After all, the tower had a capacity limit; it could only accommodate ten Beast Tamers at a time.

Usually, this capacity was enough for normal operations, but now it was a special situation.

Faced with this, Lin Su had no choice but to explain to his two pet beasts and then quietly stood at the end of the line.

Having nothing better to do, his gaze soon landed on a large screen on the wall displaying the tower-challenge rankings.

Without any knowledge about the Beast Tamers of the capital, this was a way for him to understand their strength.

After scanning the ten names displayed on the screen, Lin Su's eyes suddenly widened.

This was the top name among the ten and this person was significantly ahead of everyone else; the ones after him had made it only as high as Level 3.

If the other party's Beast Taming Space reached Tier IV or higher, then they were challenging the leader-level Beast Taming Tower.

As the growth stages increased, the difficulty of the challenges exponentially grew.

At the Juvenile stage, having all skills at Level II and one or two at Level III would allow one to easily navigate the first five levels of the Beast Taming Tower.

By the Elite stage, even if all your skills reached Level III, you would only hope to pass Level 4, and passing Level 5 would still be a slim chance.

At the Leader stage, hoping to pass Level 5 with all skills at Level IV was hardly a prospect.

But advancing skills became increasingly difficult.

At the Juvenile stage, Qiuqiu was able to advance Snow Trace to Level III, but at the Elite stage, it could not advance any skill to Level IV, even Frost Silence Storm, which trained fastest and was used most frequently, was still an unreachable distance away from breaking through.

By the time all of Qiuqiu's skills reached Level IV, it was likely to be a monarch-level affair.

Both being Tier III Beast Taming Space holders with two beasts each at the elite level, the other's beasts could pass Level 5 as a team?

That meant he was still far from being among the strongest of elite-level Beast Tamers.

Thinking this, Lin Su fell silent for a moment, caressed the head of Qiuqiu lying on his head, looked towards Ghost in the shadow, and quietly spoke through telepathy, "Let's try to pass Level 4 as a team in the upcoming challenge."

Since Ghost evolved, the two pet beasts had not attempted to collaboratively overcome Level 4, but with Ghost's improved strength, Lin Su thought it might be worth another try.

Qiuqiu had the ability to independently conquer Level 4 long ago, but there was still a distance to Level 5. On the other hand, because of its skill proficiency, its current power was only comparable to Level 3, and it couldn't even guarantee to pass Level 3 alone, much less Level 4.

So, if the two pet beasts were to challenge Level 4 of the Beast Taming Tower together, Ghost would undoubtedly be the one lagging behind.
