Chapter 17: 12.The boy from hage who touch the heaven
Grim Aragon is originally from Hage Village, like Asta and Yuno.
He lives at the church with Father Orsi, Sister Lily, and the other children.
After Grim's battle with Fuegoleon and the near-destruction of the Vermillion estate due to his Singularity Magic: Heaven's Palm Dharma Body – Blessings of the God Killer, the kingdom quietly moves Grim to the Royal Capital for containment and training.
Asta and Yuno, upon learning the truth, are shocked and vow to train harder.
The church family is deeply worried about Grim's safety, especially Sister Lily.
Hage Village Church:
The morning bell rang across Hage Village.
Inside the small, worn-down church, the atmosphere was quieter than usual.
Sister Lily carefully folded Grim's blanket, eyes lingering on the empty bed. She touched it with a gentle hand, sighing.
> "He's really gone…"
Father Orsi stood by the window, arms behind his back, face unusually serious.
> "We always knew he was different. That mana... it was too much for this place."
She nodded, eyes heavy. "But he's just a boy, Father. Four years old, and they've already taken him into the Capital… they say he destroyed part of the Vermillion estate without trying."
> "Not destroyed," Orsi corrected. "Erased. The mana knights said reality folded in on itself when he used that spell."
> "He's never even had a proper birthday…"
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of training outside.
---
💪 Outside: Asta & Yuno React
Sweat flew as Asta swung a wooden sword harder than ever, panting heavily.
Yuno stood silently nearby, hands glowing with wind mana, sharpening his control.
> "I can't believe it," Asta said between breaths. "Grim? That quiet kid from the church? He almost collapsed the Vermillion estate?!"
Yuno nodded. "I heard even Fuegoleon couldn't stop him."
Asta paused, eyes burning with new resolve.
> "Then we can't fall behind. If Grim's already out there, fighting people that strong… we have to catch up. We promised we'd all reach the top together, didn't we?"
Yuno closed his eyes, a breeze swirling around him.
> "We will."
But they were both lying to themselves.
They were scared.
Grim's power wasn't just "strong." It was unnatural. Like a divine being barely held in human skin.
---
Back at the Church, one of the children—Aruru—whispered to Sister Lily.
> "Will Grim come back?"
She knelt beside him, brushing his hair gently.
> "I hope so. He promised to protect us. Even if the world feared him."
Her heart ached.
> Please… don't lose yourself, Grim.

🌁 Scene Shift: Royal Capital – Inside the Palace Barrier
Grim Aragon sat quietly beneath a floating spell seal, surrounded by anti-collapse runes, layered gravity wards, and binding enchantments.
He stared at his own hands.
> It wasn't even my full power… I didn't want to hurt anyone. But the moment I gave in… the sky fractured. Space screamed.
> What am I becoming?
From behind a magic mirror, several royal researchers murmured:
> "Singularity Magic is classified as Pre-Creation Tier now. It doesn't bend mana—it annihilates logic."
> "The boy isn't just powerful. He's unstable."
And just beyond that—
In a corridor cloaked in mist—
Nebra Silva stood, arms crossed, watching silently.
> They're scared of you… but I'm not.
> If you ever lose control again... I'll be the only one allowed to destroy you. Or save you.
Her mist pulsed with tension.
And so began Grim Aragon's true training.
