'Didn't I die? I felt the impact. I felt my bones break. That shit was real. Then how am I still here? Is this some kind of afterlife? Did I get reborn? Shit, if I did, then what the hell was that? So unrealistic. This isn't a novel.'
He walked to a door at the end of the hallway, somehow knowing it was a bathroom. He wanted to know what he looked like. As he went inside, he walked to the mirror and saw himself in it.
'Holy crap... what the hell?'
The face that looked back at him was not his own. His face was actually quite handsome, though a couple of things threw him off. His eyes were purple, and his hair was black, it reached his nose. His hair was quite long compared to his style in his previous life, though he didn't dislike this new hair. He leaned in closer to the mirror while checking his eyes.
'Is this normal? I hope there isn't something wrong with my eyes, because these are some pretty weird ass colours.'
He sighed as he looked down at himself. He had a skinny body which looked delicate and maybe even malnutritioned.
'Wait a second, this reminds me of something... No way! I look exactly like Lelouch Lamperouge. He was a main character in an anime called Code Geass. Amazing anime really.'
Suddenly his head started to hurt. Memories of his current body came rushing in as he sat on the bathroom floor, clutching his head in agony. As fast as the pain came, it also receded. After a few minutes, the pain was finally gone, and he slowly stood up, holding the sink as support.
'My name is Kiyota Jin, I am 15 years old. Same as my previous life, and I am still a high school student. My parents have been dead since I was 8 and my grandmother has been taking care of me. Recently, I have moved out of my grandmas house to live on my own. Moved out... hah, what a joke! More like my grandma kicked me out so I could learn how to "take care of myself'! At least we are rich, so I don't have to worry too much about money. That is probably why my grandma let me live on my own so easily, the damn woman doesn't even care about me, always thinking of herself.'
He sighed again as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. His face had gotten thinner, and his skin looked paler. He went into the shower, wanting to take a bath. He didn't know why, but he felt like he hadn't taken one in ages.
After taking a warm shower, he went back into the bedroom and sat on the bed with his towel was wrapped around his waist. He covered his face in contemplation.
'What the hell, I died, and now I'm Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass. But it doesn't seem like I'm in that world. The town I'm in is called Karakura. Hmm... It sounds quite familiar, but I just can't remember from what. It's driving me crazy.'
He turned to look at the clock on his wall, which said 8:00 am.
'Shit, I'm late for school! Its supposed to be my first day too! Damn it!'
He rushed to get ready and left the house. As soon as he left, he felt the breeze on his face as he ran out the door, but he didn't pay attention to it. He was running in a hurry, and he didn't have time to check his surroundings.
He ran up to a bus stop and waited for the bus, but bus there was about to leave. Its doors were closing. He tried to run faster to the bus but he wasn't going to make it in time. As he was almost there, he put his arms out, trying to signal the driver to stop.
'I'm not making it, this is bad. Come on, damn it. Only if I could stop time, I'll would make it.
But just then, he felt the wind around him stop, and the bus driver who was about to leave froze.
'What? Why did the bus stop moving? And... why did the wind stop?'
He looked around himself and saw that everything around him had stopped. The birds, the leaves, and even the bus. His heart was beating fast as he took a step.
'It seems I can move fine?'
Suddenly, he heard a voice in his ear. The voice was feminine and very familiar.
"System Binding to host... System activating... 10%... 40%... 100%... Binding complete, host now has the Bleach System. You may call me... Siri."
