Beauty and the Beasts: A Forbidden Love in a Mythical

Chapter 2: Chapter 2:The Beast's Relentless Hunt

It wasn't until the exquisite woman's entire snow-white body was fully draped over it that the silver wolf lazily tilted its head. Its glowing green eyes moved to the corner of its vision, locking onto the beautiful woman's flushed face.

With an elegant lift of its paw, it moved with effortless grace. But then...

It suddenly let out a fierce howl, its sharp fangs bared as it lunged toward the woman.

Crack!

The sound was as sharp as a tornado tearing through a forest, like thunder trapped beneath dark clouds, or the foreboding winds before a storm. That one piercing sound—crack!

The silver wolf casually tossed the woman's head aside, leaping into the air with an elegant and powerful leap, swiftly making its way toward Wan Ou.

"Ah—" Wan Ou froze, her body paralyzed with fear. Her pupils dilated, unable to believe her eyes. The exquisite woman's pale skin still glowed with a pink hue from pleasure, but after the wolf's bite, her head and body were now severed. It had to be a special effect—there was no way it was real! Her hands and feet went cold as she tried to reassure herself.

A white flash soared through the air. The wolf's limbs were long and strong, its body massive and imposing, its form radiating pride as it barreled toward her. With a mighty roar, it opened its blood-red maw wide.

"What are you doing? I'm not afraid of you…"

The silver wolf smirked devilishly. She was terrified beyond words, yet she tried to act strong. The scene was enough to send chills down anyone's spine—ah, it was the wolf's heart that was truly terrifying!

With an elegant, mid-air roll, the wolf shot through the air, its massive body gliding like a storm. Its claws stretched out, ready to strike, full of defiance and rage. It howled in fury—it was about to…

Bite her???

"No—" Wan Ou turned and tried to flee, instinctively realizing something was wrong. This silver wolf was not some virtual effect—it was real, and as it barreled toward her, the wind from its movement nearly knocked her off her feet.

Thwack! The wolf's paw slammed down, sending Wan Ou crashing to the ground. She could feel the wild beast's energy, its frantic and uncontrollable nature.

"Don't—bite me!" She trembled, staring up at it. Its silver fur shimmered, and those glowing green eyes radiated an eerie and sinister aura. The long fur on its head blew lightly in the wind, like a phantom dancing in the night.

Protecting her throat with both hands, she instinctively curled into a ball, her wide eyes locked in terror at the enormous beast before her.

Suddenly, the wolf's head moved.

"Ah—!" Wan Ou squeezed her eyes shut and screamed in horror, believing it was about to end her life. She would die just like that beautiful woman—horribly and gruesomely. "I'll haunt you when I'm a ghost, rip your skin off, pull out your tendons, and eat your flesh..."

The wolf's sharp teeth sank into her hand, its fangs digging into her throat. She felt the pressure build, her breath growing shallow. The taste of blood trickled down her neck as the icy wolf fangs pressed deeper, its eyes glowing with cold malice and hatred.

"No—!" With the last of her strength, Wan Ou swatted at its head, desperate to fight for her life. She couldn't die here—not at the jaws of this beast. But the wolf didn't care. It only bit down harder, and slowly, her breath faded. She… was dead…

In the world of Animal Kingdom, it was said that wolves were the fiercest, most persistent creatures in existence. They were born warriors. If one were to challenge it in battle, the outcome was inevitable—just like Wan Ou's. Of course, after two years in the corporate world, under the guidance of her experienced mentors, Wan Ou had learned to bend without breaking. She wouldn't choose such an extreme and utterly self-destructive method to solve her problems.
