Lucius activated his system and scanned the Spectral Knight, as he was curious about what lay beneath its empty armor.

Lucius smirked. "Interesting. This thing isn't just any knight, but an extension of the mansion itself. It is the true immortal."

Lucius tapped his chin. "If it can regenerate endlessly within this mansion, then fighting it head-on will be pointless."

Lucius frowned. "No matter how many times it dies, the mansion will simply revive it."

Lucius' smirk widened. "It is really an interesting beast. It was something that is worth hacking later."

---

Liora immediately lunged forward. Her claws were already ignited with silver flame.

The spectral knight reacted immediately. It raised its massive greatsword and tried to cleave Liora into two.

CLANG!

Liora caught its massive sword with her claws but Liora wasn't finished.

Liora burned her claw even brighter to increase her strength and then—

CRACK!

Liora tightened her grip and snapped the sword in two, shattering the massive sword like a brittle glass.

The spectral knight staggered back, momentarily thrown off balance and Liora used this very chance.

She surged forward, closing the distance in a flash and tearing through the knight's armor like paper.

Her lion's palm slammed against its chest before activating her final strike to explode the knight's armor into pieces.

The remnants of its armor were scattered across the ground. The shadowy mist that once held it together also dissipated.

Liora took a steady breath, lowering her arms. "It's finished."

Lucius, who watched the battle, didn't smile. Instead, he tilted his head slightly. "Liora, don't let your guard down."

Liora frowned, glancing back at him. "What do you mean, Master? Isn't it already dead?"

Lucius then smirked slightly. "If it were that easy to kill, then why do you think it revealed itself so easily?"

Liora's eyes narrowed. "What—?"

Before she could finish her sentence, Luna warned her by shouting. "Liora, behind you!"

Liora's instincts kicked in, and she whipped her head around just in time to see something shocking.

The pieces of the burning armor, which should have been destroyed by her, began to move.

The silver flames died out and were replaced by the shadow mist.

Just like before, it filled and also reconstructed the armor once again and it only took seconds.

Before Liora could react, the Spectral Knight had fully reformed and moved instantly.

"Tch—!"

The massive greatsword that had once been shattered was now whole again, and the knight swung it without hesitation.

Liora only had a split second before managing to raise her claws in defense.

BOOM!

The impact sent Liora flying backward, her body slamming into the stone wall.

Luna gritted her teeth. "Damn it! It fully revived in seconds?!"

Loreia, who had been watching warily from the back, took an involuntary step forward. "Liora! Are you—?!"

Ignoring Loreia, Liora stepped out and now she was angry. "Okay. That's really hurt."

She rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck. "But now I'm pissed."

Lucius, watching the knight reform so quickly, grinned. "Now this is getting interesting."

The Spectral Knight turned its faceless helm toward them, signifying that the battle was not over.

The entire mansion then suddenly shifted. The walls twisted and the floor beneath them rippled.

Liora felt the change immediately, as she could see that the entire room hall was moving as if it were alive.

Loreia was so shocked that she stepped back instinctively. "It's warping the mansion?!"

Luna's eyes narrowed. "To think that this mansion was not its house but instead it turned it into its weapon."

Lucius simply smirked, watching the scene unfold. "Now this… this is fascinating."

Liora didn't wait. She had already ignited her claws with silver flames. "I don't care if this whole place is against me! I'll just burn it all down!"

The Spectral Knight moved and in an instant, numerous phantom weapons appeared again in the air.

With a single motion of its hand, the phantom weapons all moved toward Liora.

One of them, the phantom spear, was aiming at Liora's chest but she ducked low, dodging by a hair's breath.

She then twisted her body to narrowly avoid a battle axe that cleaved down from above.

There were also chains that wanted to wrap her legs, so she leapt over them, but the moment she landed...

Swords came from the walls themselves, stabbing at her from all directions.

Liora frowned and roared. Silver flames burst outward as she burned some of the nearest weapons into ash.

But still, the weapons were too much, so she could only think of one thing.

With a roar, she lunged straight for the knight. She thought that by killing the knight it would be over.

She ignited her claw with a brighter silver flame and aimed its torso.

SLASH!

Her fire burned through its chestplate, and the black mist inside began to fade.

But in that moment, the mansion shifted again and the floor beneath them collapsed.

She fell but managed to tweet and launch herself backup, digging her claws into the stone wall.

She climbed a but before flipping back into battle just in time to meet another wave of phantom weapons.

Liora roared again, unleashing a massive burst of silver fire to form a protective wave around her.

All of the weapons that were aiming at her were burned off before they could touch her.

The Spectral Knight took a step back as it was trying to reform its shadow body.

Liora, landing back on her feet, grinned. "What now? You're running?"

But before she could charge again, the mansion twisted once more.

The walls moved again to block her path and the spectral knight began to summon more phantom weapons.

Liora gritted her teeth. "Fine. We'll see who lasts longer—you, or my flames."

Lucius chuckled as he watched the exciting battle from the sidelines. "Good. Keep burning it down, Liora. Let's see if this so-called immortal knight can withstand you."
