Tatsuki spoke as well, "Yeah, it's not their fault that they're good looking."
"Tch" Keigo said in annoyance as he started to eat his lunch.
Mizuiro introduced himself and the others at the table to Kiyota as Ichigo hit Keigo in the back of his head. Kiyota laughed along with the rest as he watched the drama unfold before his eyes.
"Hey, do you wanna go to karaoke with us?" Said Mizuiro as he turned to Kiyota.
"Im sorry I can't go today, maybe some other time" said Kiyota.
"What about you?" Mizuiro said as he looked at Ichigo.
"Sorry, I can't either." Ichigo answered.
"Why? You didn't even try to make an excuse." Said Mizuiro.
Ichigo looked at Mizuiro and responded, "because I have to go see a girl"
"What! No way. Is she cute?" Asked Keigo
"Shut up" said Ichigo as he started to walk away.
Tatsuki followed behind him, asking him if he really had to go see a girl. Everyone watched as Tatsuki chased after Ichigo. Kiyota looked at Orihime, who had been quiet the entire time. She was staring at Ichigo's back as he left with Tatsuki.
'I'm sure he's talking about going to the street with the dead girl's memorial site and put down some flowers.'
Kiyota ate his lunch quietly as he thought to himself.
Orihime, Mizuiro and Keigo were talking amongst themselves. Keigo was trying to flirt with Orihime but she was obviously uninterested, while Mizuiro just ignored Keigo. Kiyota watched as he ate his lunch.
Suddenly Orihime looked at Kiyota with a questioning look, asking, "Jin-kun, you live in Minamikawase don't you?"
Kiyota nodded as he responded, "Yeah, how did you know?"
"I saw you come out of your house the other day while I was walking home with my friends," said Orihime.
Kiyota laughed because of this and questioned her in a joking way, "So... why were you watching me?"
Orihime blushed in embarrassment and quickly stuttered, "n-no reason! It's not like I thought you were an cyborg assassin sent from a different planet trying to take over Karakura town!"
'This girl has a crazy imagination.' Kiyota thought to himself while laughing.
"Wow. I can assure you I'm not an assassin, much less a cyborg." Kiyota said while laughing.
The bell rang, signalling the end of lunch. Everyone got up and left for their class. Kiyota went to his class and sat down. He spent the rest of the day looking at the back of Ichigo's head and doodling in his notebook.
'I wanna try something' Kiyota said to himself, trying not to smile or laugh.
Kiyota tore out a tiny piece of paper from the corner of his notebook and scrunched it up into a ball. He threw it at the back of Ichigo's head. The piece of paper hit Ichigo on the head and made him turn around to see what had hit him. Ichigo saw Kiyota sitting in the back row focusing on his work and not distracted. Ichigo looked around the room to find the culprit, but instead he found Orihime staring at him in a dazed and dreamy look with her mouth open. Ichigo just looked at her weirdly before turning back to the front.
Kiyota covered his mouth with his hand, trying to stop himself from laughing out loud as he saw Orihime's reaction to Ichigo's attention. He could tell that she liked him.
'Poor girl. She doesn't know what is going to happen to her in the future. Well, maybe I can try to help her, but that won't be necessary for a long time.'
Kiyota spent the rest of the day not paying attention in class and thinking about what he should do now.
'After school, I guess I should go home and just wait for nighttime to fall, so I can start my transformation.'
Suddenly Siri's voice interrupted Kiyota's thoughts.
"New quest, check status panel"
'A quest? Now? I'm still in class. Siri open status.' Kiyota asked in his thoughts.
Status panel opened, showing kiyota's attributes. Kiyota opened the quest panel, and he saw a new quest issued to him.
