Chapter 10 "Overlord Of The Sea"

That's right! The direction in which the "Mutated Canglong" fled is the same direction Noah escaped, and this earth-colored rock is him! The distance between the two is now less than 10 meters. As long as he makes a move, he will definitely be able to attack the other side! However, he wasn't sure of the other party's current condition. If it was just a minor injury, he would be doomed! But with this big piece of opportunity right in front of his mouth, if he didn't take it, he would really regret it.

Noah cautiously used the "Induction" skill to explore the physical condition of the "Mutated Canglong." He discovered multiple injuries and huge wounds, and it was still bleeding. There were two fatal injuries among them, indicating that even without his intervention, the "Mutated Canglong" had a low chance of survival.

He now had two choices. One was to launch a sneak attack to secure his future, and the second was to wait until the creature was completely dead before intervening. Although the second option was risk-free, what if the other party recovered? Then wouldn't his plan to seize the opportunity be ruined?

"MD! You can find wealth in danger, fight for it!" Noah decided, exclaiming, "Boohoo!" Dozens of "high-pressure water cannons" were aimed at the multiple wounds of the "Mutant Canglong," and this time he didn't hold back! He attacked with all his strength.

"Roar!~" The "Mutated Canglong," which had just fallen into a deep sleep, was awakened by Noah's attack! Its original wounds were injured again, and the blood flowed non-stop. Furious, it looked at the octopus that suddenly appeared and bit at it.

"Flash Technique"!

"Wow!" The intense light blinded Canglong's eyes, causing temporary blindness. "Boohoo!" Dozens more "high-pressure water cannons" attacked Canglong, leaving bloody holes all over its body. At this time, Canglong was biting everywhere like a mad dog, tearing apart seabed rocks and soil.

"You can't see anymore! Die for me!" Noah said excitedly as the "high-pressure water gun" kept attacking Canglong. As ten seconds passed, Canglong gradually regained its sight. It glared at Noah above it with great anger, wishing to tear him to pieces! With a swish, the blue dragon rushed up and swallowed Noah in one gulp.

Its hatred resolved, but then, countless giant octopuses appeared next to Canglong, leaving it stunned! Didn't it just swallow the other person? Why were there so many more? Canglong continued attempting to eat these octopuses, but exhausted, it could only let them attack it with water cannons. Soon, it succumbed to death.

Noah looked at the "Mutated Canglong," which was no longer moving, and knew that the creature was in a state of conscious death. From the moment the "Mutated Canglong" was hit by his "Flash Technique," it had already fallen into Noah's illusion. However, the illusion was too realistic for a Canglong to comprehend!

Noah swam over to the "Mutated Canglong" and struck a pose: "Nine-tails captured successfully!" He reenacted the posture and tone of a certain showman. However, the creature was so large that he couldn't drag it away and could only feast on the spot.

"Ding! The host devours 'Mutated Canglong' and gains 1,000 energy points!"

"OH!~Oh my god! This one bite adds 1,000 energy points, it's so cool!" Noah exclaimed as he started eating voraciously. Ten minutes later, he was full and picked a slender bone to clean his teeth. "Not bad, not bad! It tastes great! In the words of the silly lighthouse country, it is very good!" Noah hummed happily.

He had only consumed one-twentieth of the Canglong's flesh and blood, and his energy points had accumulated to 46,500. It was enough for him to evolve and grow! But with so much Canglong flesh and blood, he really didn't want to give it up. By the way, didn't he have a "System Backpack"? He decided to check if it worked!

His consciousness immediately sank into the system. He found the "System Backpack" and clicked to use it.

"Ding! Are you sure you want to collect the corpse of 'Mutant Canglong'? This item takes up 20 spaces in your backpack!"

"Sure!"

In an instant, the huge Canglong corpse in front of him turned into a stream of light and entered his head. At this time, there were a total of three items in the "System Backpack." They were the "Mutated Canglong" corpse, "Bloodline Enhancement Potion," and "Talent Enhancement Potion."

The "Bloodline Enhancement Potion" and "Talent Enhancement Potion" only occupied one space each, while the body of the "Mutated Canglong" occupied 20 spaces, and his entire "System Backpack" only had 50 spaces!

Ha ha! This young man was really clever! This Canglong corpse contained enough energy points for the next evolution!

Then he found another submarine cave, entered it, and began his evolution. He was in a dilemma again about which evolutionary path to choose. He felt all four options were very good and wanted to choose them all. In the end, he chose the "Phantom Octopus," which was closer to the current octopus species. They all had a magic word on them, so they couldn't be wrong!

"Ding! You have met the requirements to evolve 'Phantom Octopus.' Would you like to spend 10,000 energy points to evolve it?"

"Yes! Evolve!"

Suddenly, a wave of energy entered his body, and he fell into a deep sleep again. This time, the evolutionary sleep was lengthened, taking a full three days and nights!

After the changes of the past few days, Blue Star had changed beyond recognition. The Dragon Kingdom's "Fortress Plan" was launched promptly, and five giant fortresses were built in many regions across the country. Each fortress could accommodate a population of 500 million. The walls of these fortresses were hundreds of meters high and were all made of steel. At the same time, a large number of weapons, ammunition, and living supplies were stored in each fort.

The methods of the Dragon Kingdom spread to various countries around the world. However, some small and backward countries were simply unable to build such steel fortresses and could only allow mutated animals and plants to kill their people. Initially, human thermal weapons could block most mutant creatures, but as time passed, many huge mutant creatures and legendary creatures appeared in human sight.

These terrifying creatures could no longer be harmed by machine guns and artillery; nuclear bombs had to be used. However, nuclear bombs could only damage them but not kill them. This, in contrast, would arouse the creatures' ferocity and desire for revenge. Capable countries could only learn from the Dragon Kingdom and build steel fortresses to defend against mutant creatures.

But there was also good news: very few evolvers appeared among humans! These evolved beings not only possessed strong physical qualities, but some also possessed special abilities, such as elemental control, the power to change forms, mental abilities, etc. Evolvers had given the entire human race hope for survival, and all countries were actively researching how to evolve everyone.

When Noah woke up again, he found that he was different from before because his sensing ability had become passive, and the range had expanded dozens of times, from a previous distance of 100 meters to the current distance of 5,000 meters. He decided to take a look at the "Properties Page" now!
