"But why can't I use my quirk?"

"Because you could cause harm or hurt people if you're not careful."

"But I have good control, and I just want to develop it to see how strong it is."

"That's fine, but the answer is still no."

"But I could..."

"NO."

"..."

A calm family conversation soon turned into a scolding for Sukuna. They were in the living room, where Sukuna was sitting on his knees with his head bowed while Ayame stood in front of him, arms crossed, glaring at him.

At first glance, it might seem like a simple scolding because the child had done something mischievous. However, seeing the numerous cuts all over the room, claw marks here and there, and a web-like cut in one corner of the room, the scolding escalated more and more until shouting could be heard throughout the building.

Sukuna endured nearly three hours of Ayame's reprimands for almost destroying the apartment's living room. He apologized for the mess he had caused and promised not to do it again. The reason for the room's condition? Sukuna had gotten overly excited while testing his technique, using different amounts of cursed energy to make his attacks stronger or weaker.

Since it was something new, he started launching cuts everywhere but later realized the chaos he had created. While trying to figure out how to fix it, Ayame arrived home and found the room in that state, resulting in his scolding.

After the scolding and punishment, Sukuna and Ayame went to the dining room to have dinner. There was an uncomfortable silence between them. Ayame didn't know what to say after witnessing the destruction in the living room, and Sukuna stayed quiet because he knew he had messed up. The silence lasted almost the entire dinner until Ayame gathered the courage to break it.

"How about we go to the park near the school this weekend?"

"Really?"

"Yeah, sure, we can go there to have fun, plus it will help me forget what you just did, because I'll have to call someone to fix it."

"But I'm grounded, right?"

"Of course you are, and you'll stay grounded. Now, let's go have fun and relax because when we get back, that's when your real punishment will start, and you'll help me clean and organize the house until you finish high school. Understood?"

"....."

"I didn't hear you, I'll say it again. Understood, Sukuna?"

".....yes."

"Good, sounds perfect. Now go brush your teeth and go to bed, you have school tomorrow."

Saying goodbye to Ayame, Sukuna went to brush his teeth and then went to bed. The next morning, Sukuna woke up feeling sleepy, got out of bed, and went to the bathroom. There, he washed his face to get rid of the sleepiness.

After getting out of the bathroom, he went to the living room to sit on the couch but stopped for a moment when he saw all the cuts he had made the previous day. Feeling a little guilty, he picked up some things that had fallen and tried to arrange them or set them aside.

As they left the house, Ayame took Sukuna to school and dropped him off at the entrance. Before leaving, she reminded him not to use his quirk or his punishment would be extended until he finished high school.

Swallowing nervously, Sukuna nodded, troubled because he wanted to keep exploring his cursed technique. As he entered the school, he saw all his classmates talking amongst themselves, showing off their quirks—some were quite impressive, while others were more simple.

When he got to his classroom, everyone was really excited because they all had their quirks by now. Everyone wanted to show off the power they had just obtained, and they certainly impressed a few while leaving others speechless.

Several kids approached Sukuna to ask about his quirk (cursed technique) because they couldn't quite understand it. Some of the kids had seen Sukuna summon large dogs at the beginning.

Sukuna, seeing the curiosity and excitement in the kids, simply told them his quirk (cursed technique) was related to the Chinese calendar. He explained that not only could he summon those two dogs, but in the future, he would be able to summon other animals—but only if he grew stronger.

With this simple explanation, several kids understood, while others were confused because they'd never heard of a quirk like that, or a hero who could summon animals.

Some thought his quirk was cool, while others found it rather pitiful. However, there were also mocking comments, especially from Bakugo, the explosive bully of the class. He said and thought Sukuna's quirk was pathetic because if you summoned animals to battle against a strong quirk, you'd lose that battle.

Sukuna stayed to listen to Bakugo's mocking remarks about his cursed technique, and with every insult, more of Bakugo's friends joined in to make fun of him. But there were a few particular jabs that made Sukuna angry, especially the ones mocking Ayame. For a brief moment, he felt the urge to silence them, and without realizing it, he raised both his arms, placing his hands together, both fists clenched.

His left hand was on top, and his right hand beneath it. He bent his left knee slightly and pointed at Bakugo. Bakugo continued to mock him, but when he saw Sukuna strike an odd pose, his smile widened even more. However, before he could keep making fun of him, a chilling phrase rang out, sending a shiver down everyone's spine.

"Sacred artifact, oscillate and vibrate..."

In an instant, every student in the room felt a chill run through their body. It wasn't just the classroom—everyone in the school felt the shiver, along with an overwhelming urge to run. Their legs began to fail them, several students collapsed to the floor, and tears began to stream from their eyes. But no one felt it stronger than Bakugo, who was staring at Sukuna with a fearful expression.

He felt as though everything around him was dark and that there was no one else but Sukuna and him. But he was terrified—a deep fear. His instincts screamed at him to run and not to look back, but his body didn't respond.

Tears started streaming down his face, and a wet stain appeared on his pants. Everyone was paralyzed by fear and couldn't move. Sukuna kept chanting the summoning incantation.

"Eight grip strength, divine general..."

A feeling of excitement, amusement, and fear surged in Sukuna's heart. Seeing Bakugo's terrified face gave him a strange feeling, but he felt like he couldn't stop. He knew something bad would happen, and he would regret it later, but this feeling was so exhilarating, and a wide, excited smile appeared on Sukuna's face.

He felt like he could finish it, and something was going to happen, but a sense of unease started to take over his heart. He didn't know what it was or why it was happening, but then he heard the cries of the children. Sukuna finally reacted. He saw how everyone was lying on the floor, crying or unconscious.

He immediately stopped chanting and closed his mouth, quickly separating his arms and ceasing the use of his cursed energy, compressing it so it wouldn't affect anyone else. But it was too late—everyone in the school had felt the overwhelming sensation of fear, which was incredibly strong and suffocating for many people.

Sukuna realized what he had just done and turned to look at Bakugo, who was on the floor, spitting foam and starting to move in a strange way. Panic began to take over him, and he ran to a teacher who was outside the classroom, but when he found him, he saw him lying unconscious on the floor. Sukuna knew he had created a huge problem. He searched the teacher's jacket for his phone and quickly called for medical help and the police.

It didn't take long before several police officers, ambulances, firefighters, and heroes arrived at the school. But when they entered, they were met with something that shocked them. Several children were crying, some unconscious, and others starting to show health problems. They immediately began tending to them, but there were too many people, so they called for reinforcements.

Sukuna had created chaos and decided to pretend to be a victim. He pretended to be unconscious in his classroom, hoping no one would discover he was the one who caused the problem, especially that the children in his class wouldn't tell the police it was him.

Soon, he felt someone checking his health, and due to his nerves, his heart rate began to increase. But it seemed to help because there were several children in a similar situation, and they were immediately taken to medical attention.

Although he pretended to be unconscious, he stayed awake the whole time, listening to the people around him. The heroes and police decided to investigate the cause of the problem and find out which villain had tried to cause chaos in a school full of children.

The guilt grew stronger because all of this wasn't caused by the summoning he almost did. It happened because he got excited when he said the first words of the chant and released his cursed energy. But as it went on, it began to increase, and it ended up affecting the entire school with his cursed energy.

On top of the guilt of releasing his cursed energy, now he had another problem: if the children in his class knew it was him, because everything started when he began chanting, and what Bakugo was going to say.

(Aaaahhh, why did I do that!!!)
