Become Overpowered CEO of Hero Clan

Chapter 115

Become Overpowered CEO of Hero Clan – 115

“Marius, that’s enough. I allowed this because of your stubbornness, but no more. We are all bishops of DRR, after all. We should get along.”
“Sigh, sorry. It’s hard to control myself when I see that face. Master Cheongun, please forgive my rudeness. I acted impulsively without realizing it.”
“Fuhuhu.”
Master Cheongun, who had revealed an unknown power, laughed like a madman, deciding to play along with the brothers’ sly performance.
“Aren’t you at an age full of vigor? As someone a bit older, I should be the one to hold back.”
“My apologies. My brother is still immature.”
“Hahaha, you two are quite shameless. But Disaster, don’t you have something to say to me? You didn’t call me here for this, did you?”
“Of course. Actually…”
The three bishops of DRR, gathered in the basement of an abandoned building somewhere in South Korea, finally began a proper strategic meeting.
Their goal was to monopolize the underground business in South Korea, as initially planned, and then to completely occupy the Korean Peninsula, a strategic military location in East Asia, making it the second main base of DRR. Instead of waging a full-scale war against China and Japan, they planned to dominate the underground business and expand DRR’s influence.
For this reason, they had been carrying out terrorist attacks across South Korea for two months, causing numerous civilian casualties and continuously eroding the trust in the Hero Association of Korea. This was one of DRR’s fundamental tactics to slowly strangle the country to death.
As the people lost faith in the government’s ability to maintain public order, they began to emigrate one by one, and foreign investors’ capital continued to flee. Eventually, the distribution network would collapse, and the economy would be devastated. When the people suffered from food shortages, they would start rioting.
DRR was able to become the world’s largest villain organization thanks to its meticulous tactics and strategies, as well as the fanatical sacrifices of its “ordinary” members, who were willing to risk their lives.
As the villains charged forward with a determination to die, the damage would only accumulate.
“Is that really true?!”
Meanwhile, Master Cheongun, who had been listening intently to Disaster’s plan, was taken aback and almost fell backwards.
“Yes. They control Emperor-level magical machine soldiers and even have the Emperor’s superior backing them. If we can receive their help, taking down the Sword Emperor wouldn’t be impossible.”
“Such an incredible ally exists? Does the Leader know about this?”
“Of course. Do you think I would secretly pursue such a massive undertaking?”
“Hahaha! With the Emperor’s monsters and magical machine soldiers, not only will taking down the Sword Emperor be a breeze, but toppling South Korea alone seems like child’s play.”
“So, I have a request for you, Master Cheongun. We plan to launch a full-scale offensive in ‘six months’ with the help of those allies. Just relay exactly what you heard to God Hand. I trust you understand what I mean.”
“Fuhaha! Ah, I see. A full-scale war in six months. Since I heard it directly, I will convey it as it is, in accordance with the Oath of the Heart Demon.”
“Up until now, the Hero Association of Korea has relied on your intelligence, Master Cheongun, and through it, they have been able to reduce the number of casualties significantly. They will have no choice but to believe your words.”
“Indeed. It’s a checkmate. Once they learn of your ‘real’ plan, I’ll ensure that incidents are triggered in Japan and the United States around that time. I’ll also handle the withdrawal of Chinese reinforcements.”
“We’re counting on you, Master Cheongun.”
The invaders’ strategy was perfectly laid out, and the future of South Korea looked bleak. Nodding, Master Cheongun expressed his admiration once more.
“Haha, I might have to serve you two brothers as my superiors in the future. I still can’t believe what I’ve heard.”
“There are four awakened beings in the world. One each in the United States, Japan, China, and Korea. Including our leader, we now have three ‘Emperors’ capable of facing the awakened ones. No single force in the world can stand against our DRR. Whether ‘they’ will continue to ally with us remains to be seen.”
“We delayed our expansion into East Asia because of those ‘awakened ones.’ Soon, the doctrine of Black Salvation will spread to every corner of the world. Hahaha!”

────────!
– Boom! –
[You have defeated the magical machine soldier ‘Void Viper.’]
[You have gained 10,000 points for defeating a formidable enemy!]
The giant moray eel that had been flying through the air vanished without a trace. Isaac, sheathing his Karna Blade, surveyed the eerie surroundings and nodded slightly.
“It seems I’ve come to the right place.”
All around him was a lush green forest, and the sky was adorned with a blue galaxy. At the center of it all, a massive blue sphere shone brilliantly, mysteriously encircled by an incredibly tall tree spiraling upwards from the forest’s heart.
The height of the tree, which supported the blue sphere in its spiral embrace, appeared to be several hundred kilometers.
Confirming the direction he had come from, Isaac summoned Gunggi and began to sprint forward rapidly.
Sparkling fairy-like creatures began to gather around, but Isaac paid them no mind, completely ignoring their presence.
“Eat this.”
After an hour of travel, Isaac pulled out a dark blue orb from his pocket and fed it to Gunggi. Gunggi chewed it up, and soon, a dark red aura began to form around his eyes.
– Whoosh! –
The dark red aura eventually enveloped Gunggi’s entire body, blazing fiercely. Isaac stopped moving and let Gunggi rest, then headed towards the base of a massive tree.
The inside of the tree’s hollow base was deeply decayed, creating a sizable empty space. It seemed someone had stayed there before, as there were round, mysteriously shaped pieces of furniture installed inside.
These wooden structures appeared to be circular nests, but they were old and covered in dust. Isaac examined the round wooden furniture briefly before losing interest and sitting cross-legged.
As with any meditation, once Isaac closed his eyes, he remained in that state for twelve hours. While he sat with his eyes closed, a few fairies gathered around him but did no harm.
– Rustle. –
– Thud. Thud. Thud. –
After finishing his meditation, Isaac began to take out some items from his inventory. These were all magical cores he had farmed from magical machine soldiers.
Ranging from top-tier 1st-grade to low-tier 2nd-grade, the magical cores glowed in various hues—reddish-green, purple, and orange—each indicating a different type of core.
Isaac set aside a few cores and put the rest back into his inventory.
– Buzzz –
– Crackle. Crackle! –
As blue energy was infused, the yellow magical core emitted fierce sparks. Unperturbed, Isaac continued to inject blue energy, observing the changes in the core.
This process repeated for two days. During this time, Isaac occasionally fed spare magical cores to Gunggi. Each time Gunggi chewed on a core, he let out a long roar, exuding the ferocity of a wild beast.
“Do you like it?”
“Roar!”
“Hmph, good boy.”
Isaac patted his well-fed summon affectionately and was about to cross the mystical forest again when he paused.
“Hmm?”
He turned his head westward. A faint noise was coming from that direction.
“It’s over there.”
“Could it really be him? It’s probably just a low-tier magical machine soldier.”
“Still, we can’t be sure.”
The voices were faint, barely more than a whisper from a great distance, but Isaac seemed to understand them and chose to wait instead of leaving.
After a while, a strikingly handsome man and woman emerged from the western forest. They spotted Isaac, who was lounging indifferently, and their expressions changed instantly.
“It really is you! Did you think I wouldn’t recognize your aura, even if it has transformed into a water attribute and reached the level of a 5-star?”
The beautiful woman in silk clothes was none other than Ethereal, who had tried to take Isaac as a servant at the ship’s plaza.
“Is that really the same guy? I didn’t pay much attention back then, but he was only a 3-star. Now he possesses power comparable to an awakened being at the 5-star level. And how could a mere 5-star Ethereal survive alone in the ‘Forest of Dawn’?”
“He probably got lucky and escaped from Brother Gocheok’s grasp. Brother Gocheok’s party must be nearby as well. You there, speak up! Where are the seniors who were guiding you?”
The woman advanced on Isaac as if ready to strike, while the man stood back, arms crossed, observing the situation with indifference.
“I don’t know.”
“Don’t know? They were with you just moments ago. Don’t lie!”
“I’m telling the truth. But do you know why they brought me here?”
“Hmph, I was curious about that too. You’re neither a sacrifice nor a servant, yet you’re a mere 3-star spiritual being. Unless you have some special ability for exploring this vast ship, there’s no reason they would have brought you.”
“You guessed correctly. I possess the key to enter the ‘Command Center.’ There are abundant treasures there. Why don’t you come with me?”
“What?! You’re not lying, are you?”
“Why would I lie?”
“Hmph, then…”
The woman and the man began to move their lips, seemingly engaging in a silent conversation. They appeared to be communicating telepathically, trying to persuade each other for about five minutes. Finally, the woman grabbed Isaac’s arm and pulled him.
“Come with us.”
“Let go of my arm. I’ll go on my own.”
“What? How dare you…!”
“The key can only be handled by me. You will benefit from my help, so treat me as an equal.”
As Isaac, who was much lower in cultivation than the man and woman, made such bold statements, the man in the brown robe, who had been observing, unleashed the aura of a 6-star.
“Grrroooar!”
“You fool! Do you not value your life?”
“If I die, what will you do? Don’t you want the treasures in the Command Center?”
“This brat!”
“Wait! It seems he’s lost his mind after facing death a few times. Let’s decide how to punish him after we regroup with our party.”
“If that’s Lady Jeong’s opinion, then…”
With a swift motion, Isaac summoned Gunggi and climbed onto the black tiger’s back. Nodding his head as if to say, “Lead the way,” the two individuals let out incredulous laughs and shook their heads. They seemed to have concluded that Isaac was completely insane.
“He must be a lunatic.”
“Indeed.”
