After Hanzō received the information regarding Yuta's victory over the Raikage, he suddenly regretted his previous decision.

Why had he agreed to the old fox Ebizō's opinion without proper consideration? Now, seizing territory in the Land of Fire was out of the question; Konohagakure would likely be content if they didn't destroy the Land of Rain.

"It seems I must secure my own escape route. These major powers are unreliable." Hanzō mused to himself.

At the border camp of the Land of Wind, Chiyo, covered in dust after a recent battle, returned to the camp, muttering curses under her breath as she walked: "That damn Hatake Sakumo is infuriating! He destroyed three of my puppets at once."

Then, she thought to herself, "No! His fighting style is far too restrictive for puppeteers. I must remind my son and daughter-in-law to exercise extreme caution when they encounter him. They mustn't be careless."

Back in the main tent, she was about to summon her son when she saw him rushing in with a scroll.

"Mother! The Kazekage-sama has sent urgent information!"

Before Chiyo could speak, her son exclaimed as soon as he entered.

Chiyo was perplexed. What significant matter could arise at this juncture? Could it be that the Land of Whirlpools had fallen?

Temporarily setting aside her confusion, she took the information and checked the seal. Finding it intact, she unfurled the scroll. After clearly reading its contents, her expression darkened.

She had considered Hatake Sakumo a formidable opponent, but who knew Konohagakure possessed another kekkei genkai suspected to be stronger than Magnetic Release, or perhaps an even more potent kekkei tōta?

"Why does the Sage of the Six Paths favor Konohagakure so greatly!" Chiyo held a pessimistic view of the ongoing war.

Even facing four nations, Konohagakure still possessed reserves of strength, while they, the Sand Village, had already exerted their utmost effort. With the exception of the stubborn Bunpuku, all other high-level combatants of the Sand Village had been deployed.

Konohagakure also had the enigmatic Nine-Tails jinchūriki, Mito Uzumaki; Yuta's wife, Kiko; two Kage-level powerhouses stationed within the village; and Danzō, the shadowy figure of the shinobi world, lurking somewhere, secretly fanning the flames and sowing discord.

For a moment, she even forgot to warn her son to be cautious of Hatake Sakumo, a lapse that would ultimately lead to the deaths of her son and daughter-in-law.

In the Land of Whirlpools, Kirigakure, having dedicated the majority of its forces to the assault, was the last to learn of Kumogakure's surrender.

After listening to his subordinate's report, the Mizukage emerged from his tent, his hands clasped behind his back, gazing at the smoke rising from all around Uzushiogakure. It was the Kirigakure shinobi attacking the barrier of Uzushiogakure, and he fell into deep contemplation.

But when he recalled his comrades who had perished in their efforts to contain Isobu and Saiken, the Mizukage shook his head, banished Yuta's image from his mind, turned, and commanded the Kirigakure shinobi.

"Instruct them to intensify the offensive and seize the Land of Whirlpools as quickly as possible. We have no time to waste."

"Yes!"

The Mizukage lowered his gaze to the ground and sighed deeply.

After a short while, the shinobi who had just gone to relay the order returned, shouting excitedly, "Report to Mizukage-sama! For some unknown reason, a breach suddenly appeared in the barrier of Uzushiogakure, and our forces have entered!"

Upon hearing this, the Mizukage immediately understood that other forces had intervened! But now was not the time for such considerations. His usually impassive face showed a hint of excitement as he immediately ordered,

"Command the troops! With the exception of the Uzumaki clan, all other individuals encountered must be thoroughly searched. Instruct the surface forces to blockade the waters surrounding the Land of Whirlpools and eliminate anyone attempting to forcibly escape!"

Just as the Mizukage finished speaking, another shinobi rushed in.

"Mizukage-sama! The alert troops have detected individuals escaping from the south of the Land of Whirlpools. Should we pursue them?"

"Those sand-eating ruffians are likely disappointed at finding nothing of value this time. They were discovered destroying the barrier! Hmph! They deserve it. Forget it, no need to pursue them."

"Yes!"

Konohagakure, despite the intense Second Great Ninja War, saw little disruption to the daily lives of most citizens, except for the families with members fighting on the front lines.

At the Yuta residence, Kushina followed behind Nawaki, looking around with wide-eyed curiosity.

"Wow! It's so beautiful!" she exclaimed upon seeing the Yuta family's artificial lake.

Nawaki said proudly, "Of course! I heard that my master designed all of this himself!"

With that, he puffed out his chest, and his eyes couldn't help but glance at Nonō, who was standing nearby.

Since Nonō had moved to the Yuta residence, Nawaki and she had interacted more frequently.

After a period of care under Kiko's care and guidance, Nonō had undergone a complete transformation. Not only had she become much more adorable, but her spirit and energy were also increasingly resembling Kiko's.

Nawaki found himself increasingly drawn to her company. Simply seeing her brought him immense joy. Thus, his praise for his master was not only sincere but also an attempt to impress Nonō.

"By the way, speaking of Master! Everyone has been talking about how he defeated the Raikage and brought an end to the war between Konohagakure and Kumogakure. Master is so incredible! As his disciple, I must work diligently; otherwise, I'll become a laughingstock."

Nawaki continued his enthusiastic praise of Yuta, subtly moving closer to Nonō, hoping to gain her favor.

"Yeah! Yuta-sama is amazing! Don't you think so, Ganta?" Nonō was delighted to hear Nawaki praising her father, but due to her good upbringing, she merely smiled without comment.

Kushina was different. She felt immense gratitude towards her savior. Although her mother remained indifferent to most things in Konohagakure, she didn't interfere with Kushina's feelings.

"Tch! It's alright!" Ganta said nonchalantly, but the smug expression on his face made Jirō and Yuto behind him cover their faces in embarrassment. Couldn't he at least lower his head while saying that?

Minato followed behind them, clenching his fists. 'Master is amazing! I will definitely work hard too, to protect everyone in the future.'

But when he saw Kushina chattering with Ganta, he felt a strange sense of annoyance for some reason.

Kiko observed everything clearly. Seeing the way Nawaki looked at Nonō and the way Minato looked at Kushina, a wave of emotion washed over her. 'It's so wonderful to be young.' Minato's mother, who had come to assist her, noticed Minato's awkwardness and smiled apologetically.

"Please forgive his rudeness!"

"Tsk! What's the big deal? If I hadn't acted sooner, Yuta would have been lured away by some vixen." Kiko waved her hand dismissively.

It could only be said that married women were sometimes more formidable than men.

In the Hokage's office, Danzō sat on a chair to the side, staring blankly at the Hokage's seat.

"Why? Why hasn't Sarutobi stepped down yet? Why has that little Yuta become so powerful?! I can't endure this any longer! Sensei!" (TN: In Dolph Ziggler's words. "It should have been me!")

Ever since receiving the intelligence from the front lines, he had been fixated on the seat where the Third Hokage usually worked.

Finally, he let out a low growl of resentment, and his sinister eyes gleamed with a chilling light, like a venomous snake patiently stalking its prey.
