Born in Another World With Two E Rank Skills!?

Chapter 50: Chapter 50: The Lord's Arrival

The early morning mist hung low over the fields of Wrenvale. A strange hush settled over the village, broken only by the gentle rustling of leaves. The sun had not yet risen, but every member of Kael's group was awake, armor fastened, blades sharpened, magic flowing steady in their veins.

They stood on the outskirts of the village, eyes scanning the treeline beyond. Kael's Omni-Vision was active, watching for even the smallest ripple of corruption.

And then, the shadows moved.

The first wave of shadow beasts emerged in silence, slinking out of the trees like oil poured across the ground. Hulking, malformed, and seething with darkness, they charged.

Kael and the others met them head-on. Balen and Mira fought side by side, their coordination effortless. Balen's sword danced with terrifying grace, cleaving through shadows like air, while Mira's lightweave magic flashed and seared with holy radiance.

Across the field, Mira's mother loosed phantom arrows that pierced through multiple enemies at once, each glowing shaft returning to her quiver before vanishing in a shimmer of magic. Dalen unleashed his Starburst technique, explosive radiant motes detonating in clusters, incinerating several beasts at a time. Even Kael joined the fray with precise teleport strikes, slipping through shadow gaps and reappearing just behind his targets to land devastating blows.

Despite the ferocity of the shadow beasts, their party cut them down with brutal efficiency.

And then, the silence returned.

Kael blinked, his breathing steady. No more beasts emerged. For a long moment, there was only the rustling wind.

Then the air turned cold.

From the edge of the trees, the shadows deepened unnaturally. A figure stepped out—tall, robed in black and deep crimson, a porcelain mask hiding his face. The air around him shimmered with unstable power.

Maledir.

Before anyone could react, the Lord raised a hand.

The earth shook.

Chunks of debris—stone, wood, even weapons from the fallen—rose into the air and hurtled toward Kael and the others like a tidal wave of destruction.

Kael's instincts screamed. He triggered Minor Teleport, vanishing from one spot to another, redirecting and dodging objects mid-air with tight, precise movements.

But even as he moved, he activated Omni-Vision, locking eyes with the masked figure.

Emotional colors surged around Maledir black and crimson, fury and hatred pulsing from him like a second aura. Kael felt his breath hitch. It wasn't just rage. It was personal.

He reached out with his mind, focusing on every trajectory, every incoming projectile.

And then one of them—an iron rod—vanished midair… and reappeared behind him.

It struck Kael hard across the back, knocking him forward with a gasp.

He hit the ground, rolling once before scrambling to his feet.

Teleport.

The Lord had teleportation.

And from the weight and speed of that object—it wasn't Minor Teleport. It was something more. Something stronger.

Kael's heart pounded. They were facing a master of space manipulation.

The real battle had just begun.
