Chapter 10: Fruition and Parting
When Fuyou returned home after finishing her work at the girls' school, there was another note left there again.
"I'll be away for a day or two. Be careful."
The note also included a vase with a pink daffodil in it.
Madara's sensitive consideration makes me happy, but also sad.
The heat remains in September.
Recently, there have been rumors that they will decide on a representative for the village and a name for the village. The outline of the village will be completed soon.
However, recently Madara said he had something he needed to do, and he frequently traveled to the Uchiha territory and other places, and seemed to be researching something on his own. He wouldn't tell me what he was researching.
Fuyou went out shopping to ease the loneliness of being at home alone. Unfortunately, Itsuki was out on an errand for the daimyo of Fire Country as Hashirama's secretary.
Fuyou reaches out her hand to the sky where scaly clouds are floating and takes a deep breath.
"I'm sure Madara-sama has a reason for doing this. It'll be absolutely fine."
She got home and prepared dinner. Cooking a meal for one person seemed pointless and troublesome. She put a few side dishes on the table and started to eat.
Fuyou thinks that humans are truly convenient creatures.
At times like these, I remember the time long ago when I used to sit at the dinner table with Butsuma, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Tsubaki...
After finishing our meal, we looked up at the night sky from the veranda and saw a waxing crescent moon floating in the sky.
"I wonder where Madara-sama is looking at the moon right now... I'd love to have some moon-viewing sake with him on the next full moon..."
◆
Fuyou hurriedly entered the house without even taking off her shoes at the entrance.
Hearing Fuyou's footsteps running down the hallway, Madara opens the door to his room and pops his head out to see what's going on.
"Madara-sama! Are you going to become the village chief?"
"...It's just been recommended. It hasn't been decided yet."
"I heard at school today that there's going to be a vote to decide the village leader, and Madara-sama is one of the candidates, so I'm really happy!"
Fuyou gasped and looked at Madara with a happy look on her face.
"I probably won't be chosen."
"That's not true. Because..."
"What do you know? You don't know anything about ninjas or the Uchiha."
Fuyou is confused by Madara's unusual behavior.
"S-sorry... you're right. Sorry."
The elated mood she had felt earlier vanished in an instant, and Fuyou prepared to leave Madara's room with a gloomy expression.
"...Sorry. I said too much."
"That's not true. Madara-sama is right. I'm sorry I got carried away..."
Fuyou replied in a low voice, her back turned to Madara.
Madara stood up and hugged Fuyou from behind.
"Hashirama was the one who established the village. And also... Tobirama doesn't trust the Uchiha, seeing them as a risk. I don't need to become the head. However, if Hashirama becomes the head, and the Senju clan and Tobirama take control of the village, the Uchiha clan will definitely be eliminated. That's what I'm worried about."
Madara spoke quietly and calmly into Fuyou's ear.
Fuyou becomes even more worried when Tobirama's name is mentioned. She thinks Tobirama could do such a thing.
"Does anyone in the Uchiha clan know about this?"
"No. I have only told my direct subordinates so far. Besides, no one would believe me if I told my clan members, who are enjoying their peace and tranquility now."
However, Fuyou wondered with anguish why Tobirama was so hostile towards the Uchiha clan, despite the peace treaty they had signed.
He then feels sad about his own ignorance and powerlessness regarding ninjas.
"I... I couldn't do anything... I'm sorry."
"You don't need to apologize. I'm happy if you're by my side like this. Right now, I'm searching for a way to save the Uchiha. I know I've made you feel lonely, but knowing that you're always waiting for me like this gives me hope, you know?"
The two of them faced each other and embraced tightly. Fuyou closed her eyes and thought.
Even if the whole world becomes your enemy, I will always be your ally...
◆
"It's an extra edition! Extra edition! Hashirama has been chosen as the new Hokage! The village's name has been decided to be the Hidden Leaf Village!"
A week ago, the ninja and general public living in the village had voted for candidates for leader.
Based on the results, a meeting was held with the Land of Fire and after discussions among the village's senior officials, Hashirama was selected as the village's leader and Hokage.
The whole village was filled with joy and welcomed Hashirama to become Hokage. The Uchiha clan was also there, celebrating with the Senju.
The next day, work began immediately on carving the face rocks between the pillars into the rock wall.
No one looked at Madara, who had lost the election, nor did anyone call out to him.
The cold late autumn wind brushes against the hibiscus' cheeks.
Fuyou looked up at Hashirama's rock face, holding back her loose hair that was sticking loosely to her face.
Madara was still away from home a lot of the time.
At the girls' school, after Hashirama was chosen as the Hokage, the atmosphere among the students became increasingly excited, and the amount of unfounded slander against Fuyou also increased.
Today is finally the day I can meet Itsuki.
However, if Fuyou saw Itsuki's face right now, she would probably burst into tears.
"Hibiscus! Sorry to keep you waiting!"
As she looked up at Kao-iwa, Itsuki came running towards her, waving his hands widely. Fuyou also ran towards Itsuki.
"Itsuki!"
Even though I tried not to cry, as I hugged Itsuki, the tears naturally started to flow.
"I'm sorry... I thought I should meet you with a smile, but I..."
"There's no point in trying to hide it! I can tell what happened as soon as I see your face."
"Hehe. As expected... you're the strongest kunoichi, Itsuki."
Fuyou smiles while crying.
...It's not because I'm a kunoichi. It's because I love Fuyou with all my heart...
The two of them went into the gazebo in the park and sat facing each other. Fuyou honestly told Itsuki about Madara's situation, her feelings, and how she had been getting more and more slandered at school. Itsuki listened carefully to what Fuyou had to say, nodding nods, without interrupting. Then, when he had finished listening, he began to speak.
"Honestly, at first I couldn't trust the Uchiha clan either, and you see, I couldn't accept Madara and Fuyou either. But after meeting and talking with Madara many times, and working with the Uchiha clan at work, I realized they aren't bad people. They say there are a thousand hands of love, but I feel like there are actually a lot more kind people in the Uchiha clan. I'm sure the goodness of the Uchiha clan and Madara isn't known to the people of the village yet. I feel that as we live together from now on, we will definitely be able to achieve true reconciliation."
"That's right... Not everyone shares the same opinion as Tobirama-sama. I'm sure there are plenty of ninja out there like Itsuki-chan."
Itsuki nodded vigorously and continued speaking.
"Also, regarding the slander at school. What's painful is that it's not just jealousy. Just like what I said before, there are many students and parents who don't think well of the Uchiha clan. After all, it's a school entirely founded by the Senju. I'm sure there are many people who don't think well of Fuyou, who broke off her engagement to Hashirama and is living with Madara."
"Yeah... I think I understand that too. I want to continue being a teacher, but sometimes I wonder if I'm not the right person for that school and if that's the case, maybe I should quit."
"That's frustrating too. You haven't done anything wrong. But it's wrong to let Fuyou be hurt unnecessarily, so maybe you should consider transferring to a different school. Well, you'll need to talk to Hashirama about that though..."
Itsuki looked at the ground in frustration. Fuyou joined him, gazing in the direction he was looking.
In front of me were yellow dandelions blooming, clinging to the ground as if defying the cold.
Seeing the dandelion, Fuyou makes up her mind and tells Itsuki:
"I really don't want to lose. I don't think there are any other schools I can work at other than an all-girls school, and it's a dream I've finally made come true. I'll try my best!"
"Don't push yourself, okay? I'll see if there's anything I can do to help."
"Thank you. Itsuki... I really love you!"
As usual, Fuyou hugged Itsuki.
Itsuki felt like he wanted to just kidnap Fuyou.
I want to go somewhere just the two of us, somewhere no one knows me. Somewhere where ninjas and villages have nothing to do with anything...
Itsuki hugged Fuyou tightly, as if to convey feelings he could not put into words.
◆
Boom boom, crackle...
Only the sound and light of torches dominate the world.
Hashirama and Madara were in the basement of Nanaga Shrine, which was on the border between the Uchiha territory and the village.
"This is a stone tablet that has been passed down through generations of the Uchiha...it has never been shown to any other clan. It is a reading that requires special optic powers to decipher."
In front of the two of them is a stone monument lit by torches.
"From what I can decipher right now, it says: 'One God sought stability and was polarized into yin and yang. The two opposing forces interacted with each other to obtain the universe.'... This is a principle that applies to everything."
Madara continued speaking, staring at Hashirama, who was dressed in his Hokage robes.
"In other words, it proclaims that true happiness comes from the cooperation of two opposing forces... but... there is another way to interpret it."
"...?"
"Hashirama, you think I don't know anything?"
Hashirama lowered his gaze at Madara's question and was quiet for a moment.
"...Leave Tobirama to me!"
Hashirama knew what Madara was trying to say.
"...I can't do it without you...As the Hokage's right-hand man, and as a brother, please cooperate with me!...One day, the people will realize your goodness. At that time, as the second Hokage..."
"After you, Tobirama will probably become Hokage... and if that happens, the Uchiha will eventually be wiped out..."
Hashirama opened his mouth to argue, but Madara interrupted him again and continued speaking.
"I knew that, so I called out to the other Uchiha to leave the village, but...it seems no one is willing to follow me."
Madara looked at the stone monument and continued speaking.
"I couldn't even protect my younger brother... I can't even keep the promise I made to him to protect the clan... I'm no longer trusted by the clan I want to protect..."
Hashirama finally spoke up, interrupting Madara.
"That's not true! Everyone, please hurry up..."
"At that time... maybe I should have told you to kill my brother..."
"...!"
"You call me your brother... but which one will you cut down for the sake of the village?"
"...."
"...I think I understand you very well. I can't take this anymore...I'm leaving the village."
Hashirama gradually finds it difficult to understand what Madara is thinking, and is at a loss for words.
"I found another way!"
Madara smiles and spreads his hands.
"...It was only because we shared our views that we realized that cooperation is nothing more than a silent struggle."
Hashirama retorted, spreading his arms wide towards Madara.
"That's not true! I won't let you do that!"
Madara turned his back to Hashirama as if to deflect those words.
"It's all about how you perceive reality, Hashirama... but let's stop being so servile..."
Hashirama shouted at Madara's back.
"Are you even listening to what I'm saying? Madara!"
"It's healthier to see this world as nothing more than a sideshow... You're the only one who can fight on my equal footing."
"..."
What on earth is Madara thinking? Will they start fighting again?
Hashirama had no idea.
"Until I can finally reach the path of my true dreams... I'll enjoy fighting you..."
"What is your true dream? What we were aiming for is right here!!"
Madara replied, turning his face towards Hashirama.
"You... can't see... what lies ahead... the dream ahead."
The Sharingan appears in Madara's eyes.
Hashirama remembered Madara when he awakened his Sharingan and what it meant.
"...If that's the case...tell me what your dream is. If it's to connect to the dream of this village...I need you to guide me...as my superior..."
Hashirama approaches Madara.
"...and as a friend."
Madara turned around to face Hashirama again.
"Hmph… there is no connection. And you will never reach me. There is no point in chasing after me… you know… there is no one who can stand behind me."
With that final statement, Madara disappeared.
"Madara!!"
Only Hashirama's voice continued to echo through the basement.
◆
A cold full moon night.
Just like that night I saw it some time ago, the area was illuminated in a pale blue light, making the roof tiles and silver grass on the houses sparkle.
"...."
"Don't give me that look. I'll definitely come for you. As soon as I can."
Fuyou is at a loss for words, but in truth she desperately wants to stop him.
However, ever since she fell in love with Madara, she had decided that the path and justice that Madara chose would be her own path and justice. And even if Fuyou cried and tried to stop him, Madara would still leave.
"When the time comes, I will send a letter by carrier bird. It will reach you wherever you are, so don't worry. But as I said, you'll have to play the part of the poor woman who was dumped by me so that Hashirama and the village executives don't realize what I'm up to. Got it?"
"…Yes. I understand."
Fuyou looks sad and lowers her eyes. The sound of the Japanese pampas grass rustling in the wind is melancholy.
Madara grabbed Fuyou by both shoulders and looked at her.
"Fuyou. You and I will live in a dream world from now on. When we get there, there will be no concept of sacrifice anymore."
Fuyou raised her head and looked at Madara.
Even though there was moonlight, he couldn't see Madara's face clearly, and the loneliness and anxiety welled up inside him even more. He spoke in an attempt to suppress them.
"Madara-sama... I believe in you, Madara-sama. I will be on your side forever. I love you..."
"You said it again. I love you too, Fuyou."
The two of them embraced and kissed quietly for a while.
Then, without another word, Madara disappeared into the darkness of the moonlit night.
◆
Children run excitedly home from school. The shopping district is bustling with people and full of energy in the evening. The lights are starting to come on in the houses, and the smell of dinner is drifting from somewhere.
No one cared that Madara had left the village.
No one at the girls' school knew about it, and no one asked or said anything to her.
The current peaceful times should be possible thanks to the powers of Madara and Hashirama, but I can't help but feel that everyone in the village is acting as if Madara had never existed in the first place.
Soon the sun will set behind the edge of the mountains.
Fuyou stood alone on the bank, watching it all unfold.
"Hibiscus..."
I turned towards the voice calling my name and saw Hashirama there.
"Hashirama-sama. Good evening."
Fuyou wasn't surprised, nor did she think about why Hashirama had appeared, she simply said something appropriate to the situation.
"Sorry for the sudden message. I didn't want to show up at your house, so...are you okay alone?"
Hashirama is worried about him. Why?
Ah, I'm just a poor woman who was abandoned...
"It's sad, but it's okay. I have school during the day."
"Well... if you don't mind, why don't you come to my house? I know you won't feel like doing that so soon after Madara has left, but I'm sure it's unsettling for a woman to be alone in a large house. You can use the annex on our house. Of course, I'll make sure you don't have to see Tobirama, and I won't ask you to work like before. You can stay as long as you like, and use me however you like."
Fuyou thought deeply.
If he refused now, would Hashirama become suspicious? But he had no intention of living with her, and besides, he wouldn't be able to receive letters from the carrier bird if he stayed at Hashirama's house.
"Thank you for your concern... but I'm not in the mood for that right now. Sorry."
"Y-yes... sorry. But if you need anything, please come to me anytime. I still consider you to be family, Fuyou. So..."
The sun had set and only the sky was glowing red, turning the surroundings into a dim purple world.
"You are truly kind, Hashirama-sama."
"Oh, really?... Oh, the sun has already set. Let me take you home."
"Then I'll take you up on your offer."
The two of them walked out side by side.
Hashirama wanted to ask Fuyou about the dream Madara had mentioned, but considering how she was feeling right now, he couldn't ask.
And in fact, it seemed to me that the reason Fuyou had been left behind like this was because Madara thought that Fuyou was not necessary for his dream.
But would Madara really abandon the woman he loved so easily? A slight doubt remains.
Hashirama gently looked at Fuyou's profile. Even in the dim light he could see that her expression was clouded.
"I... was abandoned by Madara-sama. I believed in him... but it seems I'm no longer needed in his future dreams."
Fuyou began speaking as if she knew what Hashirama was thinking. It always surprised me how Fuyou has always been able to anticipate other people's feelings.
"After all, I was wrong to trust and love the Uchiha. But I still can't hate or forget you, Madara-sama."
As he said this in a tearful voice, Fuyou gently wiped away her tears. Hashirama stopped.
"No, you did nothing wrong. I'm sure Madara was happy that you believed in him and loved him. However, he couldn't choose between you and his dreams... It's him. He didn't want to drag you down a difficult path with him. That's for sure."
Hashirama was an incredibly kind person and Fuyou felt relieved that he didn't seem to doubt her at all.
Fuyō smiled softly.
"Thank you. I'm glad to hear you say that, Hashirama-sama. It helps me not to hate you, Madara-sama. I too would like to find a new path."
Seeing Fuyou acting so bravely made Hashirama's heart ache.
I just want to hug her and take her home.
...I want to start again. I want you to be with me...
I somehow managed to hold back the urge to blurt it out, and after watching Fuyou enter the house, I headed home.
It was pitch black. There was no moon in the sky. It was a new moon.
◆
As soon as they saw each other, they ran towards each other and embraced each other.
The two of them embrace, their breath rising in white clouds. The surrounding trees have lost all their leaves, making them look lonely.
"...Fuyou. I'm sorry. I couldn't be with you when you were going through the most difficult time."
"No. I mean, it's a mission, so it can't be helped... but I wanted to see Itsuki soon."
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..."
Seeing Fuyou's teary-eyed face and painful smile, Itsuki was suddenly flooded with regret for his own incompetence, as well as all the feelings he had had towards Fuyou up until that point.
... Kiss...
For a moment, Fuyou couldn't believe what had happened, but rather than thinking about what this could mean, she naturally chose to close her eyes and surrender herself to Itsuki's kindness.
Sensing that Fuyou had unwillingly given herself to him, Itsuki embraced her tightly and continued kissing her while stroking the back of her head.
Itsuki felt as if their feelings had been connected, but he was afraid that it would end up being just his imagination, a mere fantasy, so he couldn't stop the kiss.
Fuyou felt as if her heart was melting from the sweet and gentle kiss, but the guilt she felt towards Madara immediately came back to her.
"...Itsuki."
He stopped kissing Fuyou and pulled away.
"S-sorry... Did you hate it? It was disgusting, wasn't it? I'm sorry. Really..."
"No. I was happy. But I still love you, Madara-sama. So..."
Although he feels relieved to learn that the reason Fuyou is rejecting him is because she feels guilty towards Madara, he also feels frustrated and irritated.
However, in the three months since Fuyou was suddenly abandoned by Madara when he left the village, he had been on a mission to the Daimyo of the Land of Fire and had been unable to support Fuyou.
Considering how painful it must have been for Fuyou to have been alone, it's hard to blame her for still pining for Madara even after being abandoned.
What I need to do now is to comfort Fuyou's wounded heart and help her heal.
"That's true... I can't forget that easily. But I'm sure Fuyou will be able to find a new world with those memories. Don't worry, everything will be fine."
"Thank you for understanding. I'm so glad. Itsuki... I love you."
Fuyou said as she hugged Itsuki again.
Itsuki understands that Fuyou's love for Madara is different from her love for him.
Someday, someday, if Fuyou would show him the same love she showed to Madara...Even in situations like this, he couldn't help but think selfishly.
But it's okay if I still love it.
As long as Fuyou was by my side.
"It's okay. Even if we're apart, I'll always be with you. I love you too."
They both looked at each other and smiled.
Before we knew it, light snow had started to fall. But the space between the two of us felt as warm as spring.
◆
"This is... Itsuki's chakra. It's been coming almost every day since I returned from my mission. Could it be that Itsuki is involved?"
Ever since Madara left the village, Tobirama has occasionally used his sensing ability to keep an eye on Madara's house where Fuyou lives.
Before leaving the village, Madara left some cryptic words for Hashirama.
Tobirama didn't understand what that meant, but there was no doubt that Madara was rejecting this village.
If that is the case, it would not be surprising if the day came when Madara would attack the village.
Tobirama thought that this was why Fuyou had been left behind in the village.
However, Tobirama was the only one thinking about such things. Most of the ninja and residents of the village, and even the Uchiha clan, were indifferent to Madara's disappearance. Hashirama also had no doubt that Fuyou was a poor woman who had been abandoned, and even said he would let her live with him in his house.
"I can't imagine that Madara, who was so obsessed with protecting his brother and his clan and who had used any means to achieve that goal, would let go of the woman he loved so easily. There must be something going on."
He had also advised this to Hashirama, but of course his kind-hearted and foolish brother didn't believe him.
He could have spoken about it in the assembly, but rather than causing a fuss, Tobirama, whose perception abilities were unmatched, decided it would be more appropriate to investigate secretly on his own.
On this day, Tobirama had come within about fifty meters of Madara's house, from which distance he could hear the conversation between Fuyou and Itsuki.
"Hey, Fuyou. This is way too much, no matter how you look at it. I can't eat this much."
"Well, today is Madara-sama's birthday, right? Even if Madara-sama isn't here, I still want to celebrate. I thought if I made lots of them, my feelings would reach him. Hehehe."
"You see, I don't think you really thought you were going to make this many, though?"
"If only Madara-sama would return, there wouldn't be any problems."
"Yes, yes. Stop. You're going down that path again. We decided not to have any expectations, right?"
"Uh, yeah... that's right. Sorry."
"There's no other way. I'll take this to Hashirama. Okay? I have work after this. If I told him Fuyou made it, he'd probably cry tears of joy. Ah, maybe it'd be funnier if I didn't say it was from Fuyou."
"You don't have to tell me, but please take it."
...You're calling the Hokage by his first name...
Tobirama couldn't help but make a comment in his mind.
...Nothing unusual today. Itsuki doesn't seem to know anything either. But who knows when Fuyou might offer to help Itsuki. I'll have to keep an eye on her. ...
"Well, I'll come again tomorrow. Make sure you lock the door properly. I'll collect the Inari fee from Hashirama."
"Stop it, money!"
"Jodan, but I think it's worth it. This flavor!"
"Thank you, Itsuki. Thanks to you, Itsuki, it turned out even more delicious than usual. Good luck with your work."
"Yes. I'm off now."
After making sure that Itsuki had left, Tobirama also headed towards Hashirama.
"What is this? It's so delicious! Where is it from?"
"This is Tachibanaya."
"Hmm? Is it a new store? I don't know because new stores are opening all the time."
"We haven't decided when we'll open yet, though. So, we'll take 100 yen each for start-up capital. Thank you in advance."
"Waah, 100 yen! Isn't that expensive?"
"Then you don't have to eat it. The (future) owner of the restaurant, Tachibana Fuyou, made it for us."
"I'm gonna eat them all!!! I'll buy them all!!! I'll buy them for 200 yen each!"
"It's really easy to understand..."
Clack. Tobirama came into the room.
"Ah, Tobirama-sama. Thank you for your hard work. Would you like some, Tobirama-sama? I have some inari sushi from Tachibana-ya. It's 200 yen a piece."
"O-oi, Itsuki..."
Before Hashirama could stop him, Itsuki, who was unaware of Tobirama and Fuyou's circumstances, bravely approached Tobirama and offered him an inari sushi.
"...Yeah. I was just feeling hungry. Can I have some?"
Hashirama had a complicated look on his face as he watched Tobirama reach for the inari sushi that Fuyou had made. Tobirama put the inari into his mouth with a blank look on his face.
...Wow, it's sooooo good!...
"Yeah... 200 yen is expensive, but it's pretty tasty."
He said as he extended another hand.
"Hey, Tobirama! Don't eat it all!"
While being amazed at how easygoing the brothers were, Itsuki also felt a little remorseful towards the two of them for having actually paid the money.
◆
Fuyou looked up at the sky as she always did.
Before you know it, the new year has arrived, and the plum blossoms in the garden are blooming, filling the air with their sweet fragrance.
With Itsuki coming over to her house and staying over almost every day, and Fuyou herself starting a cooking club after hours at the girls' school and beginning to teach to several students, she wasn't too worried about the fact that the carrier bird from Madara had still not arrived.
But still, Fuyou continued to look up at the sky and wait, as was her daily habit.
Although the weather was fine, the temperature was low, so Fuyou wrapped her scarf around herself tightly and, shivering a little, headed inside the house.
Tzipi tzipi tzipi
A bird is singing loudly behind the hibiscus. I turn around and see a great tit perched on the branch of a plum tree.
Looking closely, he saw something white wrapped around his leg.
"...!"
Fuyou hurried towards the tit, and the bird came towards her and sat on her hand.
Then the tit kicked the white paper that was wrapped around its leg, dropping it into Fuyou's palm, and it landed on Fuyou's shoulder and chirped again.
Fuyou hurriedly tried to open the small white paper package that had fallen into her palm.
I was in a hurry and was so nervous that my hands were shaking and I couldn't open it properly.
When he finally unfolded the paper, it was a letter from Madara.
"Hiyori. How are you? May 1st. 7:00 a.m. I'll be waiting at the Hiedaga Shrine. This letter will burn in three minutes. Be careful."
Seeing Madara's letter, and the prospect of meeting him, Fuyou was so happy that her whole body trembled with joy, and she read the short letter over and over again.
Three minutes passed in the blink of an eye, and the four corners of the paper began to catch fire. When he hastily let go of the letter, it burned and turned to white ash, disappearing into the sky.
He gazed sadly at the long-awaited handwritten letter from Madara disappearing, but his heart began to race with joy at the thought of being able to meet Madara again.
"Yay!"
Hiding her face in her clenched fists, Fuyou let out a small cry of joy.
But there's still two and a half months left. It's a long time...
Fuyou walked inside the house and sat in the living room, looking out at the spot where Madara usually sat.
...I can live with Madara-sama again. I can finally marry him.
···but···
Before Fuyou's eyes, the faces of Itsuki, Hashirama, Butsuma, Tsubaki...Tobirama, as well as the students at school and acquaintances from the village flashed one after another.
If you leave the village, you'll probably never come back.
But, I'm sure that on the day that Madara's dream world comes true, we'll meet again...
Until then, Fuyou sincerely hoped that the village of Konoha, something Madara denied, would remain in peace.
