Chapter 32: Chapter 32
The Change
Scene: Plane Flight to Europe
I landed at the airport with my bags and suitcase in hand. As I walked through the arrival gates, I spotted a person holding a sign with my name on it: "KAISER."
When I got closer, the man—clearly an agent—stepped forward. His accent was thick, but I understood him well enough as he called out to me.
Agent:
"You are Kaiser, right? I'm here to pick you up."
He shook my hand firmly, then reached out to take my suitcase.
Kaiser :
"Yeah, that's me. And I hope the team can welcome me... because I'm going to make this the best club in the world."
I said it with confidence, gripping the chain around my neck. Hanging from it was a small locket. Inside the locket: a picture of me and Alina.
Flashback Scene: Rooftop, Las Vegas
The night sky was endless and full of stars, high above a rooftop penthouse in Las Vegas. Two silhouettes stood there—me and Alina.
Her legs were wrapped around my waist. She was still in her fighter gear, tape across her nose from her match earlier that night. Her long raven-black hair was down and flowing freely. There was a glow in her eyes—she had just won her debut fight.
She was smiling as she stared up at the stars. Her arms tightened around my neck, and in that moment... for the first time in both of my lives, I felt it.
A reason to change. A reason to fight fate. A reason to be more... because of her.
Alina:
"You know, I always wondered why you never asked me to be your girl."
She looked down into my eyes, her face caught between curiosity and a teasing smile. One finger gently touched her bottom lip.
Kaiser :
"Maybe because the only love I ever knew hurt me. I used that pain as fuel to make people fear or hate me.
But you... you're the one thing I don't want to risk losing. Not yet. Not like this."
She placed her palm softly against my cheek, eyes locking with mine. She had my full attention now.
Alina:
"And what's the other reason? 'Cause right now, I feel like the only thing missing is—"
While she spoke, I started moving slowly—step by step toward the edge of the pool that was behind her. She didn't notice. She was too focused on me.
Kaiser :
"You know what? You have a point... but the real reason is that you always get so unaware when you're around me.
Like right now."
I grinned as I finished that sentence—and then I let go.
She gasped just as I pushed her backward into the pool. Her reaction was priceless. There was a brief moment where realization hit her face like lightning... and then—
SPLASH.
She went under.
When she surfaced, wet hair plastered over her face, her eyes met mine. I couldn't hold back the laughter.
Kaiser :
"This is what I mean! How can my girlfriend be this unaware?"
I laughed—really laughed—something I hadn't done in a long time. She swam back toward the edge of the pool, fuming.
Kaiser :
"Ahaha! Ahaha haaa! Look at you! That expression on your face!
Man, I wish I could relive that moment again, just to see your face one more time. You looked like I betrayed you or something!
You should know me well enough by now."
Absolutely. I'll keep everything you wrote exactly as it is, just as you asked — no removing or altering your original structure — and I'll expand it naturally by doubling the length through added internal thoughts, emotion, detail, and buildup while matching your tone, pacing, and energy.
Here's the extended and enhanced version of your scene:
As I speak to her, lying on my stomach at the edge of the pool, I face her. The smooth tiles beneath me are warm from the fading sun, and I can feel the slight chill of the water brushing against my fingertips as they hang just over the surface.
The pool's glow dances across the walls like liquid light. And as I look into Alina's eyes, the light in them is a bit strange—unfamiliar to me. There's something softer there, something deeper, as she swims closer.
That guarded fire I've always known in her gaze is still there, but it's gentler now, flickering with a quiet curiosity.
Then, just like that, she leans in and kisses me.
Alina:
Damn, you should talk less, you know. But you really do keep me on my toes, huh? I wonder what else you'll do.
I stare at her flirty expression, lips still slightly parted from the kiss. Her tone is playful, teasing, but I know her well enough to feel the edge of truth hiding beneath the words.
She wants to see more from me—she's daring me to show her something real. And I do. I don't hesitate. I jump into the pool.
The water breaks around me as I plunge in, bubbles swirling around my vision before I resurface.
Now, two figures stand in the pool. Water ripples gently at our calves. The sun catches each drop rolling off Alina's skin, making it shimmer like she's carved from moonlight and fire.
The remnants of our earlier spar—tagging, chasing, playful combat—still linger on her body: light red marks blooming against her flawless skin, testament to her strength and mine.
Water trickles down from her long, raven-black hair, framing her face like shadows against the glow of dusk.
I stare into her eyes, letting the silence speak for me. My own ash-blonde hair hangs in soaked strands, drops falling from it with a steady rhythm.
The stillness between us is thick and alive. A few quiet breaths stretch out, long and heavy. My arms slide around her hips.
Her hands gently come to rest on the sides of my face. She brushes the wet hair from my forehead, her fingertips warm against the chill of the water. Her expression—kind, open—is rare, something she guards closely. But she lets me see it now.
Kaiser:
You're right... I'd like more of this. It really takes the pressure off things.
For a moment, it feels like time itself pauses. The air smells of chlorine and summer heat, the sky tinged gold and violet above.
Then—flash!
A sudden burst of white light. The click of a camera shutter echoes across the water.
Kaiser/Alina:
Hey! Why would you ruin everything?!
Alina's Mother:
It was a beautiful moment that I wanted to remember—of my daughter.
Alina:
Really, Mom? Could you not have waited? It was finally happening!
She rushes out of the pool toward her mother—nothing like her usual calm, poised self. She's flushed, flustered, and I can't help but smile. It's not often I see that side of her.
I walk out of the water slowly, the weight of the moment still clinging to my skin like a second layer. As I reach them, I extend a hand toward the camera.
Kaiser:
This picture... I want to have it. Alina, since the day we started sparring, we've always been more than friends. In short, in my eyes, you're my girlfriend. I just wanted to see how long it would take for you to realize it. But a girl like you is too dense and unaware.
I stick my tongue out with a grin as I say the last part, teasing her just enough to see her reaction flare up.
Alina:
Hey! What do you mean, dense?! I'll show you dense!
Kaiser:
Wait... wait! I didn't mean—
Flashback End
I place my hand on my neck where a red bite mark rests, still faintly sore from earlier. My fingers brush over it slowly, and I look at the picture inside the locket I now hold in my hand.
The edges of the photo are still slightly damp from the pool water. A small smile creeps across my face. It's the kind of smile you don't fake—the kind that sneaks up on you when memory pulls you under.
The world around me feels duller compared to that moment. That single image glows brighter in my head than the whole city skyline outside the window.
Agent:
And that is what we strive for here. I hope you'll bring gold when you debut. The season starts in two weeks.
The agent's voice cuts through my thoughts, but I'm slow to return to the present.
Agent:
Hey... hey. Did you hear what I said?
Kaiser:
Oh—yes, yes. I'm just a bit tired from the jet lag... from the travel.
Scene Shift
Kaiser (inner monologue):
This club… Real Madrid. It's something I always wondered about in my past life. With so little information out there, only whispers and wild theories, I never imagined I'd step foot in its sacred halls.
If this world truly mirrors the one I came from, then this—this moment—is the divergence point. From today onward, everything changes. I'll be part of something much earlier than I ever should've been. This is history unfolding ahead of schedule.
The Training Grounds of Real Madrid
The morning air hums with intensity. Cleats hit the turf. Whistles echo across the fields.
A blonde-haired figure moves with purpose and rhythm, feet gliding across the pitch like music in motion. His body moves like a dance—a dance full of passion, dedication, and devotion.
There's hope in his movements, a refusal to ever stop, a will that burns to play forever. His aura is electric, untamed, full of hunger. A hunger for something more.
Kaiser:
The scion of Madrid... Leonardo Luna.
He turns toward me, sharp eyes catching mine, and a grin spreads across his face.
Luna:
Hey—you're the German prodigy, no? The current New Generation Eleven.
He walks over with confidence, the type of presence that makes the pitch seem smaller under his shadow.
He places a hand firmly on my shoulder. Immediately, I feel it—his pressure. It's heavy and radiant, the aura of someone forged by legacy and expectation.
Luna:
Show me your passion burns bright enough... for Madrid.
A flame ignites inside me. My eyes flash blood crimson, a shade only madness can summon.
Kaiser:
Can your passion devour my madness?
