into it and called out his name"Lucien" I knew his name.

Then suddenly he woke up and came towards me, he looked so lifeless. From that time on I took care of him.

He was so cute, I almost taught he was a God, well turns out he was a prince.

A Cursed prince and I had to help him to recover his special power with love so he could use it to break the curse.

We both taught he was strong enough, but eventually it wasn't enough and it absorbed him, his Ashes still remain with me".

Tears were sliding through her cheeks. I've never felt the pain of loosing a loved one, but I could feel her pain.

"But I need to do this, if I don't it will absorb the kingdom". I told her

She replied"i know but just be careful, because this time around it's not just his curse if you get involved without breaking it you can also loose your life".

I looked with fear but she assured me that she was with me in this.

I consoled her and left the chamber to my chamber.

In my chamber I was confused I had two choices now;

TO RUN AWAY AND LEAVE THE KINGDOM TO FACE THE WRATH OF THE CURSE

OR

TO AWAKE DAEMON AND TRY TO BREAK THE CURSE WITH LOVE.
