"Ugh... what happened? Why does my head feel so dizzy?" Nova groaned while slowly opening his eyes. The dizziness that tormented his head felt like someone was hitting his skull with a hammer. He tried to sit up with some difficulty, his body felt stiff and aching everywhere.

When his vision began to clear, Nova was shocked. What he saw was no longer the park where he had last been, but instead a dark sky stretching above. Around him, tall trees towered with branches intertwining with each other.

"Where is this? How did I end up in the middle of a forest like this?" Nova stood up with staggering movements. His legs still felt weak. He turned left and right.

"Huh?! Where are Hina? Noah? Ena?" He spun 360 degrees, his eyes scanning every corner of the pitch-black forest. He saw no one except the tall trees.

Nova tried to remember the last event before he lost consciousness. At that time he could hear the sound of footsteps approaching. After that, everything went dark.

"Don't tell me we were kidnapped?" he muttered.

WHOOSH!

Suddenly, something shot from within the forest at high speed. Nova quickly jumped to the side, dodging with a swift movement. Something sharp stuck into the ground right where he had been standing.

"What's that? Blood?" Nova looked at the object stuck in the ground. It was shaped like a needle made of thick red liquid. "Who's there?! Come out now!" he shouted.

"Hohoho... you have higher speed than these three friends of yours." A heavy and cold voice was heard from behind the trees. Slowly, a figure in a black robe emerged from behind a tree to Nova's right.

"Yo, human," the creature greeted with a casual tone.

Nova stared at the figure before him and showed no fear at all toward that being. "You... vampire?" he asked with a flat tone.

"Kekeke... you're not bad after all. I guess you know I'm a vampire because of these fangs, right?" The vampire grinned widely, showing two long and sharp fangs.

"I was just guessing, I heard that vampires have perfect blood manipulation abilities."

"Oh, so you know about that?"

"I'm wondering, where exactly are we now?"

"Hmm, now you are in the vampire realm and I'm the one who brought you all here by making you unconscious," the vampire explained.

"So, that smoke was from you?"

"Yes!"

Nova just realized that the vampire was carrying something in both hands. In his right hand, he saw two figures he knew well - Ena and Hina. Both girls appeared unconscious, their bodies hanging limply. Meanwhile, in the vampire's left hand, Noah was also unconscious, but Nova could see there was a wound mark on his left cheek.

"By the way, I didn't expect these two kids could already use their powers at such a young age." The vampire lifted Ena and Noah slightly higher. "This boy has lightning power, and this girl has light power."

Nova wasn't surprised by that information. He already knew about both of their special abilities.

"But unfortunately," the vampire continued while dropping all three of them to the ground inhumanely, "because they're still young, their energy depletes quickly when using their powers. They can't control their energy flow properly yet."

Nova clenched his fists. He knew that most people could only awaken their supernatural powers when they were 16 or 17 years old. Ena and Noah, who were 11 years old, were indeed still too early to master their abilities perfectly.

"I never expected you would know things like that. It seems you've lived around humans, haven't you?" Nova tried to divert the vampire's attention.

"Yes, as you said, I've always lived around humans. It's just that they don't know there's a vampire around them." The vampire chuckled. "I've been living disguised as an ordinary human."

"So that's why you can speak human language? No wonder." Nova nodded. "I also didn't expect to meet a vampire. Weren't vampires destroyed by someone? Are you a vampire who managed to survive?"

The vampire's expression immediately changed drastically. His face looked angry upon hearing Nova's words, and a dark aura began to emanate from his body. The trees around them began to shake, as if there was a small earthquake.

"It seems what I said is true. Do you want revenge against humans because the one who destroyed the vampires was a human?" Nova remained calm despite feeling the terrifying aura pressure.

"HAHAHAHA! Everything you said is true, kid!" The vampire exploded in terrifying laughter. "Yes, as you said, I am a vampire who managed to survive. And now I will take revenge on humanity that has annihilated my race!"

The dark aura emanating from the vampire's body grew stronger. The grass around his feet began to wither and die. Nova could feel the air around him becoming heavy and stifling.

"Since you look afraid of me, now I will show you how terrifying a vampire's power is and make you fear me!" The vampire raised his right hand high.

Nova saw thick red liquid flowing from his palm - vampire blood. But not ordinary blood, rather blood that had been transformed into his weapon.

"Taste my Needle Rain, kid!" the vampire shouted.

The blood flowing from his hand immediately transformed into dozens of sharp needles, each 20 centimeters long.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Dozens of blood needles shot toward Nova at incredible speed. Nova immediately ran to the side, his legs moving quickly to avoid the first attack. The needles stuck into the ground, immediately causing the grass around them to wither and blacken.

"Not finished yet!" The vampire grinned sadistically.

This time he used both hands. Blood flowed more heavily, forming more needles - maybe around 50 or 60 needles. The vampire moved his hands in a certain pattern, making the needles fly in formations that were difficult to dodge.

Nova jumped to the left, rolled to the right.

"You're quite fast for a small child," the vampire said while continuing to launch attacks. "But how long can you last?"

The vampire's attacks became faster and more difficult to dodge. Nova began to be overwhelmed at that moment.

WHOOSH!

A blood needle managed to hit his left shoulder, leaving a 5-centimeter tear. Nova immediately felt incredible pain, as if something was burning his skin from inside.

"Argh!" Nova groaned in pain while holding his shoulder.

"Kekeke! Finally hit!" The vampire laughed satisfactorily. "LET'S GO AGAIN!!!"

WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Two more needles hit Nova's right leg and right arm. Incredible pain immediately spread throughout his body. Nova began to feel his body becoming stiff and difficult to move.

"This... poison?" Nova tried to keep standing despite his body beginning to weaken.

"Exactly!" The vampire walked casually toward Nova. "The poison in vampire blood will paralyze the victim's nervous system. First you'll feel your body stiffen, then gradually you'll lose control of your muscles. In 10 minutes, you'll be completely paralyzed and unable to move at all!"

Nova felt his body becoming increasingly stiff. The vampire poison began working quickly. His legs began to feel heavy, like there were 10-kilogram weights hanging from each leg. His hands also began to be difficult to move.

"Now it's time for the final attack!" The vampire raised both hands above his head. "Blood Technique Level Two: Hell Blood Bomb!"

Blood began flowing very heavily from both palms, like mini red waterfalls. The blood didn't fall to the ground, but gathered in the air forming a giant ball the size of a basketball. The blood ball spun at high speed, creating wind vortices around it.

Nova could feel the incredible air pressure from that blood ball.

"With this technique, I've killed hundreds of humans!" The vampire shouted with glowing eyes. "You'll become victim number 347!"

The blood ball grew larger and spun faster. Strong winds began blowing from all directions, making leaves scatter and the surrounding ground lift up.

"Die!"

The vampire threw the giant blood ball toward Nova. The ball shot at incredible speed, leaving a wind trail that made the surrounding trees bend.

Nova, seeing this, immediately tried to run away. But his body could no longer move freely. The vampire poison had spread throughout his body, making his muscles stiff and weak. He could only run with stumbling steps.

"No... I have to dodge!" Nova tried hard to move his legs. But the more he tried, the more his body refused to obey his brain's commands.

Vampire poison works by paralyzing the nervous system that connects the brain to muscles. So even though Nova wanted to run fast, his brain couldn't communicate commands properly to his leg muscles. As a result, his body movements became very slow and uncoordinated.

"Damn! My body can't move!" Nova fell hard. His legs could no longer support his body weight. He could only crawl with difficulty, but the blood ball's speed was much faster than his crawling movement.

BOOOOOM!

A tremendous explosion occurred right where Nova was. The ground exploded forming a crater 2 meters deep, trees within a 10-meter radius fell instantly, and thick smoke billowed into the air. The explosion sound was very loud, like a bomb exploding.

The explosion's force was tremendous. Nova was thrown very far - maybe around 15 meters - until his body crashed into a large tree with a 1-meter diameter. The hard impact caused the tree to fall backward with a terrifying rumbling sound.

"ARGH!" Nova groaned in pain. His entire body felt crushed. His ribs might be broken, his left arm felt very painful, and his head was throbbing. Blood flowed from his mouth, nose, and several wounds on his face.

"HAHAHAHA!" The vampire laughed very satisfactorily while looking at the destruction he had created. "I thought you would be a little different from your three friends. Turns out you're just the same as them. Weak and useless!"

The vampire walked casually toward Nova who lay motionless under the fallen tree. His steps were calm and confident, as if he was already 100% sure that Nova wouldn't be able to fight back.

"You know what? The poison in my blood is very special," the vampire said while walking. "I've been developing this poison for a very long time. This poison won't immediately kill the victim, but will make them completely paralyzed for 24 hours. So you can still feel pain when I suck your blood later."

Nova appeared completely motionless. His body was covered with dust and debris from the earlier explosion. Blood flowed from several wounds on his face and hands.

The vampire stopped right in front of Nova who was still lying there. He crouched down and looked at Nova closely with glowing red eyes.

"Hmm... you're still alive. Good," the vampire said while touching Nova's forehead with his index finger. "Warm blood is indeed tastier than corpse blood."

The vampire stood up again and looked toward Nova's three friends who were still unconscious in the distance.

"After I finish with this kid, I'll take his three friends as backup food," the vampire muttered while licking his lips. "Young people's blood is indeed the freshest and sweetest. Especially blood from those who have supernatural powers. The taste must be special."

He looked back at Nova with an evil smile. "Don't worry, I won't kill you quickly. I'll suck your blood slowly until you feel incredible suffering. Consider this as payback for all the vampires that have been killed by humans."

"But before that," the vampire raised his hand, preparing to launch a small attack to torture Nova. "I'll play with you first. You'll surely love it."
