Moore waited for Enny to get someone who will be capable to have the business proposal with her.
To her, turning the marriage to business will make it a lot easier for her to accomplish. Since there is no strategy of business she is unfamiliar with. She believes it will go well, in as much she present the proposal very well to whoever Enny brings to her.
With that, she decides to go to the Morgan's family estate to check on her grandfather, the great Morgan.
The moment she gets into the university, she left the Morgan's family estate to live on her own because of her scheming stepmother Monica with his son Mike. Monica and Mike are not easy fits. She did not want to deal with their trouble at company and back at home too.
Which is why she moved out of the estate even though the Morgan's family estate is rightly hers but she has to let go for a while before she finally win against the two devils and take back what is her's.
As soon as she enters the Morgan's family estate, inside the large luxurious sitting room. The Morgan's maids quickly line up to greet her.
"You are welcome young madam" they all chorused and bow their heads. Moore knows that she have to just nod and walk in between, the maids did not lift their heads until she leave their sights.
She slowly went upstairs to meet with her grandfather of seventy years old. Looking at the great Morgan, one will not think he is already seventy because he looks fifty.
The old man sit on an exotic chair in the sitting room upstairs discussing something with Monica, Moore's stepmother and Mike her stepbrother.
The moment the two sees that Moore walks in, they look perforated since Moore is the thorns in their flesh.
To the stepmother and son, Moore is the one blocking Mike's destiny. Because Moore has always top her class while Mike is below his class, Moore has always been best in everything compared to Mike.
Monica believes Mike should he the one in the position where Moore is right now, because he is the male child. Even though she shamefully snatch someone's husband and wants to claim every right of the Morgan's family.
"Moore" grandpa Morgan calls and smile the moment he sees Moore. Moore has never disappoint his expectations in everything she does. He is just too proud of her, unlike Mike who disappoints him everytime.
Moore smile and walk towards grandpa Morgan.
"Sit beside me" grandpa Morgan pat the space beside him eventhough Mike is sitting next to him. Mike shift in anger yo give Moore space to sit, but he could not show his anger in front of grandpa Morgan.
Monica, his mother also looked pissed.
"Don't you say you will visit the Morgan's family estate only by invitation? I don't think anyone invites you here today" Monica said to Moore sarcastically, making it obvious Moore is not wanted in the Morgan's family estate.
"Or father-in-law, did you invite her and I don't know?" Monica quickly adds so that grandpa Morgan will not get angry with her statement.
Moore knows her thought and smirked softly.
"Do the owner needs to be invited to her own house?" Moore also replies sarcastically. Monica looks pissed with Moore's reply.
When Mike sees her mother pissed, he butts in.
"Moore, you don't seems to have respect for your elders now that you become the CEO. Don't you know that can destroy the reputation of the Morgan's?" Mike decides to use that to use that against Moore's position as the CEO of Morgan's foods and products.
"Everyone in the country knows am a respectful being, I just don't have respect for the disrespectful" Moore lash back at him, making the I don't care eyes.
"Moore! Did you just say am disrespectful?" Monica couldn't take Moore's sharp mouth anymore.
"Alright! Alright!!" Grandpa Morgan quickly cut them off. Because he knows they are going to start arguments again.
He knows that Moore living together with Monica and Mike was tormenting for Moore, because every opportunity the mother and son have, they always wants to bring Moore down. Which is why he had allow Moore leave the Morgan's family estate when she said she is moving out.
"I actually invited Moore here" grandpa Morgan said to ease the tension between the three.
"Oh!" Monica let out disappointed.
Moore smile mockingly at the mother and son who got disappointed.
"I call Moore here because of Mike" grandpa Morgan said and pause.
Moore frowns, likewise Monica and Mike wondering what grandpa Morgan mean by that.
"Monica, you have been asking me to give Mike another chance to prove himself worthy" grandpa Morgan adds.
Moore looks slightly angry, she knows that Monica and Mike will not just let her be now that she becomes the CEO of Morgan's foods and products.
Mike and Monica looks happy with what grandpa Morgan said.
Morgan's family did not only own Morgan's foods and products. Morgan's foods and products is just one of the Morgan's businesses. Morgan's family owns a business empire which controls all others businesses of the Morgans.
Though Morgan's foods and products is not the first but the well known and most successful. But controlling the Morgan's empire means you still have control over the Morgan's foods and products. Not only Morgan's foods and products but all other Morgan's family businesses.
"Grandfather" Moore calls slowly. She felt cheated for her grandfather giving Mike another opportunity.
"Moore, I know this is unfair to you, but you are the elder. You have to consider your brother" grandpa Morgan tells her.
Mike and Monica frowns, they hate when Moore is refers to as Mike's elder.
"She is just a year old than Mike. She shouldn't be considered as an elder" Monica murmurs.
"Grandfather, why is giving your own grandson and the only heir of the Morgan's empire an opportunity to prove himself unfair? Female child ends up going to their husband's house and are to claim inheritance in their husband's family. I think that is the fair thing" Mike tries to taunt Moore with his word.
"Capable female child can claim the father's inheritance and also the husband's. It is such a blessing to have two inheritances. Unlike some male child who will not inherit anything from neither their father's nor their wife's" Moore lash back.
"Moore!" Mike let out angrily.
"Why do she always have things to say everytime?" Monica breathe angrily.
"That's enough!" grandpa stop them.
"I need someone to take power from the upper level of the Morgan's business" grandpa Morgan said and pause.
Mike and Monica smile happily because they know what grandpa Morgan meant by upper level, it refers to Morgan's business empire.
"I will want the two of you to prove to me that you are capable to do that. Especially you, Mike" grandpa Morgan adds.
Mike frowns, he thought grandpa Morgan will just give him the position.
"Grandfather, why should she be involved too?" Mike ask angrily.
"You know i have always been fair. I will give you both a task like I use to do. You have to prove your are worthy to control the whole of the Morgan's business empire" grandpa Morgan tells them.
Moore smirked.
"Grandpa, Moore is already in charge of the Morgan's foods and products. Why should she be giving opportunity to compete with me again?" Mike ask angrily.
"Just follow what I said. Am giving out this opportunity just for you. You must make use of it very well and prove that you are capable" grandpa Morgan said and sigh.
Moore looks worried with what grandpa Morgan said. With what grandpa Morgan said, the competition will probably be favourable to Mike than herself.
"Any of you that first get Berries to collaborate with Morgan business empire will be the one to take power from the upper level" grandpa Morgan let out.
Moore, Mike and Monica looked shocked.
Berries is a powerful company that Morgan has been trying to get them to collaborate with Morgan for years and they keep refusing Morgan's collaboration. They are like insurmountable mountain to Morgan. Even Moore herself has tried to make Berries collaborate with Morgan but Berries refused.
That is the only thing she could still not succeed at, in her life. But now, grandpa Morgan wants them to collaborate with the Berries.
"How?" Mike mutters sadly. He has thought it will be something he could do, but it's seems he will never get that position.
"But father-in-law, you know that Berries has beefs with Morgan and they won't want to collaborate with us for years now. Are you trying to make Mike go to a defeated battle?" Monica looks angry.
Moore is neither angry nor happy, mentioning Berries always make a remember something she call a stain but she also knows that Mike trying is a lost cause.
Mike and Monica also knows that it is actually a lost cause. They know that what Moore could not do, Mike could never succeed.
"I know, the old man who have beefs with Morgan passed away recently and Berries now have new CEO. I think it is the right time to propose collaboration" grandpa Morgan tells them his reason.
"But we don't know this new CEO. What if he is just like his grandfather?" Mike voiced out.
"That is my task for you two. Figure it out" grandpa Morgan said and stand up then leave them.
"Mom!" Mike calls angrily.
"Don't worry, you will win this time?" Monica said assuring Mike. She stand up and pull Mike with him while eyeing Moore badly.
Moore sigh when they all leaves, she actually did not want the Morgan's business empire. But she cannot also let Mike and her mother have it, because Mike taking over the Morgan's business empire is the same has taking the whole of Morgan.
She sigh again looking stressed all of a sudden.
She has a new noodles product she have to launch in few days, she suddenly gets to know that she is pregnant and must get married quickly and now she have to win the task her grandfather give out.
"Why do I have to get pregnant now?" She thinks sadly.
