Black Ops: Anbu Naruto

"Let's go," Naruto said, giving the orange frog's head a pat. "You and Gamaken ready? I'm counting on you guys."

Upon hearing Naruto's voice, Gamaken replied, "What's the plan, Mr. Naruto?"

Naruto pointed at the fortress below and everything around it. "We're going to destroy that place, then move east—we'll sweep everything in our path. Are you ready?"

Gamaken nodded and raised his weapon and shield, preparing for battle.

Meanwhile, Gamakichi's eyes widened. "You mean you want me to jump down there right now and fight those ninja? You owe me a drink after this."

"Shut up," Naruto said, closing his eyes and thinking to himself, "Let's make this quick and decisive. Nine-Tails, you've got my back, right? I'm not doing this alone."

"Of course. Here I come," the Nine-Tails roared, and natural energy chakra surged into Naruto at his command. "Quick and decisive—I still want to go back to sleep."

"Believe me, I don't want to stay here long either," Naruto thought, his eyes shifting into Sage Mode as he activated his Sharingan beneath his contact lenses.

"Maki, you'll ride on Gamakichi and use genjutsu to disorient the enemy. We need to clear the way. Gamaken, your job is to create chaos—stay close to us."

"Got it. Leave it to me!" Gamaken said, slamming his shield into the ground, pulverizing the enemies below into dust, clearing a path for them. "Let's go, Mr. Naruto!"

With Sage Mode enhancing him, Naruto leaped straight off Gamaken's head without even using frog oil to slow or stop his descent, conjuring an enormous Rasengan in his right hand.

He landed right among the ninja trying to flee back to the fortress, obliterating them along with the surrounding ground using his boosted Rasengan.

As the smoke cleared, before the enemies could react, he was already charging in, felling them one by one with kunai.

On top of Gamaken's head, Gamakichi and Maki watched Naruto plow through them without pause.

Without saying a word, Maki put on a white porcelain mask so the frogs wouldn't see her face.

"We should go too. Senior Naruto might need some cover to avoid getting ambushed."

"Alright, hold on tight," Gamakichi called out before leaping from Gamaken's head, following closely behind Naruto. Swinging his powerful limbs, he easily knocked down the Kusagakure ninja blocking their way.

"Why aren't you using Shadow Clones, Big Bro Naruto?" Gamakichi asked, kicking three enemies aside as soon as he landed.

"In Sage Mode, I'm limited to five Shadow Clones," Naruto answered mid-battle. "If I push the Nine-Tails' chakra too hard, it could spiral out of control—and then I'm finished. Under these circumstances, five clones aren't going to change much."

"Oh, then what about that move that blew up the whole mountaintop?"

"Shut up! I'm powering it up—just give me a sec!"

"Shut up! Hey you, the girl riding on my back, get Big Brother Naruto to shut up and focus on the fight!"

"Both of you, shut up and focus on the fight..." said Maki, still riding on Gamakichi's back as she watched the frogs continue battling.

Maki focused her energy, preparing to use her technique. She formed a series of hand seals.

[Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death]

Naruto and Gamakichi stood back-to-back, fending off enemies while Gamaken advanced toward the fortress. Dozens of Kusagakure ninjas were ensnared by vines erupting from the ground. The vines kept growing, twisting into drooping willow branches.

Some had only an ankle or arm bound, while others had a single wrist caught. Others were completely engulfed, while some had their necks squeezed until they choked and fell lifeless — as if hanged by unseen cords.

What a horrifying genjutsu!

Gamakichi, before they overwhelm us, let's finish these guys off," Naruto said, placing his hand on Gamakichi and transferring wind-natured chakra into him. "Don't waste Maki's hard work."

Gamakichi nodded and puffed his cheeks. Naruto unsealed the Amaterasu on his left arm, channeling the deadly black flames into Gamakichi's oil nozzle.

Gamakichi's oil, enhanced by Naruto's wind chakra, gained both speed and power. The black flames of Amaterasu ignited the oil, acting as an accelerant and engulfing enemies in roaring fire. Gamakichi directed the flames, creating a protective wall around Naruto, Maki, and himself.

The agonized screams of those consumed by fire broke the illusions binding many others...

"But Senior Naruto, now we're stuck too!" Maki reminded him. Naruto simply smiled at her. She recalled how he reacted when he first saw Amaterasu.

He could reseal the flames back into his arm. No matter how casually he played it off, no matter how quickly the fire spread — and yet here he was, doing it before her very eyes.

"Well then... What do we do now?"

Standing before the fortress, Naruto gazed at the setting sun in the west before glancing eastward.

"Gamaken! Head east across the bridge! I need you to reinforce the Konoha ninja fighting the enemy!"

Gamaken halted its relentless charge forward. Looking at the Grass ninja trying to attack him, whose powerful jutsu merely bounced off his shield, he asked, "Are you sure about this?"

Naruto summoned two shadow clones beside him, raising his right hand above his head. This made Gamaken hesitate briefly before giving a nod.

"Alright then, I'll do my best, Mr. Naruto!" Then he bounded eastward in a powerful leap.

When Maki saw Naruto's clones gathering wind chakra around the Rasengan, she gasped aloud and focused her energy, ready to deploy medical ninjutsu at a moment's notice.

"Senior Naruto, didn't I already tell you not to use that jutsu?" she scolded. "You'll rip your arm apart!"

"I told you, I've overcome this problem, Maki-chan! I'm fine!" Naruto shouted in response.

At that moment, the Rasengan, enveloped in Wind Release chakra, began emitting a sharp whistling sound.

However, instead of charging forward and colliding with his target like he had done previously during his fights with Itachi and Sasuke, he dismissed his Shadow Clones and hurled the Rasengan forward.

[Wind Release: Rasenshuriken!]

It spun rapidly through the air, far more agile and precise than an actual shuriken, moving so fast that no low-level ninja could evade it.

Upon contact with the fortress wall, it pierced straight through, then exploded with tremendous force, shattering the outer wall into fragments and causing the rest of the structure to collapse with a thunderous roar.

Maki gaped in shock at the sheer destructive power of this new Rasengan variant.

Just as Naruto said, his arm remained completely unharmed.

Yet, as Gamaken vanished in a puff of smoke, the remaining Kusagakure ninjas quickly regrouped.

Naruto began deflecting incoming projectiles using kunai, while Maki jumped back onto Gamakichi's back.

"Should we head for the bridge?" Maki asked, already drawing her tanto and bracing for battle.

"To the bridge," both Naruto and Gamakichi replied in unison. Naruto summoned five Shadow Clones to guard Gamakichi's rear, ensuring their safe retreat to the edge of the bridge.

"Let's go, Gamakichi!" he shouted. "My clones and Maki-chan will cover you. We're fighting our way through!" He charged toward the enemies blocking their path, with Gamakichi closely following behind. Side by side, man and frog fought, cutting down one enemy after another before they could even raise their weapons or complete hand seals.

They still had two kilometers left to reach the bridge.
